Tehillim 20 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ SDBH For the choirmaster מִזְמ֥וֹר SDBH A Psalm לְדָוִֽד׃ SDBH of David יַֽעַנְךָ֣ SDBH answer you יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בְּי֣וֹם SDBH in the day צָרָ֑ה SDBH of trouble יְ֝שַׂגֶּבְךָ֗ SDBH protect you שֵׁ֤ם׀ SDBH may the name אֱלֹהֵ֬י SDBH of the G-d יַעֲקֹֽב׃ SDBH of Jacob

(For the one directing. Mizmor Dovid) Hashem hear thee in the Yom Tzarah (day of trouble); the Shem Elohei Ya'akov set thee up on high [i.e., out of reach of your enemies];

יִשְׁלַֽח־ SDBH May He send you עֶזְרְךָ֥ SDBH help מִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ SDBH from the sanctuary וּ֝מִצִּיּ֗וֹן SDBH from Zion יִסְעָדֶֽךָּ׃ SDBH and sustain you

Send thee help from the Kodesh (Holy Sanctuary), and strengthen thee out of Tziyon;

יִזְכֹּ֥ר SDBH May He remember כָּל־ all מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ SDBH your gifts וְעוֹלָתְךָ֖ SDBH your burnt offerings יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה SDBH and look favorably on סֶֽלָה׃ SDBH Selah

Remember all thy minchot, and accept thy olat; Selah.

יִֽתֶּן־ May He give לְךָ֥ you כִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ SDBH the desires of your heart וְֽכָל־ all your עֲצָתְךָ֥ SDBH plans {succeed} יְמַלֵּֽא׃ SDBH and make

Grant thee according to thine own levav, and fulfil kol etzah (plan, counsel) of thine.

נְרַנְּנָ֤ה׀ SDBH May we shout for joy בִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ SDBH at your victory וּבְשֵֽׁם־ SDBH in the name אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ SDBH of our G-d נִדְגֹּ֑ל SDBH and raise a banner יְמַלֵּ֥א SDBH grant יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כָּל־ all מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ SDBH your petitions

We will shout for joy at thy Yeshuah (salvation), and in the Shem of Eloheinu we will lift up our banners; Hashem grant all thy requests.

עַתָּ֤ה SDBH Now יָדַ֗עְתִּי SDBH I know כִּ֤י that הוֹשִׁ֥יעַ׀ SDBH saves יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מְשִׁ֫יח֥וֹ SDBH His anointed יַ֭עֲנֵהוּ SDBH He answers him מִשְּׁמֵ֣י SDBH heaven קָדְשׁ֑וֹ SDBH from His holy בִּ֝גְבֻר֗וֹת SDBH power יֵ֣שַׁע SDBH with the saving יְמִינֽוֹ׃ SDBH of His right hand

Now I have da'as that Hashem hoshi'a (He saves) His Moshiach; He will answer him from His Sh'mei Kodesh (Holy Heaven) with the saving strength of His right hand.

אֵ֣לֶּה SDBH Some בָ֭רֶכֶב SDBH [trust] in chariots וְאֵ֣לֶּה SDBH and others בַסּוּסִ֑ים SDBH in horses וַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ׀ SDBH but we בְּשֵׁם־ SDBH in the name יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ SDBH our G-d נַזְכִּֽיר׃ SDBH trust

Some trust in chariots, and some susim: but we will trust in the Shem Hashem Eloheinu.

הֵ֭מָּה SDBH They כָּרְע֣וּ SDBH collapse וְנָפָ֑לוּ SDBH and fall וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ SDBH but we קַּ֝֗מְנוּ SDBH rise up וַנִּתְעוֹדָֽד׃ SDBH and stand firm

They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen up, and stand firm.

יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הוֹשִׁ֑יעָה SDBH save הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ SDBH the king יַעֲנֵ֥נוּ SDBH Answer us בְיוֹם־ SDBH on the day קָרְאֵֽנוּ׃ SDBH we call

Hoshi'ah, Hashem, HaMelech! May He hear us on the day when we call.
