זְכֹ֤ר SDBH Remember עֲדָתְךָ֨׀ SDBH Your congregation קָ֘נִ֤יתָ SDBH which You purchased קֶּ֗דֶם SDBH long ago גָּ֭אַלְתָּ SDBH and redeemed שֵׁ֣בֶט SDBH as the tribe נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ SDBH of Your inheritance הַר־ SDBH Mount צִ֝יּ֗וֹן SDBH Zion זֶ֤ה׀ SDBH . . . שָׁכַ֬נְתָּ SDBH where You dwell בּֽוֹ׃
Remember Thy Edah (congregation), which Thou hast purchased of old; the shevet (tribe) of Thine nachalah, which Thou hast redeemed: this Har Tziyon, wherein Thou hast dwelt.

הָרִ֣ימָה SDBH Turn פְ֭עָמֶיךָ SDBH Your steps לְמַשֻּׁא֣וֹת SDBH ruins נֶ֑צַח SDBH to the everlasting כָּל־ to everything הֵרַ֖ע SDBH has destroyed אוֹיֵ֣ב SDBH the enemy בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ SDBH in the sanctuary
Lift up Thy footsteps unto the mashu'ot netzach (perpetual ruins); even all that the oyev hath done wickedly in the Kodesh [the Beis HaMikdash].

שָׁאֲג֣וּ SDBH have roared צֹ֭רְרֶיךָ SDBH Your foes בְּקֶ֣רֶב SDBH within מוֹעֲדֶ֑ךָ SDBH Your meeting place שָׂ֖מוּ SDBH they have unfurled אוֹתֹתָ֣ם SDBH their banners אֹתֽוֹת׃ SDBH as signs
Thine enemies roar in the midst of Thy Mo'ed (place of meeting); they set up their banners for otot (signs, i.e., their heathen insignia).
It had been as though one lifted up kardumim (axes) upon the thicket of etz.
But now they break down the carved panels [of the Beis HaMikdash] at once with hammers and chisels.

שִׁלְח֣וּ SDBH They have burned בָ֭אֵשׁ SDBH . . . מִקְדָּשֶׁ֑ךָ SDBH Your sanctuary לָ֝אָ֗רֶץ SDBH to the ground חִלְּל֥וּ SDBH they have defiled מִֽשְׁכַּן־ SDBH the dwelling place שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ SDBH of Your Name
They have set ablaze Thy Mikdash, burning it to the ground; they have brought chillul to the Mishkan Shemecha (the dwelling place of Thy Name).

אָמְר֣וּ SDBH They said בְ֭לִבָּם SDBH in their hearts נִינָ֣ם SDBH We will crush them יָ֑חַד SDBH completely שָׂרְפ֖וּ SDBH They burned down כָל־ every מוֹעֲדֵי־ SDBH place אֵ֣ל SDBH where G-d met us בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH in the land
They said in their hearts, Let us crush them altogether; they have burned up all the Mo'adei El in HaAretz.

אֽוֹתֹתֵ֗ינוּ SDBH signs לֹ֥א SDBH There are no רָ֫אִ֥ינוּ SDBH for us to see אֵֽין־ SDBH There is no ע֥וֹד longer נָבִ֑יא SDBH any prophet וְלֹֽא־ SDBH And none אִ֝תָּ֗נוּ SDBH of us יֹדֵ֥עַ SDBH knows עַד־ SDBH how long מָֽה׃ SDBH this will last
We see not our otot (signs); there is no longer any navi; neither is there among us any that knoweth ad mah (until when).
O Elohim ad mosai, (how long) shall the adversary revile? Shall the oyev (enemy) blaspheme Thy Shem lanetzach (forever)?

Why withdrawest Thou Thy Yad, even Thy Yamin (Right Hand)? Take it out of Thy Kheyk (bosom) and destroy [them].
For Elohim is my Melech mikedem (from of old), working Yeshuah (salvation) in the midst of Ha'Aretz.
Thou didst divide the yam by Thy oz (power); Thou didst break the heads of the sea serpents in the waters.
Thou didst break the head of Leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be ma'akhal (food) to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
Thou didst break open the fountain and the flood; Thou driedst up mighty naharot (rivers).

לְךָ֣ is Yours י֭וֹם SDBH The day אַף־ SDBH and also לְךָ֥ לָ֑יְלָה SDBH the night אַתָּ֥ה SDBH You הֲ֝כִינ֗וֹתָ SDBH established מָא֥וֹר SDBH the moon וָשָֽׁמֶשׁ׃ SDBH and the sun
The yom is Thine, the lailah also is Thine; Thou hast prepared the ma'ohr (luminary, moon) and the shemesh.
Thou hast set all the boundaries of Eretz; Thou hast made kayitz (summer) and choref (winter).

זְכָר־ SDBH Remember זֹ֗את SDBH how א֭וֹיֵב SDBH the enemy חֵרֵ֣ף׀ SDBH has mocked You יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְעַ֥ם SDBH people נָ֝בָ֗ל SDBH how a foolish נִֽאֲצ֥וּ SDBH has spurned שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ SDBH Your name
Remember this, that the oyev (enemy) hath reproached Hashem, and that the am naval (foolish people) have blasphemed Shimcha.
O deliver not the nefesh of Thy turtledove unto the wild beast; forget not the life of Thy aniyim (poor) lanetzach (forever).
Have regard unto the Brit (covenant); for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of chamas.
O let not the oppressed return in shame; let the oni and evyon praise Thy Shem.
Arise, O Elohim, fight for Thine Own cause; remember how the naval (foolish man) revileth Thee kol hayom.

אַל־ Do not תִּ֭שְׁכַּח SDBH disregard ק֣וֹל SDBH the clamor צֹרְרֶ֑יךָ SDBH of Your adversaries שְׁא֥וֹן SDBH the uproar קָ֝מֶ֗יךָ SDBH of Your enemies עֹלֶ֥ה SDBH that ascends תָמִֽיד׃ SDBH continually
Forget not the kol (voice) of Thine enemies, the tumult of those against Thee that rises up tamid (continually). [T.N. CF LK 2:23-24 AND PS 74:19 REMEMBERING THAT THE TURTLEDOVE WAS THE SACRIFICE OF THE POOR, WHICH MOSHIACH WOULD BE, NOT A RICH MAN BUT ANI, ACCORDING TO ZECH 9:9.]
