Tehillim 112 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

הַ֥לְלוּ SDBH Hallelujah יָ֨הּ׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אַשְׁרֵי־ SDBH Blessed אִ֭ישׁ SDBH is the man יָרֵ֣א SDBH who fears אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בְּ֝מִצְוֺתָ֗יו SDBH in His commandments חָפֵ֥ץ SDBH delights מְאֹֽד׃ who greatly

Praise Hashem. Ashrei is the ish that feareth Hashem, that delighteth greatly in His mitzvot.

גִּבּ֣וֹר SDBH mighty בָּ֭אָרֶץ SDBH in the land יִהְיֶ֣ה will be זַרְע֑וֹ SDBH His descendants דּ֭וֹר SDBH the generation יְשָׁרִ֣ים SDBH of the upright יְבֹרָֽךְ׃ SDBH will be blessed

His zera shall be gibbor ba'aretz; the dor (generation) of the Yesharim (upright ones) shall be blessed.

הוֹן־ SDBH Wealth וָעֹ֥שֶׁר SDBH and riches בְּבֵית֑וֹ SDBH are in his house וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ SDBH and his righteousness עֹמֶ֥דֶת SDBH endures לָעַֽד׃ SDBH forever

Wealth and osher (riches) shall be in his bais; and his tzedakah endureth forever.

זָ֘רַ֤ח SDBH dawns בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ SDBH in the darkness א֭וֹר SDBH Light לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים SDBH for the upright חַנּ֖וּן SDBH for the gracious וְרַח֣וּם SDBH compassionate וְצַדִּֽיק׃ SDBH and righteous

Unto the Yesharim (upright ones) there ariseth ohr in the choshech; he is channun, and rachum, and tzaddik.

טֽוֹב־ SDBH It is well אִ֭ישׁ SDBH with the man חוֹנֵ֣ן SDBH who is generous וּמַלְוֶ֑ה SDBH and lends freely יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל SDBH are guided דְּבָרָ֣יו SDBH whose affairs בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ SDBH by justice

A tov ish is generous, and lendeth; he will guide his affairs with mishpat.

כִּֽי־ Surely לְעוֹלָ֥ם SDBH he will never לֹא־ SDBH . . . יִמּ֑וֹט SDBH be shaken לְזֵ֥כֶר SDBH remembered ע֝וֹלָ֗ם SDBH forever יִהְיֶ֥ה will be צַדִּֽיק׃ SDBH the righteous man

Surely he shall never falter; the tzaddik shall be in remembrance olam (forever).

מִשְּׁמוּעָ֣ה SDBH news רָ֭עָה SDBH bad לֹ֣א SDBH He does not יִירָ֑א SDBH fear נָכ֥וֹן SDBH is steadfast לִ֝בּ֗וֹ SDBH his heart בָּטֻ֥חַ SDBH trusting בַּיהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

He shall not be afraid of mishmu'ah ra'ah (news of misfortune, evil tidings); his lev is nachon (steadfast), trusting in Hashem.

סָמ֣וּךְ SDBH is assured לִ֭בּוֹ SDBH His heart לֹ֣א SDBH he does not יִירָ֑א SDBH fear עַ֖ד SDBH until אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH יִרְאֶ֣ה SDBH he looks in triumph בְצָרָֽיו׃ SDBH on his foes

His lev is samuch (sustained), he shall not be afraid, until he look in triumph upon his foes.

פִּזַּ֤ר׀ SDBH He has scattered abroad נָ֘תַ֤ן his gifts לָאֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים SDBH to the poor צִ֭דְקָתוֹ SDBH his righteousness עֹמֶ֣דֶת SDBH endures לָעַ֑ד SDBH forever קַ֝רְנ֗וֹ SDBH his horn תָּר֥וּם SDBH will be lifted high בְּכָבֽוֹד׃ SDBH in honor

He hath contributed freely, he hath given to the evyonim (needy); his tzedakah endureth forever; his keren shall be lifted up in kavod.

רָ֘שָׁ֤ע SDBH The wicked man יִרְאֶ֨ה׀ SDBH will see וְכָעָ֗ס SDBH and be grieved שִׁנָּ֣יו SDBH his teeth יַחֲרֹ֣ק SDBH he will gnash וְנָמָ֑ס SDBH and waste away תַּאֲוַ֖ת SDBH the desires רְשָׁעִ֣ים SDBH of the wicked תֹּאבֵֽד׃ SDBH will perish

The rasha shall see it, and be incensed; he shall gnash his teeth, and waste away; the ta'avot resha'im (desire of the wicked ones) shall come to nothing.
