ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HAS NO EMUNAH IN HA-SHEM (THE NAME) OF THE BEN YACHID OF

THE TEXT SAYS ALREADY CONDEMNED.
It it as though the unbeliever is stretched out on the gurney of divine
justice, the lethal injection needles already in place, the witnesses on the
other side of the observation window already seated, the phone call to the
Governor's office already placed, the Governor's phone already ringing in the
Governor's office. The unbeliever is condemned already.
The text
says ALREADY condemned.The condemned are condemned already.
Nothing is sparing the man, the condemned man, except the delay, and the
delay is the sovereign kindness of undeserved mercy.
And G-d's kindness is meant to lead the "dead man walking" to repentance, to
a change of heart, to a contrite turn of mind, that the condemned man would at
last admit his crimes and iniquity and cry out for clemency and
forgiveness.
This is as we should expect. After all, in such a grave condition, stretched
out and strapped down for death,
would one indulge in more crimes? Would one attempt more wickedness, more
law-breaking? It seems absurd to ask. Think of it! At the stroke of midnight,
waiting for the last word before the execution, would a condemned murdering
rapist in that execution chamber try in the time remaining for one more rape,
one more murder, perhaps even assault the executioner if he could? At such a
time would the sodomite attempt one more sodomy? Would the fornicator try a
final fornication? And if he did try to repeat his crimes right then and there,
would the witnesses looking on be scandalized?
Not in America! In this country we witness at least 4 million couples living
in fornication in any given year, from movie stars to average ordinary men and
women. No one is scandalized. No one thinks anything of it. Even though the
plague of AIDS has fallen on sexually transmitted wickedness and perversion, no
one turns from these things. No one is appalled. No one is conscience-stricken.
No one turns back from these fornications.
Fornication is defined by the dictionary as sexual intercourse between two
persons not married to each other. They co-habitate together brazenly and
without compunction. She has herpes. He has gonorrhea. Still G-d hasn't gotten
their attention. Nothing succeeds in embarrassing them. Their sin shrieks to
high heaven but they take no notice. I once saw a filthy homeless woman who
stank so badly when she sat down that she emptied a whole subway car at the next
stop, but she had become used to her own odors and they didn't bother her. So it
is with the fornicators of America. They have no moral sense to take a whiff of
their foul stinking sin that waffs up into G-d's nostrils and arouses his anger.
If they did it would arrouse their own remorse and shame and sorrow so that they
would flee from it and give it up. Let the marriage bed be holy and undefiled,
for fornicators G-d will judge, the Bible says. So what! So what! This is what
the fornicator says. We get a break with the IRS and the Welfare Department--who
says fornication is a crime that doesn't pay? We're angry at G-d and our
relatives but not ourselves. We will go on fornicating as long as Playboy
Magazine says it's okay--forever! So what!
But the Bible says, Already the axe is falling. Already the pit is dug for
the wicked. Already we are condemned with the world. Already Paymaster Mr. Sin
is paying his wage--death. Already the terror of Mt. Sinai is condemning the
sinner, spearing the fornicator in his tent. Already every mouth is stopped and
the whole world is brought guilty before Hashem. Already everlasting fire is
prepared for the devil and his angels and the Anti-Moshiach and his false
prophet. Already the offense of Adam has brought all Adam's sons condemnation.
Already, through one man's offense judgment has come to all men, resulting in
condemnation. Already, by one man Mr. Sin has made his entrance onto the world's
stage, and Mr. Death has been ushered in by Mr. Sin; and so Death has passed
upon all men, for all have sinned. There is none righteous, no not one. The man
who fornicates in his heart with the harlot is guilty with the man actually in
her bed.
In Numbers chapter 25, we find a Jewish man taking a Midianite woman into
his tent to "shack up" with her there--that's what we used to call fornication
before it became politically correct, "shacking up." Instead of making the woman
your wife, you make her your whore. So in Numbers chapter 25, only Phinhas the
son of Eleazar the son of Aaron the kohen was indignant. But G-d was indignant
and G-d's plague was at the door of their tent, ready to strike the fornicators.
G-d's wrath is ready to rain down on this nation of fornicators, from the White
House to the fraternity house, from the high to the low, from the top to the
bottom of our unclean land. Every pornographic, lecherous, unclean heathen, with
lust in deed or even in the imaginations of the evil heart stands condemned
already.
We look around the prison yard of this world and even today we are witnesses
in our nation of an arrogant population of fornicators and homosexuals and
pedophiles, brazenly bold, shamelessly parading their perversion and
lasciviousness. They are careless of the condemnation of the divine order from
on high, that those who do such things will receive the death penalty they
deserve. Millions of aborted fetuses litter the alleyways of the nation's lust.
With reprobate minds they excuse their wantoness. Even though their evil deeds
keep testifying against them, they remain uncontrite, unrepentant. They refuse
to foresake their sin. Instead of taking responsibility for their immoral
behavior, they illegitimately accuse others, even G-d, and this goes on year
after year, while they raise up an illegitimate generation of heathen offspring
like themselves. And the generations of evil-doers are all the while oblivious
that the death sentence has already come down from the Governor in Heaven. And
the death sentence says to you and to me one thing: condemned already! Mother
and illegitimate daughter, condemned already! Father and illegitimate son,
condemned already! The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
fornication and debauchery.
Jeremiah saw that a terrible burning firey Holocaust of Exile was coming on
his people and on Solomon's Temple. He saw the idolatry and spiritual harlotry
of his generation, which was very much like our own evil generation. It
overwhelmed him. He sat not in the assembly of the revelers and mockers. He
says, "I sat alone, because of thy hand, for thou hast filled me with
indignation." (Jeremiah 15:17) When will we be filled with indignation? Rav
Sha'ul says to the Kehillah in Corinth, "It is actually reported that there is
sexual immorality among you." And you're not aghast! No big thing! You're not
indignant! Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Malchut
Hashem (the Kingdom of G-d), know you not that fornicators will not inherit the
Kingdom of G-d? Do you not know that fornicators are condemned already? Do not
even eat with that man so that he will be ashamed and repent!
But you are proud! Shouldn't you have rather mourned? Do you not know to
shun the fornicator so that he will wake up and realize he is already condemned
to the fire of Gehinnom and must therefore flee fornication?
For Jeremiah the prophet, G-d's word was in his heart "like a burning fire
shut up in my bones, and I was weary of holding it in" (Jeremiah 20:9). And,
like the prophet Micah said, "Truly I am full of power by the spirit of the
L-rd, and of justice and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression and
to Israel his sin." (Micah 3:8). "The heart of man is deceitful above all else
and desperately wicked, who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9) "And all our
righteousness is like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). Sin is like a woman. Her feet
go down to death, her steps lay hold of hell. We are lured to her bed of
fornication by our own lusts, but in the end her lovers are in the depths of
hell and she is bitter as wormwood. And we are abandoned with our evil desires,
punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the L-rd. The wicked
shall be turned into hell, into shame and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:2).
Why will you die, O sinner? The sinners in Zion are afraid. Who can bear
everlasting burnings? Moshiach is coming! He will burn up the chaff with
unquenchable fire. Do you not know that Moshiach came the first time
mercifully to drink your portion of the wine of the wrath of G-d, the wrath you
deserve? He was "wounded for our transgressions," for our fornications and
uncleannesses. You hypocrite! Will you cry out, "G-d, have mercy on me a
sinner!" How can you resist the G-d who loves you and pursues you, in spite of
your uncleannesses? He wants to pull you out of the fire so that you will be
able to pull others out of the fire! But you are resisting him, not realizing
you are already condemned, already smoking, already at the point of igniting and
bursting into flames, condemned already. Do you not realize you are G-d's
building, but outside there is a sign in front saying, "Condemned." The smoke is
already pouring out of the windows. The smoke detectors are already sounding
their alarms. The fires of G-d's wrath are already igniting in you, around you.
Whoever has not believed is condemned already. Will you cry out for mercy, for
clemency, for forgiveness? Do you realize and admit that you are a "dead man
walking" no matter how religious or pious you try to be? Do you understand that
you deserve G-d's chastisement, and yet in the mercy of G-d, the "chastisement
that brought us peace was upon him (Moshiach)...it was the L-rd's will to bruise
him, and by knowledge of him My Righteous Servant (Moshiach) will make many
righteous." (Isaiah 53:5,10-11)
Do you know Moshiach? Have you been born from above in the Ruach Hakodesh
through knowing Moshiach? Will you admit that you too are a sinner in need of a
Savior and your heart will never know peace without him, because he took our
Gehinnom, the Just for the Unjust, to bring us to Hashem?
This is why we need Yehoshua HaMoshiach the Tzadik. He is our Moshi'a, our
Deliverer from the Coming Wrath. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but
whoever does not believe is condemned already. Amen.
When the definitive presentation of salvation and of escaping eternal doom
is presented, the word that gets the most attention is "grace" or "unmerited
favor resulting in mercy." The need for grace or "chesed" from on High becomes
evident when we see the depravity of the human condition, that mankind is like a
sleepwalker in such a profound stupor of ungodly darkness and blindness that it
can only be that the whole human race participates in the downward fall of a
primeval rebellion. This is Chet Kadmon, an all-pervasive human condition shared
from the Fall in the Beginning, just as we as human beings all share the old
depraved self we have from the Beginning, an old self that is unregenerate,
blind, proud, rebellious, sin-enslaved and subsequently doomed to an unavoidable
consequence: death's eternal spiritual separation from G-d. But even in Romans
chapter 5, the subject is grace, the grace of G-d, the abundance of grace, the
free gift of grace, and G-d's gift of righteousness in which we stand, having
been declared innocent already by the L-rd of the Last Judgment and having
obtained access to this grace by faith through the grace of the one man Moshiach
Adoneinu. However, this grace is not cheap; for repentance cannot be discounted.
Therefore, the sinner cannot continue self-seeking and mocking a forgiving,
merciful G-d, thinking, "As I sin even more, I make His Grace abound!" Or "Let's
do evil things so that G-d will make good come of it!" Never! The reason is that
grace is the kindness of G-d. And the kindness of G-d is meant to lead the
sinner from self-seeking to repentance, a real repentance that is inward and
spiritual and results in walking in love and forgiveness and not rebelliously
living for the old depraved self. The forgiven sinner cannot therefore turn from
a life of humble faith in order to fall back into pride and boasting against
unbelievers, even Jewish unbelievers; because the forgiven sinner himself stands
before G-d only through the continuing repentance of saving faith. And this
saving faith knows itself freed from sin's enslavement only in continuing
repentance under G-d's kindness and grace.
HOW TO RECEIVE MOSHIACH PERSONALLY Why not pray to receive salvation? Pray
this: Avinu Malkeinu, have mercy on me a sinner. I believe with perfect faith in
the prophet Isaiah's words, "Musar Shalomeinu Alav" ("The punishment, the
chastisement, that brought us peace was upon him"], that is, upon the Moshiach.
I admit that I need this, and I thank Hashem for the shalom of Moshiach's saving
kapparah. Because of this, I believe I am cleansed from my sin, which I now
freely confess, believing that G-d is faithful and just and will forgive my sin
and set me free from all unrighteousness. I confess without shame that Moshiach
Yeshua is Adoneinu, and I believe in my heart that G-d Avinu raised him from the
dead in Moshiach's Techiyas HaMesim (Resurrection of the Dead ones), according
to the Hebrew Bible. Since Avinu sent his personal Devar, his Word, Ben
HaElohim, as Moshiach, I for my part will obey Moshiach and his words in the
Holy Jewish Scriptures (Both Testaments) as these are opened to me by the
guidance of the Ruach HaKodesh. I promise to fellowship with other believers in
Moshiach and to work and pray with them in one accord to share my witness and
thus help to fulfill the Moshiach's Great Commission to Israel and the nations
of the whole world. B'Shem Moshiach, Amen.
