Yeshayah 62 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לְמַ֤עַן sake צִיּוֹן֙ SDBH For Zion’s לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֶחֱשֶׁ֔ה SDBH keep silent וּלְמַ֥עַן sake יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם SDBH and for Jerusalem’s לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֶשְׁק֑וֹט SDBH keep still עַד־ SDBH until יֵצֵ֤א SDBH shines כַנֹּ֙גַהּ֙ SDBH like a bright light צִדְקָ֔הּ SDBH her righteousness וִישׁוּעָתָ֖הּ SDBH her salvation כְּלַפִּ֥יד SDBH torch יִבְעָֽר׃ SDBH like a blazing

For the sake of Tziyon will I not hold my peace and for the sake of Yerushalayim I will not remain quiet, until her tzedek go forth like nogah (brightness), and her Yeshuah (Salvation) like a blazing lapid (torch),

וְרָא֤וּ SDBH will see גוֹיִם֙ SDBH Nations צִדְקֵ֔ךְ SDBH your righteousness וְכָל־ and all מְלָכִ֖ים SDBH kings כְּבוֹדֵ֑ךְ SDBH your glory וְקֹ֤רָא SDBH You will be called לָךְ֙ by שֵׁ֣ם SDBH name חָדָ֔שׁ SDBH a new אֲשֶׁ֛ר SDBH that פִּ֥י SDBH the mouth יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִקֳּבֶֽנּוּ׃ SDBH will bestow

And the Goyim shall see thy tzedek, and kol melachim thy kavod; and thou shalt be called by a shem chadash, which the mouth of Hashem shall designate.

וְהָיִ֛יתְ You will be עֲטֶ֥רֶת SDBH a crown תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת SDBH of glory בְּיַד־ SDBH in the hand יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וּצְנוֹף SDBH diadem מְלוּכָ֖ה SDBH a royal בְּכַף־ SDBH in the palm אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ SDBH of your G-d

Thou shalt also be an ateret tiferet in the Yad Hashem, and a tzanif melukhah (royal turban, diadem) in the palm of thy G-d.

לֹֽא־ SDBH No יֵאָמֵר֩ SDBH will you be called לָ֨ךְ ע֜וֹד longer עֲזוּבָ֗ה SDBH Forsaken וּלְאַרְצֵךְ֙ SDBH nor your land לֹא־ SDBH . . . יֵאָמֵ֥ר SDBH named עוֹד֙ . . . שְׁמָמָ֔ה SDBH Desolate כִּ֣י but לָ֗ךְ you יִקָּרֵא֙ SDBH will be called חֶפְצִי־ SDBH vvv בָ֔הּ SDBH Hephzibah וּלְאַרְצֵ֖ךְ SDBH and your land בְּעוּלָ֑ה SDBH Beulah כִּֽי־ for חָפֵ֤ץ SDBH will take delight יְהוָה֙ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בָּ֔ךְ in you וְאַרְצֵ֖ךְ SDBH and your land תִּבָּעֵֽל׃ SDBH will be His bride

Of thee it shalt no more be said, Azuvah (Forsaken); neither of thy land shall it any more be said, Shemameh (Desolate); but thou shalt be called Cheftzi-Vah, (My Delight is in her) and thy land Beulah (Married): for Hashem delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

כִּֽי־ For יִבְעַ֤ל SDBH marries בָּחוּר֙ SDBH as a young man בְּתוּלָ֔ה SDBH a young woman יִבְעָל֖וּךְ SDBH will marry you בָּנָ֑יִךְ SDBH so your sons וּמְשׂ֤וֹשׂ SDBH rejoices חָתָן֙ SDBH and as a bridegroom עַל־ over כַּלָּ֔ה SDBH his bride יָשִׂ֥ישׂ SDBH will rejoice עָלַ֖יִךְ over you אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ SDBH so your G-d

For as a bochur marrieth a betulah, so shall thy banim marry thee; and as the choson rejoiceth over the kallah, so shall thy G-d rejoice over thee.

עַל־ On חוֹמֹתַ֣יִךְ SDBH your walls יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם SDBH O Jerusalem הִפְקַ֙דְתִּי֙ SDBH I have posted שֹֽׁמְרִ֔ים SDBH watchmen כָּל־ day הַיּ֧וֹם SDBH . . . וְכָל־ or night הַלַּ֛יְלָה SDBH . . . תָּמִ֖יד SDBH they will never לֹ֣א SDBH . . . יֶחֱשׁ֑וּ SDBH be silent הַמַּזְכִּרִים֙ SDBH You who call אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אַל־ shall take no דֳּמִ֖י SDBH rest לָכֶֽם׃ for yourselves

I have set shomrim upon thy chomot, O Yerushalayim, which shall never hold their peace yom nor lailah; ye that remind Hashem, keep not silence,

וְאַֽל־ nor תִּתְּנ֥וּ give דֳמִ֖י SDBH any rest ל֑וֹ Him עַד־ SDBH until יְכוֹנֵ֞ן SDBH He establishes וְעַד־ SDBH . . . יָשִׂ֧ים SDBH and makes her אֶת־ SDBH - יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֛ם SDBH Jerusalem תְּהִלָּ֖ה SDBH the praise בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH of the earth

And give Him no rest, until He establish, and until He make Yerushalayim a tehillah (praise) in Ha'Aretz.

נִשְׁבַּ֧ע SDBH has sworn יְהוָ֛ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בִּֽימִינ֖וֹ SDBH by His right hand וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ SDBH arm עֻזּ֑וֹ SDBH and by His mighty אִם־ SDBH Never אֶתֵּן֩ will I give אֶת־ SDBH - דְּגָנֵ֨ךְ SDBH your grain ע֤וֹד again מַֽאֲכָל֙ SDBH for food לְאֹ֣יְבַ֔יִךְ SDBH to your enemies וְאִם־ SDBH nor will יִשְׁתּ֤וּ SDBH drink בְנֵֽי־ SDBH foreigners נֵכָר֙ SDBH . . . תִּֽירוֹשֵׁ֔ךְ SDBH the new wine אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH for which יָגַ֖עַתְּ SDBH you have toiled בּֽוֹ׃

Hashem hath sworn by His yad yamin, and by the zero'a of His oz (might), Surely I will no more give thy dagan (grain) to be food for thine oyevim; and the bnei nekhar shall not drink thy tirosh, for the which thou hast toiled;

כִּ֤י For מְאַסְפָיו֙ SDBH those who harvest [grain] יֹאכְלֻ֔הוּ SDBH will eat it וְהִֽלְל֖וּ SDBH and praise אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וּֽמְקַבְּצָ֥יו SDBH and those who gather [grapes] יִשְׁתֻּ֖הוּ SDBH will drink the wine בְּחַצְר֥וֹת SDBH courts קָדְשִֽׁי׃ס SDBH in My holy

But they that have harvested it shall eat it, and praise Hashem; and they that have gathered it in shall drink it in the khatzerot (courtyards) of My Kodesh (Holy Place).

עִבְר֤וּ SDBH Go out עִבְרוּ֙ SDBH go out בַּשְּׁעָרִ֔ים SDBH through the gates פַּנּ֖וּ SDBH prepare דֶּ֣רֶךְ SDBH the way הָעָ֑ם SDBH for the people סֹ֣לּוּ SDBH Build it up סֹ֤לּוּ SDBH build up הַֽמְסִלָּה֙ SDBH the highway סַקְּל֣וּ SDBH clear away מֵאֶ֔בֶן SDBH the stones הָרִ֥ימוּ SDBH raise נֵ֖ס SDBH a banner עַל־ for הָעַמִּֽים׃ SDBH the nations

Pass through, pass through the She'arim; prepare ye the Derech HaAm; Build up, build up the mesilah (highway); gather out the even (stones); lift up a nes (banner) [visible] over HaAmim (the Nations).

הִנֵּ֣ה Behold יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הִשְׁמִ֙יעַ֙ SDBH has proclaimed אֶל־ to קְצֵ֣ה SDBH the ends הָאָ֔רֶץ SDBH of the earth אִמְרוּ֙ SDBH Say לְבַת־ SDBH to Daughter צִיּ֔וֹן SDBH Zion הִנֵּ֥ה See יִשְׁעֵ֖ךְ SDBH your Savior בָּ֑א SDBH comes הִנֵּ֤ה Look שְׂכָרוֹ֙ SDBH His reward אִתּ֔וֹ SDBH is with Him וּפְעֻלָּת֖וֹ SDBH and His recompense לְפָנָֽיו׃ goes before Him

Hinei, Hashem hath proclaimed unto the ketzeh HaAretz (end of the Earth), Say ye to Bat Tziyon, Hinei, thy Salvation cometh; hinei, His sachar (reward) is with Him, and His recompense before Him.

וְקָרְא֥וּ SDBH And they will be called לָהֶ֛ם . . . עַם־ SDBH People הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ SDBH the Holy גְּאוּלֵ֣י SDBH the Redeemed יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְלָךְ֙ and you יִקָּרֵ֣א SDBH will be called דְרוּשָׁ֔ה SDBH Sought Out עִ֖יר SDBH A City לֹ֥א SDBH Not נֶעֱזָֽבָה׃ס SDBH Forsaken

And they shall call them, The Am HaKodesh, the Geulei Hashem; and thou shalt be called, Derushah (one being sought), Ir Lo Ne'ezavah (City Not Deserted).
