Chochmah hath built her bais, she hath hewn out her seven ammudim;
She hath prepared her meat; she hath mixed her yayin; she hath also set her shulchan.

שָֽׁלְחָ֣ה SDBH She has sent out נַעֲרֹתֶ֣יהָ SDBH her maidservants תִקְרָ֑א SDBH she calls out עַל־ from גַּ֝פֵּ֗י SDBH vvv מְרֹ֣מֵי SDBH the heights קָֽרֶת׃ SDBH of the city
She hath sent forth her na'arot; she calleth from the highest points of the city;

מִי־ SDBH Whoever פֶ֭תִי SDBH [is] simple יָסֻ֣ר SDBH let him turn in הֵ֑נָּה SDBH here חֲסַר־ SDBH who lacks לֵ֝֗ב SDBH judgment אָ֣מְרָה SDBH she says לּֽוֹ׃ to him
Whosoever is simple, let him turn in here; as for him that lacketh lev (a heart of understanding), she saith to him,
Come, eat of my lechem, and drink of the yayin which I have mixed [Yn 6:53-54 OJBC].
Forsake the simple ways, and live; and go in the derech binah.

יֹ֤סֵ֨ר׀ SDBH He who corrects לֵ֗ץ SDBH a mocker לֹקֵ֣חַֽ SDBH brings ל֣וֹ on himself קָל֑וֹן SDBH shame וּמוֹכִ֖יחַ SDBH he who rebukes לְרָשָׁ֣ע SDBH a wicked [man] מוּמֽוֹ׃ SDBH taints himself
He that reproveth a letz (mocker) getteth to himself shame, and he that is a mochiach (reprover) of a wicked man getteth himself a blot stain.
Reprove not a letz, lest he hate thee; rebuke a chacham, and he will love thee.

תֵּ֣ן Instruct לְ֭חָכָם SDBH a wise man וְיֶחְכַּם־ SDBH and he will be wiser ע֑וֹד still הוֹדַ֥ע SDBH teach לְ֝צַדִּ֗יק SDBH a righteous man וְי֣וֹסֶף SDBH and he will increase לֶֽקַח׃פ SDBH [his] learning
Give instruction to a chacham, and he will be yet wiser; teach a tzaddik, and he will increase in learning.

תְּחִלַּ֣ת SDBH is the beginning חָ֭כְמָה SDBH of wisdom יִרְאַ֣ת SDBH The fear יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְדַ֖עַת SDBH and knowledge קְדֹשִׁ֣ים SDBH of the Holy One בִּינָֽה׃ SDBH is understanding
The Yirat Hashem is the beginning of chochmah, and the da'as Kedoshim (knowledge of the Holy One) is binah (understanding).

כִּי־ For בִ֭י through [wisdom] יִרְבּ֣וּ will be multiplied יָמֶ֑יךָ SDBH your days וְיוֹסִ֥יפוּ SDBH will be added לְּ֝ךָ֗ שְׁנ֣וֹת SDBH and years חַיִּֽים׃ SDBH to your life
For by me thy yamim shall be multiplied, and shanot chayyim shall be increased to thee.

אִם־ SDBH If חָ֭כַמְתָּ SDBH you are wise חָכַ֣מְתָּ SDBH you are wise לָּ֑ךְ to your own advantage וְ֝לַ֗צְתָּ SDBH but if you scoff לְֽבַדְּךָ֥ SDBH you alone תִשָּֽׂא׃ SDBH will bear [the consequences]
If thou be chacham, thou shalt be wise for thyself, but if thou mockest, thou alone shalt suffer.
Aishes Kesilut (Dame Folly) is clamorous; she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
For she sitteth at the petach (doorway) of her bais, on a seat in the high places of the city,
To call those passing on the derech (road) who go straight on their way:

מִי־ SDBH Whoever פֶ֭תִי SDBH [is] simple יָסֻ֣ר SDBH let him turn in הֵ֑נָּה SDBH here וַחֲסַר־ SDBH who lacks לֵ֝֗ב SDBH judgment וְאָ֣מְרָה SDBH she says לּֽוֹ׃ to him
Whoso is simple, let him turn in here, and as for him that lacketh lev (heart of understanding), she saith to him,
Stolen waters are sweet, and lechem eaten in secret is pleasant.
18
וְֽלֹא־ SDBH But they do not יָ֭דַע SDBH know כִּֽי־ that רְפָאִ֣ים SDBH the dead שָׁ֑ם SDBH are there בְּעִמְקֵ֖י SDBH [are] in the depths שְׁא֣וֹל SDBH of Sheol קְרֻאֶֽיהָ׃פ SDBH that her guests
But he has no da'as that the dead ones are there; and that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
