Tehillim 14 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ SDBH For the choirmaster לְדָ֫וִ֥ד SDBH Of David אָ֘מַ֤ר SDBH says נָבָ֣ל SDBH The fool בְּ֭לִבּוֹ SDBH in his heart אֵ֣ין SDBH [There is] no אֱלֹהִ֑ים SDBH G-d הִֽשְׁחִ֗יתוּ SDBH They are corrupt הִֽתְעִ֥יבוּ SDBH are vile עֲלִילָ֗ה SDBH their acts אֵ֣ין SDBH There is no עֹֽשֵׂה־ SDBH one who does טֽוֹב׃ SDBH good

(For the one directing. Of Dovid) The naval (fool) hath said in his lev, There is no Elohim. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, ein oseh tov (there is none that doeth good).

יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מִשָּׁמַיִם֮ SDBH from heaven הִשְׁקִ֪יף SDBH looks down עַֽל־ upon בְּנֵי־ SDBH the sons אָ֫דָ֥ם SDBH of men לִ֭רְאוֹת SDBH to see הֲיֵ֣שׁ if any מַשְׂכִּ֑יל SDBH understand דֹּ֝רֵשׁ SDBH if any seek אֶת־ SDBH - אֱלֹהִֽים׃ SDBH G-d

Hashem looked down from Shomayim upon Bnei Adam, to see if there is any with seichel, that seeketh Elohim.

הַכֹּ֥ל All סָר֮ SDBH have turned away יַחְדָּ֪ו SDBH they have together נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ SDBH become corrupt אֵ֤ין SDBH there is no עֹֽשֵׂה־ SDBH one who does ט֑וֹב SDBH good אֵ֝֗ין SDBH not גַּם־ SDBH even אֶחָֽד׃ SDBH one

They are all turned aside, they are all together become corrupt; there is none that doeth tov, no, not one.

הֲלֹ֥א SDBH never יָדְעוּ֮ SDBH learn כָּל־ . . . פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י SDBH Will the workers אָ֥וֶן SDBH of iniquity אֹכְלֵ֣י SDBH They devour עַ֭מִּי SDBH my people אָ֣כְלוּ SDBH [like] לֶ֑חֶם SDBH bread יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi לֹ֣א SDBH they refuse קָרָֽאוּ׃ SDBH to call upon

Have all the workers of iniquity no da'as? Who eat up my people as they eat lechem, and call not upon Hashem.

שָׁ֤ם׀ SDBH There they are פָּ֣חֲדוּ SDBH overwhelmed פָ֑חַד SDBH with dread כִּֽי־ for אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים SDBH G-d בְּד֣וֹר SDBH [is] in the company צַדִּֽיק׃ SDBH of the righteous

There they shall be in great dread, for Elohim is with the dor tzaddik.

עֲצַת־ SDBH the plans עָנִ֥י SDBH of the oppressed תָבִ֑ישׁוּ SDBH You [sinners] frustrate כִּ֖י yet יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מַחְסֵֽהוּ׃ SDBH is their shelter

Would ye confound the etzah (counsel, plan) of the oni (poor), for Hashem is indeed his refuge!

מִ֥י SDBH Oh, that יִתֵּ֣ן would come מִצִּיּוֹן֮ SDBH from Zion יְשׁוּעַ֪ת SDBH the salvation יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל SDBH of Israel בְּשׁ֣וּב SDBH restores יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi שְׁב֣וּת SDBH His captive עַמּ֑וֹ SDBH people יָגֵ֥ל SDBH rejoice יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב SDBH let Jacob יִשְׂמַ֥ח SDBH be glad יִשְׂרָֽאֵל׃ SDBH let Israel

Oh that the Yeshuah (salvation) of Yisroel were come out of Tziyon! When Hashem turns misfortune and brings back the captives of His people, Ya'akov shall rejoice, and Yisroel shall be glad.
