The advancement of the Besuras Hageulah is what Rav Shaul sees in how things in his life are turning out. Through the prayers of the kadoshim everything will work for good and result in deliverance through the Moshiach Goeleinu. Every beat of his heart is Moshiach and to depart and be WITH Moshiach in Gan Eden (like the baal teshuva ganav on the tree) makes death itself not a loss but a great bonanza of gain and profit. So life/death is win/win in Moshiach risen from the dead. Rav Shaul thinks, If I live I have fruitful work resulting in chayei olam through Moshiach's Besuras Hageulah, and if I die, death is not a morbid departure but actually stepping into the waiting arms of the one I will be caught up with then because I am caught up with him now, the Sar HaChayim...
