Tehillim 138 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לְדָוִ֨ד׀ SDBH Of David אוֹדְךָ֥ SDBH I give You thanks בְכָל־ with all לִבִּ֑י SDBH my heart נֶ֖גֶד before אֱלֹהִ֣ים SDBH the g-ds אֲזַמְּרֶֽךָּ׃ SDBH I sing Your praises

(Of Dovid) I will thank Thee with my whole lev; before the elohim will I sing praise unto Thee.

אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֨ה SDBH I bow down אֶל־ toward הֵיכַ֪ל SDBH temple קָדְשְׁךָ֡ SDBH Your holy וְא֘וֹדֶ֤ה SDBH and give thanks אֶת־ SDBH - שְׁמֶ֗ךָ SDBH to Your name עַל־ for חַסְדְּךָ֥ SDBH Your loving devotion וְעַל־ and אֲמִתֶּ֑ךָ SDBH Your faithfulness כִּֽי־ You הִגְדַּ֥לְתָּ SDBH have exalted עַל־ above כָּל־ all else שִׁ֝מְךָ֗ SDBH Your name אִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃ SDBH and Your word

I will worship toward Thy Heikhal Kodesh, and praise Shmecha (Thy Name) for Thy chesed and for Thy emes; for Thou hast magnified Thy Word above Kol Shimcha (all Thy Name; Yn 1:1, 14 OJBC).

בְּי֣וֹם SDBH On the day קָ֭רָֽאתִי SDBH I called וַֽתַּעֲנֵ֑נִי SDBH You answered me תַּרְהִבֵ֖נִי SDBH You emboldened me בְנַפְשִׁ֣י SDBH my soul עֹֽז׃ SDBH [and] strengthened

In the day when I called out, Thou answeredst me, and madest me bold with oz (strength) in my nefesh.

יוֹד֣וּךָ SDBH will give You thanks יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כָּל־ All מַלְכֵי־ SDBH the kings אָ֑רֶץ SDBH of the earth כִּ֥י when שָׁ֝מְע֗וּ SDBH they hear אִמְרֵי־ SDBH the words פִֽיךָ׃ SDBH of Your mouth

Kol Malchei Aretz shall praise Thee, Hashem, when they hear the words of Thy mouth.

וְ֭יָשִׁירוּ SDBH They will sing בְּדַרְכֵ֣י SDBH of the ways יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּ֥י for גָ֝ד֗וֹל SDBH is great כְּב֣וֹד SDBH the glory יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

Yes, they shall sing of the Darkhei Hashem; for gadol is the Kavod Hashem.

כִּי־ Though רָ֣ם SDBH is on high יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְשָׁפָ֣ל SDBH to the lowly יִרְאֶ֑ה SDBH He attends וְ֝גָבֹ֗הַּ SDBH but the proud מִמֶּרְחָ֥ק SDBH from afar יְיֵדָֽע׃ SDBH He knows

Though Hashem be on high, yet He looks upon the lowly; but the proud He knoweth from afar.

אִם־ SDBH If אֵלֵ֤ךְ׀ SDBH I walk בְּקֶ֥רֶב SDBH in the midst צָרָ֗ה SDBH of trouble תְּחַ֫יֵּ֥נִי SDBH You preserve me עַ֤ל from אַ֣ף SDBH the anger אֹ֭יְבַי SDBH of my foes תִּשְׁלַ֣ח SDBH You extend יָדֶ֑ךָ SDBH Your hand וְת֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי SDBH saves me יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ SDBH and Your right hand

Though I walk in the midst of tzoros, Thou wilt preserve me alive; Thou shalt stretch forth Thine yad against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy Yamin (Right Hand) shall save me.

יְהוָה֮ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִגְמֹ֪ר SDBH will fulfill בַּ֫עֲדִ֥י SDBH [His purpose] for me יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi חַסְדְּךָ֣ SDBH Your loving devotion לְעוֹלָ֑ם SDBH endures forever מַעֲשֵׂ֖י SDBH the works יָדֶ֣יךָ SDBH of Your hands אַל־ do not תֶּֽרֶף׃ SDBH abandon

Hashem will fulfill that which concerneth me; Thy chesed, O Hashem, endureth l'olam; forsake not the works of Thine own yadayim.
