Tehillim 82 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

מִזְמ֗וֹר SDBH A Psalm לְאָ֫סָ֥ף SDBH of Asaph אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים SDBH G-d נִצָּ֥ב SDBH presides בַּעֲדַת־ SDBH assembly אֵ֑ל SDBH in the divine בְּקֶ֖רֶב SDBH among אֱלֹהִ֣ים SDBH the g-ds יִשְׁפֹּֽט׃ SDBH He renders judgment

(Mizmor of Asaph.) Elohim standeth in the Adat El; He judgeth among the elohim [See Ps 82:6 and Yn 10:34].

עַד־ SDBH How long מָתַ֥י SDBH . . . תִּשְׁפְּטוּ־ SDBH will you judge עָ֑וֶל SDBH unjustly וּפְנֵ֥י and show partiality רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים SDBH to the wicked תִּשְׂאוּ־ SDBH . . . סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

Ad mosai (How long) will ye judge unjustly, and show partiality to the resha'im? Selah.

שִׁפְטוּ־ SDBH Defend the cause דַ֥ל SDBH of the weak וְיָת֑וֹם SDBH and fatherless עָנִ֖י SDBH of the afflicted וָרָ֣שׁ SDBH and oppressed הַצְדִּֽיקוּ׃ SDBH uphold the rights

Defend the poor and yatom (fatherless); do justice to the oni (afflicted) and needy.

פַּלְּטוּ־ SDBH Rescue דַ֥ל SDBH the weak וְאֶבְי֑וֹן SDBH and needy מִיַּ֖ד SDBH from the hand רְשָׁעִ֣ים SDBH of the wicked הַצִּֽילוּ׃ SDBH save them

Deliver the poor and needy; rid them out of the yad resha'im.

לֹ֤א SDBH They do not יָֽדְע֨וּ׀ SDBH know וְלֹ֥א SDBH . . . יָבִ֗ינוּ SDBH or understand בַּחֲשֵׁכָ֥ה SDBH in the darkness יִתְהַלָּ֑כוּ SDBH they wander יִ֝מּ֗וֹטוּ SDBH are shaken כָּל־ all מ֥וֹסְדֵי SDBH the foundations אָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH of the earth

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in choshech; all the foundations of ha'aretz are shaken.

אֲ‍ֽנִי־ SDBH I אָ֭מַרְתִּי SDBH have said אֱלֹהִ֣ים SDBH are g-ds אַתֶּ֑ם SDBH You וּבְנֵ֖י SDBH sons עֶלְי֣וֹן SDBH of the Most High כֻּלְּכֶֽם׃ you are all

I have said, elohim ye are; and all of you are Bnei HaElyon.

אָ֭כֵן SDBH But כְּאָדָ֣ם SDBH like mortals תְּמוּת֑וּן SDBH you will die וּכְאַחַ֖ד SDBH and like הַשָּׂרִ֣ים SDBH rulers תִּפֹּֽלוּ׃ SDBH you will fall

But ye shall die like adam, and fall like one of the sarim (princes).

קוּמָ֣ה SDBH Arise אֱ֭לֹהִים SDBH O G-d שָׁפְטָ֣ה SDBH judge הָאָ֑רֶץ SDBH the earth כִּֽי־ for אַתָּ֥ה SDBH are Your תִ֝נְחַ֗ל SDBH inheritance בְּכָל־ all הַגּוֹיִֽם׃ SDBH the nations

Arise, Elohim, judge ha'aretz; for Thou shalt inherit kol HaGoyim.
