לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ SDBH For the choirmaster אַל־ To the tune of תַּשְׁחֵ֗ת Do Not Destroy לְדָוִ֥ד SDBH of David מִכְתָּֽם׃ SDBH A Miktam הַֽאֻמְנָ֗ם SDBH Do you indeed אֵ֣לֶם SDBH O rulers צֶ֭דֶק SDBH justly תְּדַבֵּר֑וּן SDBH speak מֵישָׁרִ֥ים SDBH uprightly תִּ֝שְׁפְּט֗וּ SDBH Do you judge בְּנֵ֣י SDBH O sons אָדָֽם׃ SDBH of men

(For the one directing. Set to Do Not Destroy. Mikhtam Dovid). Do ye indeed decree tzedek, O elim (g-ds, Ex 22:28[27])? Do ye judge uprightly the Bnei Adam?

אַף־ SDBH No בְּלֵב֮ SDBH in your hearts עוֹלֹ֪ת SDBH injustice תִּפְעָ֫ל֥וּן SDBH you devise בָּאָ֡רֶץ SDBH on the earth חֲמַ֥ס SDBH violence יְ֝דֵיכֶ֗ם SDBH with your hands תְּפַלֵּֽסֽוּן׃ SDBH you mete out

No, in lev (heart) ye work wickedness; ye weigh out the chamas (violence) of your hands in Ha'Aretz.

זֹ֣רוּ SDBH are estranged רְשָׁעִ֣ים SDBH The wicked מֵרָ֑חֶם SDBH from the womb תָּע֥וּ SDBH go astray מִ֝בֶּ֗טֶן SDBH from birth דֹּבְרֵ֥י SDBH the liars כָזָֽב׃ SDBH . . .

The resha'im are perverted from the rekhem (womb); gone astray from birth are they, speaking kazav (lie, falsehood).

חֲמַת־ SDBH Their venom לָ֗מוֹ - כִּדְמ֥וּת SDBH [is] like חֲמַת־ SDBH the venom נָחָ֑שׁ SDBH of a snake כְּמוֹ־ SDBH like פֶ֥תֶן SDBH a cobra חֵ֝רֵ֗שׁ SDBH that shuts יַאְטֵ֥ם SDBH . . . אָזְנֽוֹ׃ SDBH its ears

Their venom is like the venom of a nachash; they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth its ear;

אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH vvv לֹא־ SDBH refusing יִ֭שְׁמַע SDBH to hear לְק֣וֹל SDBH the tune מְלַחֲשִׁ֑ים SDBH of the charmer חוֹבֵ֖ר SDBH weaves his spell חֲבָרִ֣ים SDBH . . . מְחֻכָּֽם׃ SDBH who skillfully

That it may not pay heed to the voice of charmers, casting spells ever so cunningly.

אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים SDBH O G-d הֲרָס־ SDBH shatter שִׁנֵּ֥ימוֹ SDBH their teeth בְּפִ֑ימוֹ SDBH in their mouths מַלְתְּע֥וֹת SDBH the fangs כְּ֝פִירִ֗ים SDBH of the lions נְתֹ֣ץ׀ SDBH tear out יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

Break their teeth, O Elohim, in their mouth; tear out the fangs of the young lions, Hashem.

יִמָּאֲס֣וּ SDBH May they vanish כְמוֹ־ SDBH like מַ֭יִם SDBH water יִתְהַלְּכוּ־ SDBH that runs off לָ֑מוֹ יִדְרֹ֥ךְ SDBH when they draw the bow חִצּוֹ SDBH may their arrows כְּמ֣וֹ SDBH יִתְמֹלָֽלוּ׃ SDBH be blunted

Let them melt away like draining mayim; when he bendeth his bow to shoot his khitzim (arrows), let them be crumbled to pieces.

כְּמ֣וֹ SDBH Like שַׁ֭בְּלוּל SDBH a slug תֶּ֣מֶס SDBH in its slime יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ SDBH that dissolves נֵ֥פֶל SDBH stillborn child אֵ֝֗שֶׁת SDBH like a woman’s בַּל־ SDBH may they never חָ֥זוּ SDBH see שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃ SDBH the sun

As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away; like the stillborn child of an isha, that they may not see the shemesh.

בְּטֶ֤רֶם SDBH Before יָבִ֣ינוּ SDBH can feel סִּֽירֹתֵיכֶ֣ם SDBH your pots אָטָ֑ד SDBH [the burning] thorns כְּמוֹ־ SDBH or חַ֥י SDBH whether green כְּמוֹ־ SDBH . . . חָ֝ר֗וֹן SDBH dry יִשְׂעָרֶֽנּוּ׃ SDBH He will sweep them away

Before your sirot (pots) can feel the burning thorns, may He with a whirlwind blow them away, both green and dry alike.

יִשְׂמַ֣ח SDBH will rejoice צַ֭דִּיק SDBH The righteous כִּי־ when חָזָ֣ה SDBH they see נָקָ֑ם SDBH they are avenged פְּעָמָ֥יו SDBH their feet יִ֝רְחַ֗ץ SDBH they will wash בְּדַ֣ם SDBH in the blood הָרָשָֽׁע׃ SDBH of the wicked

The tzaddik shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; he shall wash feet in the dahm harasha.

וְיֹאמַ֣ר SDBH will say אָ֭דָם SDBH Then men אַךְ־ SDBH There is surely פְּרִ֣י SDBH a reward לַצַּדִּ֑יק SDBH for the righteous אַ֥ךְ SDBH surely יֵשׁ־ There is אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים SDBH a G-d שֹׁפְטִ֥ים SDBH who judges בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH the earth

So that adam shall say, Verily there is a reward for the tzaddik; verily yesh Elohim Shofetim ba'aretz (there is a G-d that judgeth in the earth).
