Tehillim 50 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

מִזְמ֗וֹר SDBH A Psalm לְאָ֫סָ֥ף SDBH of Asaph אֵ֤ל׀ SDBH The Mighty One אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֡ים SDBH G-d יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi דִּבֶּ֥ר SDBH speaks וַיִּקְרָא־ SDBH and summons אָ֑רֶץ SDBH the earth מִמִּזְרַח־ SDBH from where the sun rises שֶׁ֝֗מֶשׁ SDBH . . . עַד־ SDBH to מְבֹאֽוֹ׃ SDBH where it sets

(Mizmor of Asaph) El Elohim, even Hashem, hath spoken, and called Eretz from the mizrach shemesh (rising of sun) unto the going down thereof.

מִצִּיּ֥וֹן SDBH From Zion מִכְלַל־ SDBH perfect יֹ֗פִי SDBH in beauty אֱלֹהִ֥ים SDBH G-d הוֹפִֽיעַ׃ SDBH shines forth

Out of Tziyon, the perfection of yofi, Elohim shineth forth.

יָ֤בֹ֥א SDBH approaches אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ SDBH Our G-d וְֽאַל־ and will not יֶ֫חֱרַ֥שׁ SDBH be silent אֵשׁ־ SDBH fire לְפָנָ֥יו precedes Him תֹּאכֵ֑ל SDBH Consuming וּ֝סְבִיבָ֗יו rages around Him נִשְׂעֲרָ֥ה SDBH and a tempest מְאֹֽד׃ . . .

Eloheinu shall come, and shall not keep silent; an eish shall devour before Him, and it shall be tempestuous me'od round about Him.

יִקְרָ֣א SDBH He summons אֶל־ . . . הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם SDBH the heavens מֵעָ֑ל above וְאֶל־ . . . הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ SDBH and the earth לָדִ֥ין SDBH that He may judge עַמּֽוֹ׃ SDBH His people

He shall summon Shomayim from above, and ha'aretz, that He may judge His people.

אִסְפוּ־ SDBH Gather לִ֥י to Me חֲסִידָ֑י SDBH My saints כֹּרְתֵ֖י SDBH who made בְרִיתִ֣י SDBH a covenant עֲלֵי־ with Me זָֽבַח׃ SDBH by sacrifice

Gather My chasidim together unto Me; those that have cut a Brit (covenant) with Me by zevach (blood sacrifice, T.N. cf Gn 4:5 on the true Jewish religion).

וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ SDBH proclaim שָׁמַ֣יִם SDBH And the heavens צִדְק֑וֹ SDBH His righteousness כִּֽי־ for אֱלֹהִ֓ים׀ SDBH G-d שֹׁפֵ֖ט SDBH is Judge ה֣וּא SDBH Himself סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

And Shomayim shall declare His tzedek; for Elohim Shofet hu. Selah.

שִׁמְעָ֤ה SDBH Hear עַמִּ֨י׀ SDBH O My people וַאֲדַבֵּ֗רָה SDBH and I will speak יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל SDBH O Israel וְאָעִ֣ידָה SDBH and I will testify בָּ֑ךְ against you אֱלֹהִ֖ים SDBH am G-d אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ SDBH your G-d אָנֹֽכִי׃ SDBH I

Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Yisroel, and I will testify against thee; I am Elohim, even Eloheicha.

לֹ֣א SDBH I do not עַל־ you for זְ֭בָחֶיךָ SDBH your sacrifices אוֹכִיחֶ֑ךָ SDBH rebuke וְעוֹלֹתֶ֖יךָ SDBH and your burnt offerings לְנֶגְדִּ֣י before Me תָמִֽיד׃ SDBH are ever

I will not reprove thee for thy zevakhim. And thy olot are before Me tamid.

9

לֹא־ SDBH I have no אֶקַּ֣ח SDBH need מִבֵּיתְךָ֣ SDBH from your stall פָ֑ר SDBH for a bull מִ֝מִּכְלְאֹתֶ֗יךָ SDBH from your pens עַתּוּדִֽים׃ SDBH or goats

I will accept no par (bull) from thy bais, nor he-goats out of thy folds.

כִּי־ for לִ֥י is Mine כָל־ every חַיְתוֹ־ SDBH beast יָ֑עַר SDBH of the forest בְּ֝הֵמ֗וֹת SDBH the cattle בְּהַרְרֵי־ SDBH hills אָֽלֶף׃ SDBH on a thousand

For every beast of the ya'ar (forest) is Mine, and the behemot upon a thousand hills.

11

יָ֭דַעְתִּי SDBH I know כָּל־ every ע֣וֹף SDBH bird הָרִ֑ים SDBH in the mountains וְזִ֥יז SDBH and the creatures שָׂ֝דַ֗י SDBH of the field עִמָּדִֽי׃ [are] Mine

I know kol oph (every bird) of the harim; and the animals of the wild are Mine.

אִם־ SDBH If אֶ֭רְעַב SDBH I were hungry לֹא־ SDBH I would not אֹ֣מַר SDBH tell לָ֑ךְ you כִּי־ for לִ֥י is Mine תֵ֝בֵ֗ל SDBH the world וּמְלֹאָֽהּ׃ SDBH and the fullness thereof

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the tevel is Mine, and the fulness thereof.

הַֽ֭אוֹכַל SDBH Do I eat בְּשַׂ֣ר SDBH the flesh אַבִּירִ֑ים SDBH of bulls וְדַ֖ם SDBH the blood עַתּוּדִ֣ים SDBH of goats אֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃ SDBH or drink

Will I eat the basar of bulls, or drink the dahm of goats?

זְבַ֣ח SDBH Sacrifice לֵאלֹהִ֣ים SDBH to G-d תּוֹדָ֑ה SDBH a thank offering וְשַׁלֵּ֖ם SDBH and fulfill לְעֶלְי֣וֹן SDBH to the Most High נְדָרֶֽיךָ׃ SDBH your vows

Sacrifice unto Elohim todah; and pay thy nedarim (vows, pledges) unto Elyon;

15

וּ֭קְרָאֵנִי SDBH Call upon Me בְּי֣וֹם SDBH in the day צָרָ֑ה SDBH of trouble אֲ֝חַלֶּצְךָ֗ SDBH I will deliver you וּֽתְכַבְּדֵֽנִי׃ SDBH and you will honor Me

And call upon Me in the Yom Tzarah; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me.

16

וְלָ֤רָשָׁ֨ע׀ SDBH To the wicked, however אָ֘מַ֤ר SDBH says אֱלֹהִ֗ים SDBH G-d מַה־ SDBH What right לְּ֭ךָ have you לְסַפֵּ֣ר SDBH to recite חֻקָּ֑י SDBH My statutes וַתִּשָּׂ֖א SDBH and to bear בְרִיתִ֣י SDBH My covenant עֲלֵי־ on פִֽיךָ׃ SDBH your lips

But unto the rasha, Elohim saith, What right hast thou to declare My chukkot, or that thou shouldest take My Brit in thy mouth?

17

וְ֭אַתָּה SDBH For you שָׂנֵ֣אתָ SDBH hate מוּסָ֑ר SDBH My instruction וַתַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ SDBH and cast דְּבָרַ֣י SDBH My words אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃ SDBH behind you

Seeing thou hatest musar (correction), and casteth My devarim behind thee.

18

אִם־ SDBH When רָאִ֣יתָ SDBH you see גַ֭נָּב SDBH a thief וַתִּ֣רֶץ SDBH you befriend עִמּ֑וֹ him וְעִ֖ם with מְנָאֲפִ֣ים SDBH adulterers חֶלְקֶֽךָ׃ SDBH and throw in your lot

When thou sawest a ganav (thief), then thou consentedst with him, and hast taken thy chelek (lot) with mena'afim (adulterers).

פִּ֭יךָ SDBH your mouth שָׁלַ֣חְתָּ SDBH You unleash בְרָעָ֑ה SDBH for evil וּ֝לְשׁוֹנְךָ֗ SDBH your tongue תַּצְמִ֥יד SDBH and harness מִרְמָֽה׃ SDBH to deceit

Thou lettest loose thy mouth to ra'ah, and thy leshon frameth mirmah (deceit).

תֵּ֭שֵׁב SDBH You sit בְּאָחִ֣יךָ SDBH your brother תְדַבֵּ֑ר SDBH and malign בְּבֶֽן־ SDBH son אִ֝מְּךָ֗ SDBH your own mother’s תִּתֶּן־ you דֹּֽפִי׃ SDBH slander

Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own ben immecha.

21

אֵ֤לֶּה SDBH these things עָשִׂ֨יתָ׀ SDBH You have done וְֽהֶחֱרַ֗שְׁתִּי SDBH and I kept silent דִּמִּ֗יתָ SDBH you thought הֱֽיוֹת־ I was אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה . . . כָמ֑וֹךָ SDBH just like you אוֹכִיחֲךָ֖ SDBH But now I rebuke you וְאֶֽעֶרְכָ֣ה SDBH and accuse you לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ SDBH to your face

These things hast thou done, and I kept silent; thou thoughtest that I was altogether like thee; but I will reprove thee, and set the charge before thine eyes.

בִּֽינוּ־ SDBH consider נָ֣א Now זֹ֭את SDBH this שֹׁכְחֵ֣י SDBH you who forget אֱל֑וֹהַּ SDBH G-d פֶּן־ lest אֶ֝טְרֹ֗ף SDBH I tear you to pieces וְאֵ֣ין SDBH with no one מַצִּֽיל׃ SDBH to rescue you

Now consider this, ye that forget Elo'ah (G-d), lest I tear you to pieces, and there be none to rescue.

23

זֹבֵ֥חַ SDBH He who sacrifices תּוֹדָ֗ה SDBH a thank offering יְֽכַ֫בְּדָ֥נְנִי SDBH honors Me וְשָׂ֥ם SDBH and to him who rightly orders דֶּ֑רֶךְ SDBH [his] way אַ֝רְאֶ֗נּוּ SDBH I will show בְּיֵ֣שַׁע SDBH the salvation אֱלֹהִֽים׃ SDBH of G-d

Whoso offereth todah glorifieth Me; and to him that ordereth his derech aright will I show the Salvation of Elohim.
