Tehillim 46 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ SDBH For the choirmaster לִבְנֵי־ SDBH Of the sons קֹ֑רַח SDBH of Korah עַֽל־ According to עֲלָמ֥וֹת SDBH Alamoth שִֽׁיר׃ SDBH A song אֱלֹהִ֣ים SDBH G-d לָ֭נוּ is our מַחֲסֶ֣ה SDBH refuge וָעֹ֑ז SDBH and strength עֶזְרָ֥ה SDBH help בְ֝צָר֗וֹת SDBH in times of trouble נִמְצָ֥א SDBH an ever-present מְאֹֽד׃ . . .

(For the one directing. Of the Bnei Korach. Al alamot [after the manner of virgins, i.e., in the treble]. Shir.) Elohim is our refuge and strength, a very present help in tzoros.

עַל־ Therefore כֵּ֣ן SDBH . . . לֹא־ SDBH we will not נִ֭ירָא SDBH fear בְּהָמִ֣יר SDBH is transformed אָ֑רֶץ SDBH though the earth וּבְמ֥וֹט SDBH are toppled הָ֝רִ֗ים SDBH and the mountains בְּלֵ֣ב SDBH into the depths יַמִּֽים׃ SDBH of the seas

Therefore we will not fear, though eretz be shaken, and though the harim (mountains) fall into the lev yamim (heart of the seas);

יֶהֱמ֣וּ SDBH roar יֶחְמְר֣וּ SDBH and foam מֵימָ֑יו SDBH though their waters יִֽרְעֲשֽׁוּ־ SDBH quake הָרִ֖ים SDBH and the mountains בְּגַאֲוָת֣וֹ SDBH in the surge סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

Though the mayim thereof roar and be troubled, though the harim shake with the surging thereof. Selah.

נָהָ֗ר SDBH There is a river פְּלָגָ֗יו SDBH whose streams יְשַׂמְּח֥וּ SDBH delight עִיר־ SDBH the city אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH of G-d קְ֝דֹ֗שׁ SDBH the holy [place where] מִשְׁכְּנֵ֥י SDBH dwells עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ SDBH the Most High

There is a nahar (river), the streams whereof shall make glad the Ir Elohim, the Kedosh Mishkenei Elyon (the holy dwelling of the Most High).

אֱלֹהִ֣ים SDBH G-d בְּ֭קִרְבָּהּ SDBH is within her בַּל־ SDBH she will not תִּמּ֑וֹט SDBH be moved יַעְזְרֶ֥הָ SDBH will help her אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים SDBH G-d לִפְנ֥וֹת SDBH dawns בֹּֽקֶר׃ SDBH when morning

Elohim is in the midst of it [i.e., the Ir Elohim}; it shall not be moved; Elohim shall help it at early boker.

הָמ֣וּ SDBH rage ג֭וֹיִם SDBH Nations מָ֣טוּ SDBH crumble מַמְלָכ֑וֹת SDBH kingdoms נָתַ֥ן when He lifts בְּ֝קוֹל֗וֹ SDBH His voice תָּמ֥וּג SDBH melts אָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH the earth

The Goyim raged, the kingdoms totter; He uttered His voice, eretz melted.

יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi צְבָא֣וֹת SDBH of Hosts עִמָּ֑נוּ is with us מִשְׂגָּֽב־ SDBH is our fortress לָ֝נוּ אֱלֹהֵ֖י SDBH the G-d יַעֲקֹ֣ב SDBH of Jacob סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

Hashem Tzva'os is with us; Elohei Ya'akov is our stronghold. Selah.

לְֽכוּ־ SDBH Come חֲ֭זוּ SDBH see מִפְעֲל֣וֹת SDBH the works יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH who שָׂ֖ם SDBH brings שַׁמּ֣וֹת SDBH devastation בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH upon the earth

Come, behold the works of Hashem, what desolations He hath made in ha'aretz.

מַשְׁבִּ֥ית SDBH to cease מִלְחָמוֹת֮ SDBH He makes wars עַד־ SDBH throughout קְצֵ֪ה SDBH . . . הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ SDBH the earth קֶ֣שֶׁת SDBH the bow יְ֭שַׁבֵּר SDBH He breaks וְקִצֵּ֣ץ SDBH and shatters חֲנִ֑ית SDBH the spear עֲ֝גָל֗וֹת SDBH the shields יִשְׂרֹ֥ף SDBH He burns בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ SDBH in the fire

He maketh milchamot to cease unto the end of ha'aretz; He breaketh the keshet (bow), and cutteth the khanit (spear); He burneth the chariots in the eish.

הַרְפּ֣וּ SDBH Be still וּ֭דְעוּ SDBH and know כִּי־ that אָנֹכִ֣י SDBH I אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH am G-d אָר֥וּם SDBH I will be exalted בַּ֝גּוֹיִ֗ם SDBH among the nations אָר֥וּם SDBH I will be exalted בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH over the earth

Be still, and know that I am Elohim: I will be exalted among the Goyim, I will be exalted in ha'aretz.
