Hoshea 14 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

שׁ֚וּבָה SDBH Return יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH O Israel עַ֖ד SDBH to יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ SDBH your G-d כִּ֥י for כָשַׁ֖לְתָּ SDBH you have stumbled בַּעֲוֺנֶֽךָ׃ SDBH by your iniquity

O Yisroel, return unto Hashem Eloheicha; for thy downfall hast been thine avon (iniquity).

קְח֤וּ SDBH Bring עִמָּכֶם֙ your דְּבָרִ֔ים SDBH confessions וְשׁ֖וּבוּ SDBH and return אֶל־ to יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אִמְר֣וּ SDBH Say אֵלָ֗יו to Him כָּל־ all תִּשָּׂ֤א SDBH Take away עָוֺן֙ SDBH our iniquity וְקַח־ SDBH and receive ט֔וֹב SDBH [us] graciously וּֽנְשַׁלְּמָ֥ה SDBH that we may present פָרִ֖ים SDBH the fruit שְׂפָתֵֽינוּ׃ SDBH of our lips

Take devarim (words) with you, and turn to Hashem; say unto Him, Take away avon (iniquity), and receive us graciously that we may render the sacrifices of our lips.[MJ 13:15]

אַשּׁ֣וּר׀ SDBH Assyria לֹ֣א SDBH will not יוֹשִׁיעֵ֗נוּ SDBH save us עַל־ on סוּס֙ SDBH horses לֹ֣א SDBH nor will we נִרְכָּ֔ב SDBH ride וְלֹא־ SDBH We will never again נֹ֥אמַר SDBH say ע֛וֹד . . . אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ SDBH Our g-ds לְמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה SDBH to the work יָדֵ֑ינוּ SDBH of our own hands אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH For בְּךָ֖ in You יְרֻחַ֥ם SDBH find compassion יָתֽוֹם׃ SDBH the fatherless

Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride upon susim; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are Eloheinu; for in Thee the yatom (orphan) findeth compassion.

אֶרְפָּא֙ SDBH I will heal מְשׁ֣וּבָתָ֔ם SDBH their apostasy אֹהֲבֵ֖ם SDBH love them נְדָבָ֑ה SDBH I will freely כִּ֛י for שָׁ֥ב SDBH has turned away אַפִּ֖י SDBH My anger מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ from them

I will heal their meshuvah (backsliding); I will love them freely; for Mine anger is turned away from him.

אֶהְיֶ֤ה I will be כַטַּל֙ SDBH like the dew לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH to Israel יִפְרַ֖ח SDBH he will blossom כַּשּֽׁוֹשַׁנָּ֑ה SDBH like the lily וְיַ֥ךְ SDBH and take שָׁרָשָׁ֖יו SDBH root כַּלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ SDBH like the cedars of Lebanon

I will be as the tal (dew) unto Yisroel: he shall blossom as the lily, and strike root as Levanon.

יֵֽלְכוּ֙ SDBH will sprout יֹֽנְקוֹתָ֔יו SDBH His shoots וִיהִ֥י will be כַזַּ֖יִת SDBH like the olive tree הוֹד֑וֹ SDBH and his splendor וְרֵ֥יחַֽ SDBH his fragrance ל֖וֹ כַּלְּבָנֽוֹן׃ SDBH like [the cedars of] Lebanon

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the zayit (olive tree), and his hod (splendor) as Levanon.

יָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ SDBH They will return יֹשְׁבֵ֣י SDBH and dwell בְצִלּ֔וֹ SDBH in his shade יְחַיּ֥וּ SDBH they will grow דָגָ֖ן SDBH grain וְיִפְרְח֣וּ SDBH and blossom כַגָּ֑פֶן SDBH like the vine זִכְר֖וֹ SDBH His renown will be כְּיֵ֥ין SDBH like the wine לְבָנֽוֹן׃ס SDBH of Lebanon

They that dwell under his tzel (shade) shall return; they shall revive as the dagan, and grow as the gefen; the remembrance thereof shall be as the yayin of Levanon.

אֶפְרַ֕יִם SDBH O Ephraim מַה־ SDBH what לִּ֥י have I to do ע֖וֹד anymore לָֽעֲצַבִּ֑ים SDBH with idols אֲנִ֧י SDBH It is I עָנִ֣יתִי SDBH who answer וַאֲשׁוּרֶ֗נּוּ SDBH and watch over him אֲנִי֙ SDBH I [am] like כִּבְר֣וֹשׁ SDBH cypress רַֽעֲנָ֔ן SDBH a flourishing מִמֶּ֖נִּי from Me פֶּרְיְךָ֥ SDBH your fruit נִמְצָֽא׃ SDBH comes

Ephrayim shall say, What have I to do any more with atzabim? It is I who answer and look after him; I am like an evergreen cypress. From Me is thy p'ri found.

מִ֤י SDBH Whoever חָכָם֙ SDBH is wise וְיָ֣בֵֽן SDBH let him understand אֵ֔לֶּה SDBH these things נָב֖וֹן SDBH [whoever] is discerning וְיֵֽדָעֵ֑ם SDBH let him know them כִּֽי־ For יְשָׁרִ֞ים SDBH are right דַּרְכֵ֣י SDBH the ways יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְצַדִּקִים֙ SDBH and the righteous יֵ֣לְכוּ SDBH walk בָ֔ם in them וּפֹשְׁעִ֖ים SDBH but the rebellious יִכָּ֥שְׁלוּ SDBH stumble בָֽם׃ in them

Who is chacham, and he shall have binah of these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the Darkhei Hashem are right, and the tzaddikim shall walk in them; but the poshe'im (transgressors) shall fall therein. T.N. IN THE NEXT BOOK WE HAVE THE PROPHECY THAT THE RUACH HAKODESH WILL BE POURED OUT IN THE LAST DAYS AND EVEN THE MOST HUMBLE PEOPLE WILL BE EMPOWERED THEREBY TO WITNESS. WHEN 120 MESSIANIC SPIRITFILLED JEWISH PEOPLE BEGAN TO PREACH THE BESURAS HAGEULAH FOR THE FIRST TIME, THEY KNEW THAT SOMETHING OF THIS VERY PROPHECY HAD COME TO PASS (SEE AC CHP 2).
