Tehillim 66 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ SDBH For the choirmaster שִׁ֣יר SDBH A song מִזְמ֑וֹר SDBH A Psalm הָרִ֥יעוּ SDBH Make a joyful noise לֵ֝אלֹהִים SDBH to G-d כָּל־ all הָאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH the earth

(For the one directing. Shir. Mizmor.) Make a joyful shout unto Elohim, kol HaAretz;

זַמְּר֥וּ SDBH Sing כְבֽוֹד־ SDBH the glory שְׁמ֑וֹ SDBH of His name שִׂ֥ימוּ SDBH make כָ֝ב֗וֹד SDBH glorious תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃ SDBH His praise

Sing forth the kavod Shmo; make kavod (glorious) His tehillah (praise).

אִמְר֣וּ SDBH Say לֵ֭אלֹהִים SDBH to G-d מַה־ SDBH How נּוֹרָ֣א SDBH awesome מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ SDBH are Your deeds בְּרֹ֥ב So great is Your עֻ֝זְּךָ֗ SDBH power יְֽכַחֲשׁ֖וּ SDBH cower before You לְךָ֣ אֹיְבֶֽיךָ׃ SDBH that Your enemies

Say unto Elohim, How norah (awesome) art Thou in Thy ma'asim (works)! Through the greatness of Thy oz (might) shall Thine oyevim cower before Thee.

כָּל־ All הָאָ֤רֶץ׀ SDBH the earth יִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ SDBH bows down לְ֭ךָ to You וִֽיזַמְּרוּ־ SDBH they sing praise לָ֑ךְ to You יְזַמְּר֖וּ SDBH they sing praise שִׁמְךָ֣ SDBH to Your name סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

Kol ha'aretz shall prostrate before Thee, and shall sing unto Thee; they shall sing praise to Shimecha. Selah.

לְכ֣וּ SDBH Come וּ֭רְאוּ SDBH and see מִפְעֲל֣וֹת SDBH the works אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH of G-d נוֹרָ֥א SDBH how awesome עֲ֝לִילָ֗ה SDBH are His deeds עַל־ toward בְּנֵ֥י SDBH vvv אָדָֽם׃ SDBH mankind

Come and see the works of Elohim; He is norah (awesome) in deed toward Bnei Adam.

הָ֤פַךְ SDBH He turned יָ֨ם׀ SDBH the sea לְֽיַבָּשָׁ֗ה SDBH into dry land בַּ֭נָּהָר SDBH the waters יַֽעַבְר֣וּ SDBH they passed through בְרָ֑גֶל SDBH on foot שָׁ֝֗ם SDBH there נִשְׂמְחָה־ SDBH we rejoiced בּֽוֹ׃ in Him

He turned the yam into yabashah (dry land; see Gn 1:10); they passed through the nahar on regel; there did we rejoice in Him.

מֹ֘שֵׁ֤ל SDBH He rules בִּגְבוּרָת֨וֹ׀ SDBH by His power עוֹלָ֗ם SDBH forever עֵ֭ינָיו SDBH His eyes בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם SDBH the nations תִּצְפֶּ֑ינָה SDBH watch הַסּוֹרְרִ֓ים׀ SDBH the rebellious אַל־ Do not let יָרִימוּ SDBH exalt לָ֣מוֹ themselves סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

He ruleth by His gevurah (power) olam (forever); His eyes are a watchman's eyes over the Goyim; let not the sorerim (rebellious ones) exalt themselves. Selah.

בָּרְכ֖וּ SDBH Bless עַמִּ֥ים׀ SDBH O peoples אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ SDBH our G-d וְ֝הַשְׁמִ֗יעוּ SDBH be heard ק֣וֹל SDBH let the sound תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃ SDBH of His praise

Barchu Eloheinu, Amim, and make the kol (sound) of His tehillah (praise) to be heard.

9

הַשָּׂ֣ם SDBH He preserves נַ֭פְשֵׁנוּ SDBH our בַּֽחַיִּ֑ים SDBH lives וְלֹֽא־ SDBH and keeps נָתַ֖ן . . . לַמּ֣וֹט SDBH from slipping רַגְלֵֽנוּ׃ SDBH our feet

He is the One who set nafsheinu in chayyim and does not permit ragleinu (our foot) to slip.

10

כִּֽי־ For בְחַנְתָּ֥נוּ SDBH have tested us אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH You , O G-d צְ֝רַפְתָּ֗נוּ SDBH You have refined us כִּצְרָף־ SDBH . . . כָּֽסֶף׃ SDBH like silver

For Thou, Elohim, hath tested us and hast proved us; Thou hast put us in the crucible's refining and refined us as kesef.

הֲבֵאתָ֥נוּ SDBH You led us בַמְּצוּדָ֑ה SDBH into the net שַׂ֖מְתָּ SDBH You laid מוּעָקָ֣ה SDBH burdens בְמָתְנֵֽינוּ׃ SDBH on our backs

Thou broughtest us into the metzudah (prison); Thou laidst a mu'akah (burden) upon our loins.

הִרְכַּ֥בְתָּ SDBH ride אֱנ֗וֹשׁ SDBH You let men לְרֹ֫אשֵׁ֥נוּ SDBH over our heads בָּֽאנוּ־ SDBH we went בָאֵ֥שׁ SDBH through fire וּבַמַּ֑יִם SDBH and water וַ֝תּוֹצִיאֵ֗נוּ SDBH but You brought us לָֽרְוָיָֽה׃ SDBH into abundance

Thou hast caused enosh (mankind) to ride over rosheinu (our head); we went through eish and through mayim; but Thou broughtest us out into plenty.

אָב֣וֹא SDBH I will enter בֵיתְךָ֣ SDBH Your house בְעוֹל֑וֹת SDBH with burnt offerings אֲשַׁלֵּ֖ם SDBH I will fulfill לְךָ֣ to You נְדָרָֽי׃ SDBH my vows

I will come into Thy Beis [HaMikdash] with olot; I will fulfill for Thee my nedarim,

אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH [the vows] that פָּצ֥וּ SDBH promised שְׂפָתָ֑י SDBH my lips וְדִבֶּר־ SDBH spoke פִּ֝֗י SDBH and my mouth בַּצַּר־ SDBH in my distress לִֽי׃

Which my sfatayim have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in tzoros.

עֹ֘ל֤וֹת SDBH as burnt offerings מֵחִ֣ים SDBH fatlings אַעֲלֶה־ SDBH I will offer לָּ֭ךְ You עִם־ with קְטֹ֣רֶת SDBH the fragrant smoke אֵילִ֑ים SDBH of rams אֶ֥עֱשֶֽׂה SDBH I will offer בָקָ֖ר SDBH bulls עִם־ and עַתּוּדִ֣ים SDBH goats סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

I will offer unto Thee olot mekhim (burnt offerings of fat animals), with the ketoret (incense, offering) of rams; I will offer bakar with goats. Selah.

לְכֽוּ־ SDBH Come שִׁמְע֣וּ SDBH and listen וַ֭אֲסַפְּרָה SDBH and I will declare כָּל־ all you יִרְאֵ֣י SDBH who fear אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH G-d אֲשֶׁ֖ר SDBH what עָשָׂ֣ה SDBH He has done לְנַפְשִֽׁי׃ SDBH for me

Come and hear, Kol Yirei Elohim, and I will declare what He hath done for my nefesh.

17

אֵלָ֥יו to Him פִּֽי־ SDBH with my mouth קָרָ֑אתִי SDBH I cried out וְ֝רוֹמַ֗ם SDBH and praised Him תַּ֣חַת SDBH with לְשׁוֹנִֽי׃ SDBH my tongue

I cried unto Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my leshon.

18

אָ֭וֶן SDBH iniquity אִם־ SDBH If רָאִ֣יתִי SDBH I had cherished בְלִבִּ֑י SDBH in my heart לֹ֖א SDBH would not יִשְׁמַ֣ע׀ SDBH have listened אֲדֹנָֽי׃ SDBH the Lord

If I regard avon (iniquity, sin) in my lev, Adonoi will not hear me;

19

אָ֭כֵן SDBH has surely שָׁמַ֣ע SDBH heard אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH But G-d הִ֝קְשִׁ֗יב SDBH He has attended בְּק֣וֹל SDBH to the sound תְּפִלָּתִֽי׃ SDBH of my prayer

But surely Elohim hath heard me; He hath attended to the kol tefillati (voice of my prayer).

20

בָּר֥וּךְ SDBH Blessed אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH [be] G-d אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH who לֹֽא־ SDBH has not הֵסִ֘יר SDBH rejected תְּפִלָּתִ֥י SDBH my prayer וְ֝חַסְדּ֗וֹ SDBH His loving devotion מֵאִתִּֽי׃ SDBH or withheld from me

Baruch Elohim, Who hath not turned away my tefillah, nor His chesed from me.
