אַל־ Do not תִּשְׂמַ֨ח SDBH rejoice יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל׀ SDBH O Israel אֶל־ with גִּיל֙ SDBH exultation כָּֽעַמִּ֔ים SDBH like the nations כִּ֥י for זָנִ֖יתָ SDBH you have played the harlot מֵעַ֣ל against אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ SDBH your G-d אָהַ֣בְתָּ SDBH you have made love אֶתְנָ֔ן SDBH [for] hire עַ֖ל on כָּל־ every גָּרְנ֥וֹת SDBH threshing floor דָּגָֽן׃ SDBH . . .
Rejoice not, O Yisroel, for joy, as other people; for thou hast gone a whoring from thy G-d, thou hast loved a reward upon every threshing floor.

גֹּ֥רֶן SDBH The threshing floor וָיֶ֖קֶב SDBH and winepress לֹ֣א SDBH will not יִרְעֵ֑ם SDBH feed them וְתִיר֖וֹשׁ SDBH and the new wine יְכַ֥חֶשׁ SDBH will fail them בָּֽהּ׃
The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the tirosh shall fail in her.
They shall not dwell in Hashem's land; but Ephrayim shall return to Mitzrayim, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

לֹא־ SDBH They will not יִסְּכ֨וּ SDBH pour out לַיהוָ֥ה׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יַיִן֮ SDBH wine [offerings] וְלֹ֣א SDBH will not יֶֽעֶרְבוּ־ SDBH please לוֹ֒ Him זִבְחֵיהֶ֗ם SDBH and their sacrifices כְּלֶ֤חֶם SDBH like the bread אוֹנִים֙ SDBH of mourners לָהֶ֔ם [but will be] to them כָּל־ all אֹכְלָ֖יו SDBH who eat יִטַמָּ֑אוּ SDBH will be defiled כִּֽי־ For לַחְמָ֣ם SDBH their bread לְנַפְשָׁ֔ם SDBH [will be] for themselves לֹ֥א SDBH it will not יָב֖וֹא SDBH enter בֵּ֥ית SDBH the house יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi
They shall not offer yayin offerings to Hashem, neither shall they be pleasing unto Him; their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted; for their bread for their nefesh shall not come into the Beis Hashem.

כִּֽי־ For הִנֵּ֤ה even if הָֽלְכוּ֙ SDBH they flee מִשֹּׁ֔ד SDBH destruction מִצְרַ֥יִם SDBH Egypt תְּקַבְּצֵ֖ם SDBH will gather them מֹ֣ף SDBH and Memphis תְּקַבְּרֵ֑ם SDBH will bury them מַחְמַ֣ד SDBH Their precious לְכַסְפָּ֗ם SDBH silver קִמּוֹשׂ֙ SDBH by thistles יִֽירָשֵׁ֔ם SDBH will be taken over ח֖וֹחַ SDBH [and] thorns [will overrun] בְּאָהֳלֵיהֶֽם׃ SDBH their tents
For, lo, they are gone because of destruction; Mitzrayim shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them; nettles shall possess their valuables of kesef; thorns shall be in their tents.

בָּ֣אוּ׀ SDBH have come יְמֵ֣י SDBH The days הַפְּקֻדָּ֗ה SDBH of punishment בָּ֚אוּ SDBH have arrived יְמֵ֣י SDBH the days הַשִׁלֻּ֔ם SDBH of retribution יֵדְע֖וּ SDBH know it יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל SDBH let Israel אֱוִ֣יל SDBH is [called] a fool הַנָּבִ֗יא SDBH The prophet מְשֻׁגָּע֙ SDBH insane אִ֣ישׁ SDBH man הָר֔וּחַ SDBH and the inspired עַ֚ל because of רֹ֣ב the greatness עֲוֺנְךָ֔ SDBH of your iniquity וְרַבָּ֖ה SDBH . . . מַשְׂטֵמָֽה׃ SDBH and hostility
The days of pekudah (visitation for divine punishment) are come, the yamim of recompence are come; Yisroel shall know it; the navi is a fool, the ish haruach (spiritual man) is meshuga, for the multitude of thine iniquity and great hatred.

צֹפֶ֥ה SDBH watchman אֶפְרַ֖יִם SDBH is Ephraim’s עִם־ along with אֱלֹהָ֑י SDBH my G-d נָבִ֞יא SDBH The prophet פַּ֤ח SDBH [yet] the snare יָקוֹשׁ֙ SDBH of the fowler עַל־ [lies] on כָּל־ all דְּרָכָ֔יו SDBH his paths מַשְׂטֵמָ֖ה SDBH Hostility בְּבֵ֥ית SDBH is in the house אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ SDBH of his G-d
The watchman of Ephrayim was with my G-d; but the navi is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the bais of his G-d.

הֶעְמִֽיקוּ־ SDBH They have deeply שִׁחֵ֖תוּ SDBH corrupted themselves כִּימֵ֣י SDBH as in the days הַגִּבְעָ֑ה SDBH of Gibeah יִזְכּ֣וֹר SDBH He will remember עֲוֺנָ֔ם SDBH their guilt יִפְק֖וֹד SDBH He will punish חַטֹּאותָֽם׃ס SDBH their sins
They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the yamim of Giveah; therefore He will remember their iniquity, He will visit their sins.
I found Yisroel like grapes in the midbar; I saw your avot as the bikkurah in the fig tree at her first season; but they went to Ba'al-peor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
As for Ephrayim, their kavod shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the beten (womb), and from the conception.

כִּ֤י Even אִם־ SDBH if יְגַדְּלוּ֙ SDBH they raise אֶת־ SDBH - בְּנֵיהֶ֔ם SDBH their children וְשִׁכַּלְתִּ֖ים SDBH I will bereave them מֵֽאָדָ֑ם SDBH of each one כִּֽי־ Yes גַם־ SDBH . . . א֥וֹי SDBH woe [be] לָהֶ֖ם to them בְּשׂוּרִ֥י SDBH when I turn away מֵהֶֽם׃ from them
Though they bring up their banim, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
Ephrayim, as I saw Tzor, is planted in a pleasant place; but Ephrayim shall bring forth his banim to the murderer.

תֵּן־ Give לָהֶ֥ם them יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מַה־ SDBH what תִּתֵּ֑ן will You give תֵּן־ Give לָהֶם֙ them רֶ֣חֶם SDBH wombs מַשְׁכִּ֔יל SDBH that miscarry וְשָׁדַ֖יִם SDBH and breasts צֹמְקִֽים׃ SDBH that dry up
Give them, O Hashem. What wilt Thou give? Give them a miscarrying rechem (womb) and dry breasts.
All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them; for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of Mine bais, I will love them no more; all their sarim (princes) are sorerim (rebels).
Ephrayim is struck, their shoresh (root) is dried up, they shall bear no fruit; yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their beten (womb).

יִמְאָסֵ֣ם SDBH will reject them אֱלֹהַ֔י SDBH My G-d כִּ֛י because לֹ֥א SDBH they have not שָׁמְע֖וּ SDBH obeyed ל֑וֹ Him וְיִהְי֥וּ and they shall be נֹדְדִ֖ים SDBH wanderers בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ס SDBH among the nations
My G-d will cast them away, because they did not pay heed unto Him; and they shall be nodedim (wanderers) among the Goyim.
