(For the one directing. Mizmor Dovid) How long wilt Thou forget me, Hashem? Netzach (forever?) How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me?

עַד־ SDBH How long אָ֨נָה SDBH . . . אָשִׁ֪ית SDBH must I wrestle עֵצ֡וֹת SDBH . . . בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י SDBH in my soul יָג֣וֹן SDBH with sorrow בִּלְבָבִ֣י SDBH in my heart יוֹמָ֑ם SDBH each day עַד־ SDBH How long אָ֓נָה׀ SDBH . . . יָר֖וּם SDBH dominate אֹיְבִ֣י SDBH will my enemy עָלָֽי׃ me

How long shall I take counsel in my nefesh, having sorrow in my lev daily? How long shall mine oyev be exalted over me?

הַבִּ֣יטָֽה SDBH Consider me עֲ֭נֵנִי SDBH [and] respond יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֱלֹהָ֑י SDBH my G-d הָאִ֥ירָה SDBH Give light עֵ֝ינַ֗י SDBH to my eyes פֶּן־ lest אִישַׁ֥ן SDBH I sleep הַמָּֽוֶת׃ SDBH in death

Consider and hear me, Hashem Elohai; enlighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of mavet;

פֶּן־ lest יֹאמַ֣ר SDBH say אֹיְבִ֣י SDBH my enemy יְכָלְתִּ֑יו SDBH I have overcome him צָרַ֥י SDBH and my foes יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ SDBH rejoice כִּ֣י when אֶמּֽוֹט׃ SDBH I fall

Lest mine oyev say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am defeated.

וַאֲנִ֤י׀ SDBH But I בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ SDBH in Your loving devotion בָטַחְתִּי֮ SDBH have trusted יָ֤גֵ֥ל SDBH will rejoice לִבִּ֗י SDBH my heart בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ SDBH in Your salvation

But I have trusted in Thy chesed; my lev shall rejoice in Thy Yeshuah (salvation).

אָשִׁ֥ירָה SDBH I will sing לַיהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּ֖י for גָמַ֣ל SDBH He has been good עָלָֽי׃ to me

I will sing unto Hashem, because He hath dealt bountifully with me.
