DO YOU KNOW THE DERECH HASHEM [REQUIRES LITERACY IN HEBREW]? ARE YOU DEPRESSED [THIS IS IN ENGLISH]? IF YOU HAVE HIGH SPEED ACCESS, TAKE A MOMENT TO LISTEN TO THIS MP3 FILE BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE ORTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE OF VITAL IMPORTANCE TO YOU THAT THEY ARE NOT TELLING YOU IF YOU DO NOT HAVE HIGH SPEED ACCESS, TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE ABOVE MP3 FILE, BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE ORTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE OF VITAL IMPORTANCE TO YOU THAT THEY ARE NOT TELLING YOU You have forgotten the hopelessness, the emptiness of your old life, the deep inner unhappiness you once knew. You have forgotten how it felt so long ago when you did not know the joyful sound, when you had no empathy with praying believers and sincere seekers in the House of G-d. You have forgotten the hopelessness you knew, the absurd, meaningless, sniper fire of death picking off everyone around you. At that time the Bible was a closed book. You had no one who could explain it. And even if someone tried, you were unspiritual, a gross beast trying to fathom what was said. The text itself you had no real interest in. Your spiritual attention span was that of a dullard who was slow to hear, slower to comprehend. You could not decipher the Holy Book. You were in a chilling condition, without hope and without G-d in the world. You have forgotten all that. It is a remote memory. Other things, fair idols freshly fished from newly dug wells, have captivated your attention. You have deserted the love you had a first. Your words seem close to the L-rd as you say this, but your heart is not. Your heart has drifted away from the L-rd. Your heart is far from Him. You have hardened your heart in the deceitfulness of sin. You have tarried too long at Vanity Fair. You have gazed back too long, too longingly, at Sodom. Remember Lot's wife. Your eyes have tripped you up, as hers did. How could it have happened? How could the love you had at first grow cold? The tears you once knew, those hot tears of repentance and contrition. How could they evaporate? How could they dry up? How could even the memory of them almost blow away. O G-d, forgive me. Don't let me harden my heart in the deceitfulness of sin. Forgive me. Draw me back to Yourself. Forgive me. That's the way you will pray when you remember how you once wept, how you wept when you thought of your wasted wicked life, your days of debauchery, your evil pursuits and shameful dalliances in the world. At that time the Holy Spirit was wooing you to the rightful Adon kol HaAretz of your life. Yet the Ruach Hakodesh was at the same time convicting you of the diastrous wreck you had made of your life without your Savior. Then you wanted nothing but the assurance of your salvation and the touch of the Moshiach's forgiving hand. So now it's time to bring your focus back to the one and only Savior, the Moshiach Ben Dovid, the Goel Redeemer of your nefesh. He is the center of your heart and life. There is no other Savior. He's the Savior of the World. How blind we are to miss him! No one else is as important. Who is more important than the Savior of the world? Who is a bigger liar than the man who says that Yeshua is not the Moshiach? It's time to remember from where you have fallen. It's time to turn away from sin and turn back to Moshiach Ben Dovid. It's time to do our first works. It's time to return to our first love. Now stop right here. At this point, I am convicted, you are convicted,
all of us should be convicted and want very much to understand salvation and to
take a step of faith to obey Moshiach Goeleinu, "L-rd,
don't let me be guilty of deserting the love I had at first. Don't let me
harden my heart. O, L-rd, keep my heart tender and soft and contrite and
moved to tears by the Holy Spirit as I hear preaching that
convicts me of my sins, that I would never harden my heart against the
Spirit of Truth." Isn't it
time to come back to our spiritual
home?
