BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE ORTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE OF VITAL
IMPORTANCE TO YOU THAT THEY ARE NOT TELLING YOU
First let's get something
clear about erroneous notions of Paul and his founding a new religion,
which he didn't. True, the halakhah of his Judaism switched from the
Pharisaic oral law to the Ruach Hakodesh, but his religion was still one
of the Judaisms of the time, not a new non-Judaism Gentile
religion.
When we look at the inerrant Hebrew
Bible, we see that we battle not against flesh and blood, but against
something called the Hosea
5:4 "ruach zenunim, the spirit of whoredom, the spirit of spiritual
unfaithfulness, the spirit of harlotry, the spirit of fornication."
This spirit is stubborn and blind and bent on turning away from the L-rd.
When we read about that wicked Queen Jezebel and her evil spiritual sway
over Israel, and when we read about the exhaustion and depression brought
on Elijah because of the spiritual warfare this witch necessitated (see 1Kgs chp 19), then we
understand something of what is involved in wrestling in prayer for the
salvation of the Jewish people, especially the kind of intercessory prayer
that is the heartbeat of this ministry and should be the heatbeat of every Kehillah.
Job 42:10 says that Job
was an intercessory prayer warrior, and that he prayed intercessory
prayers. Satan attacked him and Job's life was a test. But he said,
"Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him," and Satan was resisted. If I
told you all the physical
tests, all the emotional torments, all the spiritual pressures of this
ministry, you would surely wonder how we have endured since 1975 the Jezebel
onslaught of spiritual wickedness in high places. I have in my hand a
demonic tract found on the floor of the subway platform today, a deluded
piece of advertising for a dead rabbi purporting that he is no less than
the eternal Moshiach. How deluded and demonically befuddled are those who
believe this delusion. How much they need our intercessory prayers. We
have been praying for them for many years, that G-d would deliver them
from the spirit of Jezebel, that evil witch who bewitched Israel with a
false religion and with the unclean Canaanite rain g-d Ba'al and the
unclean wicked idolatry associated with it. When you read of Elijah and
Elisha and Hosea you get a picture of what agony of soul these prophets
endured in the spiritual warfare I am talking about. The Jewish world will
go one way or the other, and you need to pray that the Jewish world will
go not in the direction of a dead rabbi but a living one, one whose tomb is empty and who
deserves all honor and praise. The burden is so great (Lam 3:48-50), I would like
to stop what I am writing here and pray in the Spirit for about 10 hours.
You have to understand that we are fighting demonic hosts. You have to see
the unclean spirit, the powerful spirit of delusion, a whirlpool of death that
thousands of Jewish souls are presently drowning in. Thank G-d for the
mighty Tevilah in the Ruach Hakodesh! Thank G-d that the prophet Joel's
old men can dream dreams. Please pray with us and for us. Satan would kill
us all if he could. We are praying for the salvation of the Jewish people!
Join us in prayer! Intercessory prayer for erring brethren, that's what
Job engaged in in Job 42:10, and that's what we have been doing and what I
beg you to share in. The wonderful secret is that when Job prayed for
others, G-d turned Job's captivity, just as He will also turn yours and
help you prayer warriors and restore your fortunes when trouble befalls
you. So realize the great responsibility you have from G-d as intercessory
prayer shomrim (Isaiah
62:6-7; 64:7; 59:16; Ps 14:2; 2Chr 16:9; to avert
judgment by standing in the gap (Ezek 22:30-31; Gen 18:23-32; Ex 32:7-14; Deut 9:8-9, 12-20, 23-27;
Ps 106:23; Job 16:21; Deut 5:5; Mk 14:33-35), to pray not
dry-eyed perfunctory prayers (Ezra 10:1; Neh 1:4; Isa 22:4; Jer 13:17; 23:9; Lam 3:48-51; Joel 2:12-14, 17-18; MJ 5:7) but heart-rending
prayers with fasting (Deut.
9:8-9, 12-27; Ezra
10:6; Dan 9:3-4; Jonah 3:5-10) and without
ceasing (Lam 2:18-19)
to set the captive free (Ac
12:5-12) and for leaders (1Tim 2:1-2) and for
ministers (2Co 1:11; 1Th 5:25; MJ 13:17-18) and for G-d’s
people (Joel 2:12-13,17;Ro 1:9; 15:30-32; Col 4:3; Eph 6:18-20; Lk 22:31-32; Yn 17:15; 2Th 3:1-2;)
O that
you would be delivered from dead works and worthless vanities and receive
the mind of Moshiach and as intercessory prayer warriors become richer by far.
