שִׁ֗יר SDBH A song לַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת SDBH of ascents אֶשָּׂ֣א SDBH I lift up עֵ֭ינַי SDBH my eyes אֶל־ to הֶהָרִ֑ים SDBH the hills מֵ֝אַ֗יִן SDBH From where יָבֹ֥א SDBH come עֶזְרִֽי׃ SDBH does my help

(Shir HaMa'alot) I will lift up mine eyes unto the harim (hills), from whence cometh ezri (my help).

עֶ֭זְרִי SDBH My help מֵעִ֣ם comes from יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עֹ֝שֵׂ֗ה SDBH the Maker שָׁמַ֥יִם SDBH of heaven וָאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH and earth

Ezri (my help) cometh from Hashem, Oseh Shomayim v'Aretz.

אַל־ He will not יִתֵּ֣ן allow לַמּ֣וֹט SDBH to slip רַגְלֶ֑ךָ SDBH your foot אַל־ will not יָ֝נ֗וּם SDBH slumber שֹֽׁמְרֶֽךָ׃ SDBH your Protector

He will not allow thy regel to slip; He that is shomer over thee will not slumber.

הִנֵּ֣ה Behold לֹֽא־ SDBH will neither יָ֭נוּם SDBH slumber וְלֹ֣א SDBH nor יִישָׁ֑ן SDBH sleep שׁוֹמֵ֣ר SDBH the Protector יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ SDBH of Israel

Hinei, He that is shomer over Yisroel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi שֹׁמְרֶ֑ךָ SDBH [is] your keeper יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi צִ֝לְּךָ֗ SDBH [is] the shade עַל־ on יַ֥ד SDBH hand יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ SDBH your right

Hashem is the One shomer over thee; Hashem is thy shade upon thy right hand.

יוֹמָ֗ם SDBH you by day הַשֶּׁ֥מֶשׁ SDBH The sun לֹֽא־ SDBH will not יַכֶּ֗כָּה SDBH strike וְיָרֵ֥חַ SDBH nor the moon בַּלָּֽיְלָה׃ SDBH by night

The shemesh shall not strike thee by day, nor the yarei'ach by night.

יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִשְׁמָרְךָ֥ SDBH will guard you מִכָּל־ from all רָ֑ע SDBH evil יִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר SDBH He will preserve אֶת־ SDBH - נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ SDBH your soul

Hashem shall preserve thee from kol rah; He shall preserve thy nefesh.

יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִשְׁמָר־ SDBH will watch over צֵאתְךָ֥ SDBH and going וּבוֹאֶ֑ךָ SDBH your coming מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה SDBH both now וְעַד־ SDBH and forevermore עוֹלָֽם׃ SDBH . . .

Hashem shall be shomer over thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even v'ad olam.
