שְֽׂאוּ־ SDBH Lift up זִ֭מְרָה SDBH a song וּתְנוּ־ strike תֹ֑ף SDBH the tambourine כִּנּ֖וֹר SDBH lyre נָעִ֣ים SDBH play the sweet-sounding עִם־ and נָֽבֶל׃ SDBH harp
Begin a song, and bring hither the tambourine, the pleasant kinnor (harp) with the nevel (lyre).

תִּקְע֣וּ SDBH Sound בַחֹ֣דֶשׁ SDBH at the New Moon שׁוֹפָ֑ר SDBH the ram’s horn בַּ֝כֵּ֗סֶה SDBH [and] at the full moon לְי֣וֹם SDBH on the day חַגֵּֽנוּ׃ SDBH of our Feast
Blow the shofar at Rosh Chodesh, at the full moon, on Yom Chageinu.
For this was a chok for Yisroel, and a mishpat of the Elohei Ya'akov.

עֵ֤דוּת׀ SDBH as a testimony בִּֽיה֘וֹסֵ֤ף SDBH for Joseph שָׂמ֗וֹ SDBH He ordained it בְּ֭צֵאתוֹ SDBH when he went out עַל־ over אֶ֣רֶץ SDBH the land מִצְרָ֑יִם SDBH of Egypt שְׂפַ֖ת SDBH language לֹא־ SDBH an unfamiliar יָדַ֣עְתִּי SDBH . . . אֶשְׁמָֽע׃ SDBH [where] I heard
This He ordained in Yosef for an edut, when He went out over Eretz Mitzrayim; where a language of one not known did I hear.
I removed his shekhem (shoulder) from the burden; his hands were delivered from the basket.

בַּצָּרָ֥ה SDBH in distress קָרָ֗אתָ SDBH You called out וָאֲחַ֫לְּצֶ֥ךָּ SDBH and I rescued you אֶ֭עֶנְךָ SDBH I answered בְּסֵ֣תֶר SDBH you from the cloud רַ֑עַם SDBH of thunder אֶבְחָֽנְךָ֨ SDBH I tested עַל־ you at מֵ֖י SDBH the waters מְרִיבָ֣ה SDBH of Meribah סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah
In tzoros thou calledst, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the seter ra'am (secret place of thunder); I tested thee at the waters of Merivah. Selah.

שְׁמַ֣ע SDBH Hear עַ֭מִּי SDBH O My people וְאָעִ֣ידָה SDBH and I will warn בָּ֑ךְ you יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל SDBH O Israel אִם־ SDBH if only תִּֽשְׁמַֽע־ SDBH you would listen לִֽי׃ to Me
Shema, O My people, and I will admonish thee; O Yisroel, if thou wilt pay heed unto Me;

לֹֽא־ SDBH There must be no יִהְיֶ֣ה . . . בְ֭ךָ among you אֵ֣ל SDBH g-d זָ֑ר SDBH strange וְלֹ֥א SDBH nor shall you תִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה SDBH bow לְאֵ֣ל SDBH g-d נֵכָֽר׃ SDBH to a foreign
There shall no el zar (strange, foreign g-d) be among thee; neither shalt thou worship any el nechar (foreign g- d).
I am Hashem Eloheicha Who brought thee out of Eretz Mitzrayim; open thy mouth wide, I will fill it.

וְלֹא־ SDBH would not שָׁמַ֣ע SDBH listen to Me עַמִּ֣י SDBH But My people לְקוֹלִ֑י SDBH . . . וְ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל SDBH and Israel לֹא־ SDBH would not אָ֥בָה SDBH obey לִֽי׃ Me
But My people would not pay heed to My voice; and Yisroel would have none of Me.
So I gave them up unto their own hearts' sherirut (stubbornness); and they walked in their own mo'atzot (counsels).

ל֗וּ If only עַ֭מִּי SDBH My people שֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ SDBH would listen לִ֑י to Me יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל SDBH if Israel בִּדְרָכַ֥י SDBH My ways יְהַלֵּֽכוּ׃ SDBH would follow
Oh that My people had paid heed unto Me, and Yisroel had walked in My ways!
I should soon have subdued their oyevim and turned My Yad (hand, power) against their adversaries.

מְשַׂנְאֵ֣י SDBH Those who hate יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יְכַֽחֲשׁוּ־ SDBH would feign obedience ל֑וֹ וִיהִ֖י would last forever עִתָּ֣ם SDBH and their doom לְעוֹלָֽם׃ SDBH . . .
The haters of Hashem should have cringed before Him; their et (time, fate, punishment) endures l'olam.
He would have fed them also with the finest of the chittah (wheat); and with devash (honey) from the Tzur would I have satisfied thee.
