Tehillim 28 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לְדָוִ֡ד SDBH Of David אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ To You יְהוָ֨ה׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֶקְרָ֗א SDBH I call צוּרִי֮ SDBH O my Rock אַֽל־ be not תֶּחֱרַ֪שׁ SDBH deaf מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי to me פֶּן־ For if תֶּֽחֱשֶׁ֥ה SDBH You remain silent מִמֶּ֑נִּי . . . וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי SDBH I will be עִם־ like י֥וֹרְדֵי SDBH those descending בֽוֹר׃ SDBH to the Pit

(Of Dovid) Unto Thee will I cry, Hashem my Tzur; do not turn a deaf ear to me: lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

שְׁמַ֤ע SDBH Hear ק֣וֹל SDBH my cry תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי SDBH for mercy בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י SDBH when I call אֵלֶ֑יךָ to You {for help} בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י SDBH when I lift up יָ֝דַ֗י SDBH my hands אֶל־ toward דְּבִ֥יר SDBH sanctuary קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ SDBH Your holy

Shema (hear) kol (voice) of my supplications, when I cry unto Thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy Devir Kodesh (Innermost Sanctuary, Kodesh HaKodashim).

אַל־ Do not תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי SDBH drag me away עִם־ with רְשָׁעִים֮ SDBH the wicked וְעִם־ and with פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י SDBH the workers אָ֥וֶן SDBH of iniquity דֹּבְרֵ֣י SDBH who speak שָׁ֭לוֹם SDBH peace עִם־ to רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם SDBH their neighbors וְ֝רָעָ֗ה SDBH while malice בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ SDBH is in their hearts

Draw me not away with the resha'im, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak shalom to their neighbors, but malice is in their hearts.

תֶּן־ Repay לָהֶ֣ם them כְּפָעֳלָם֮ SDBH according to their deeds וּכְרֹ֪עַ SDBH of evil מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם SDBH and for their works כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה SDBH have done יְ֭דֵיהֶם SDBH for what their hands תֵּ֣ן Repay לָהֶ֑ם them הָשֵׁ֖ב SDBH bring back גְּמוּלָ֣ם SDBH what they deserve לָהֶֽם׃ on them

Give to them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their gemul (deserts).

כִּ֤י Since לֹ֤א SDBH they show no יָבִ֡ינוּ SDBH regard אֶל־ . . . פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת SDBH for the works יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְאֶל־ or מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה SDBH have done יָדָ֑יו SDBH what His hands יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם SDBH He will tear them down וְלֹ֣א SDBH and never יִבְנֵֽם׃ SDBH rebuild them

Because they regard not the Pe'ulot Hashem, nor the Ma'aseh of His hands, He shall tear them down, and not build them up.

בָּר֥וּךְ SDBH Blessed be יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּי־ for שָׁ֝מַע SDBH He has heard ק֣וֹל SDBH my cry תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ SDBH for mercy

Baruch Hashem, because He hath heard the kol (voice) of my supplications.

יְהוָ֤ה׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עֻזִּ֥י SDBH is my strength וּמָגִנִּי֮ SDBH and my shield בּ֤וֹ in Him בָטַ֥ח SDBH trusts לִבִּ֗י SDBH my heart וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי SDBH and I am helped וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז SDBH rejoices לִבִּ֑י SDBH Therefore my heart וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י SDBH with my song אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃ SDBH and I give thanks to Him

Hashem is my strength and my mogen; my lev trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my lev greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I thank Him.

יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עֹֽז־ SDBH is the strength of His people לָ֑מוֹ וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז SDBH a stronghold יְשׁוּע֖וֹת SDBH of salvation מְשִׁיח֣וֹ SDBH for His anointed הֽוּא׃ SDBH

Hashem is their oz (strength), and He is the Ma'oz Yeshu'ot (saving refuge) of His Moshiach.

הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה׀ SDBH Save אֶת־ SDBH - עַמֶּ֗ךָ SDBH Your people וּבָרֵ֥ךְ SDBH and bless אֶת־ SDBH - נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ SDBH Your inheritance וּֽרְעֵ֥ם SDBH shepherd them וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם SDBH and carry עַד־ SDBH them הָעוֹלָֽם׃ SDBH forever

Save Thy people, and bless Thine nachalah; shepherd them also, and carry them ad olam.
