Yechezkel 44 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

1

וַיָּ֣שֶׁב SDBH The man then brought me back אֹתִ֗י SDBH - דֶּ֣רֶךְ SDBH to שַׁ֤עַר SDBH gate הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ SDBH of the sanctuary הַֽחִיצ֔וֹן SDBH the outer הַפֹּנֶ֖ה SDBH that faced קָדִ֑ים SDBH east וְה֖וּא SDBH but it סָגֽוּר׃ SDBH was shut

Then he [the angelic being] brought me back the derech sha'ar HaMikdash HaKhitzon, which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר SDBH said אֵלַ֜י to me יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הַשַּׁ֣עַר SDBH gate הַזֶּה֩ SDBH This סָג֨וּר SDBH shut יִהְיֶ֜ה is to remain לֹ֣א SDBH It shall not יִפָּתֵ֗חַ SDBH be opened וְאִישׁ֙ SDBH man לֹא־ SDBH and no יָ֣בֹא SDBH shall enter ב֔וֹ through it כִּ֛י because יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֱלֹהֵֽי־ SDBH the G-d יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל SDBH of Israel בָּ֣א SDBH has entered ב֑וֹ through it וְהָיָ֖ה Therefore it will remain סָגֽוּר׃ SDBH shut

Then said Hashem unto me: This sha'ar shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no ish shall enter in by it; because Hashem Elohei Yisroel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

אֶֽת־ SDBH - הַנָּשִׂ֗יא SDBH Only the prince נָ֥שִׂיא SDBH . . . ה֛וּא SDBH himself יֵֽשֶׁב־ SDBH may sit בּ֥וֹ inside the gateway לֶאֱכָול־ SDBH to eat לֶ֖חֶם . . . לִפְנֵ֣י in the presence of יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מִדֶּ֨רֶךְ SDBH by way אֻלָ֤ם SDBH of the portico הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ SDBH of the gateway יָב֔וֹא SDBH He must enter וּמִדַּרְכּ֖וֹ SDBH the same way יֵצֵֽא׃ SDBH and go out

It is for the Nasi; the Nasi [see 34:23-24; 37:24-25, a |Dovid| or Messianic figure], he only shall sit in it to eat lechem before Hashem; he shall enter by the derech ulam hasha'ar, and shall exit by its derech.

וַיְבִיאֵ֜נִי SDBH Then the man brought me דֶּֽרֶךְ־ SDBH by way שַׁ֣עַר SDBH gate הַצָּפוֹן֮ SDBH of the north אֶל־ to פְּנֵ֣י the front הַבַּיִת֒ SDBH of the temple וָאֵ֕רֶא SDBH I looked וְהִנֵּ֛ה and saw מָלֵ֥א SDBH filling כְבוֹד־ SDBH the glory יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֶת־ SDBH - בֵּ֣ית SDBH temple יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וָאֶפֹּ֖ל SDBH and I fell אֶל־ facedown פָּנָֽי׃ . . .

Then he [the angelic being] brought me the derech sha'ar hatzafon to the front of the Beis {HaMikdash]; and I looked, and, hinei, the Kavod Hashem filled the Beis Hashem; and I fell upon my face.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר SDBH said אֵלַ֜י to me יְהֹוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בֶּן־ SDBH Son אָדָ֡ם SDBH of man שִׂ֣ים SDBH pay attention לִבְּךָ֩ SDBH . . . וּרְאֵ֨ה SDBH look carefully בְעֵינֶ֜יךָ SDBH with your eyes וּבְאָזְנֶ֣יךָ SDBH with your ears שְּׁמָ֗ע SDBH and listen closely אֵ֣ת SDBH - כָּל־ to everything אֲשֶׁ֤ר SDBH - אֲנִי֙ SDBH I מְדַבֵּ֣ר SDBH tell אֹתָ֔ךְ SDBH you לְכָל־ concerning all חֻקּ֥וֹת SDBH the statutes בֵּית־ SDBH of the house יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וּלְכָל־ and תּוֹרֹתוֹ SDBH laws וְשַׂמְתָּ֤ SDBH Take careful note לִבְּךָ֙ SDBH . . . לִמְב֣וֹא SDBH of the entrance הַבַּ֔יִת SDBH to the temple בְּכֹ֖ל along with all מוֹצָאֵ֥י SDBH the exits הַמִּקְדָּֽשׁ׃ SDBH of the sanctuary

And Hashem said unto me, Ben Adam, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the chukkot Beis Hashem, and all the torot thereof; and mark well the entrances of the Beis [HaMikdash], with every exit of the Mikdash.

וְאָמַרְתָּ֤ SDBH Tell אֶל־ . . . מֶ֙רִי֙ SDBH the rebellious אֶל־ . . . בֵּ֣ית SDBH house יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH of Israel כֹּ֥ה that this is what אָמַ֖ר SDBH says אֲדֹנָ֣י SDBH the Lord יְהוִ֑ה SDBH G-D רַב־ SDBH I have had enough לָכֶ֛ם מִֽכָּל־ of all תּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם SDBH your abominations בֵּ֥ית SDBH O house יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ SDBH of Israel

And thou shalt say to the meri (rebellious), even to the Bais Yisroel, Thus saith Adonoi Hashem; O ye Bais Yisroel, let it suffice you of all your to'avot (abominations),

בַּהֲבִיאֲכֶ֣ם SDBH you brought in בְּנֵֽי־ SDBH foreigners נֵכָ֗ר SDBH . . . עַרְלֵי־ SDBH uncircumcised לֵב֙ SDBH in both heart וְעַרְלֵ֣י SDBH . . . בָשָׂ֔ר SDBH and flesh לִהְי֥וֹת to occupy בְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י SDBH My sanctuary לְחַלְּל֣וֹ SDBH you defiled אֶת־ SDBH - בֵּיתִ֑י SDBH My temple בְּהַקְרִֽיבְכֶ֤ם SDBH when you offered אֶת־ SDBH - לַחְמִי֙ SDBH My food חֵ֣לֶב SDBH the fat וָדָ֔ם SDBH and the blood וַיָּפֵ֙רוּ֙ SDBH you broke אֶת־ SDBH - בְּרִיתִ֔י SDBH My covenant אֶ֖ל In addition כָּל־ to all תּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ SDBH your other abominations

In that ye have admitted into My Mikdash bnei nechor (foreigners), arelim in lev, and arelim in basar, to be in My Mikdash, to defile it, even My Beis, when ye offer My lechem, the chelev and the dahm, and they have broken My Brit (Covenant) because of all your to'avot (abominations).

וְלֹ֥א SDBH And you have not שְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם SDBH kept מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת SDBH charge קָדָשָׁ֑י SDBH of My holy things וַתְּשִׂימ֗וּן SDBH but have appointed לְשֹׁמְרֵ֧י SDBH others to keep מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֛י SDBH charge בְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י SDBH of My sanctuary לָכֶֽם׃ for you

And ye have not been shomer over the mishmeret of Mine Kadashim; but ye have set as shomrim of My mishmeret in My Mikdash any for yourselves.

9

כֹּה־ This is what אָמַר֮ SDBH says אֲדֹנָ֣י SDBH the Lord יְהוִה֒ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כָּל־ No בֶּן־ SDBH foreigner נֵכָ֗ר SDBH . . . עֶ֤רֶל SDBH uncircumcised לֵב֙ SDBH in heart וְעֶ֣רֶל SDBH . . . בָּשָׂ֔ר SDBH and flesh לֹ֥א SDBH - יָב֖וֹא SDBH may enter אֶל־ . . . מִקְדָּשִׁ֑י SDBH My sanctuary לְכָל־ . . . בֶּן־ SDBH not even a foreigner נֵכָ֔ר SDBH . . . אֲשֶׁ֕ר SDBH who בְּת֖וֹךְ SDBH lives among בְּנֵ֥י SDBH the Israelites יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ SDBH . . .

Thus saith Adonoi Hashem: No ben nechor, arel lev, nor arel basar, shall enter into My Mikdash, of any ben nechor that is among the Bnei Yisroel.

10

כִּ֣י Surely אִם־ SDBH . . . הַלְוִיִּ֗ם SDBH the Levites אֲשֶׁ֤ר SDBH who רָֽחֲקוּ֙ SDBH wandered away מֵֽעָלַ֔י from Me בִּתְע֤וֹת SDBH went astray יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ SDBH when Israel אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH and who תָּע֣וּ SDBH wandered מֵֽעָלַ֔י away from Me אַחֲרֵ֖י SDBH after גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑ם SDBH their idols וְנָשְׂא֖וּ SDBH will bear the consequences עֲוֺנָֽם׃ SDBH of their iniquity

And the Levi'im that went far away from Me, when Yisroel went astray, which went astray away from Me after their gillulim (idols); they shall even bear their avon.

11

וְהָי֤וּ Yet they shall be בְמִקְדָּשִׁי֙ SDBH in My sanctuary מְשָׁ֣רְתִ֔ים SDBH ministers פְּקֻדּוֹת֙ SDBH [having] charge אֶל־ of שַׁעֲרֵ֣י SDBH the gates הַבַּ֔יִת SDBH of the temple וּֽמְשָׁרְתִ֖ים SDBH and ministering אֶת־ SDBH - הַבָּ֑יִת SDBH [there] הֵ֠מָּה SDBH They יִשְׁחֲט֨וּ SDBH shall slaughter אֶת־ SDBH - הָעֹלָ֤ה SDBH the burnt offerings וְאֶת־ SDBH - הַזֶּ֙בַח֙ SDBH and other sacrifices לָעָ֔ם SDBH for the people וְהֵ֛מָּה SDBH . . . יַעַמְד֥וּ SDBH and stand לִפְנֵיהֶ֖ם before them לְשָֽׁרְתָֽם׃ SDBH to minister to them

Yet they shall be mesharetim (ministers) in My Mikdash, pekuddot (the ones who have charge) at the Sha'arei HaBeis [HaMikdash] and mesharetim in HaBeis [HaMikdash]; they shall do the shochet slaughter of the olah (burnt offering) and the zevach for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.

12

יַ֗עַן SDBH Because אֲשֶׁ֨ר SDBH - יְשָׁרְת֤וּ SDBH they ministered אוֹתָם֙ SDBH - לִפְנֵ֣י before גִלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֔ם SDBH their idols וְהָי֥וּ and became לְבֵֽית־ SDBH to the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל SDBH of Israel לְמִכְשׁ֣וֹל SDBH a stumbling block עָוֺ֑ן SDBH of iniquity עַל־ therefore כֵּן֩ SDBH . . . נָשָׂ֨אתִי SDBH I swore with an uplifted יָדִ֜י SDBH hand עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם concerning them נְאֻם֙ SDBH declares אֲדֹנָ֣י SDBH the Lord יְהוִ֔ה SDBH G-D וְנָשְׂא֖וּ SDBH that they would bear the consequences עֲוֺנָֽם׃ SDBH of their iniquity

Because they ministered unto them before their gillulim, and caused Bais Yisroel a michshol avon; therefore have I lifted up Mine Yad against them, saith Adonoi Hashem, and nas'u (they shall bear) their avon.

13

וְלֹֽא־ SDBH They must not יִגְּשׁ֤וּ SDBH approach אֵלַי֙ Me לְכַהֵ֣ן SDBH to serve Me as priests לִ֔י וְלָגֶ֙שֶׁת֙ SDBH or come near עַל־ . . . כָּל־ any קָ֣דָשַׁ֔י SDBH of My holy things אֶל־ . . . קָדְשֵׁ֖י SDBH or the most holy things הַקְּדָשִׁ֑ים SDBH . . . וְנָֽשְׂאוּ֙ SDBH They will bear כְּלִמָּתָ֔ם SDBH the shame וְתוֹעֲבוֹתָ֖ם SDBH of the abominations אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH - עָשֽׂוּ׃ SDBH they have committed

And they shall not come near unto Me, to do the office of a Kohen unto Me, nor to come near to any of My kadashim, in the Kodesh HaKodashim; but nas'u their shame, and their to'avot which they have committed.

14

וְנָתַתִּ֣י Yet I will appoint אוֹתָ֔ם SDBH them שֹׁמְרֵ֖י SDBH to keep מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת SDBH charge הַבָּ֑יִת SDBH for the temple לְכֹל֙ of all עֲבֹ֣דָת֔וֹ SDBH the work וּלְכֹ֛ל and everything אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH - יֵעָשֶׂ֖ה SDBH to be done בּֽוֹ׃פ in it

But I will make them Shomrei Meshmeret HaBeis [HaMikdash], for all the avodah thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.

15

וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים SDBH priests הַלְוִיִּ֜ם SDBH But the Levitical בְּנֵ֣י SDBH who are descended צָד֗וֹק SDBH from Zadok אֲשֶׁ֨ר SDBH and who שָׁמְר֜וּ SDBH kept אֶת־ SDBH - מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת SDBH charge מִקְדָּשִׁי֙ SDBH of My sanctuary בִּתְע֤וֹת SDBH went astray בְּנֵֽי־ SDBH when the Israelites יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ SDBH . . . מֵֽעָלַ֔י from Me הֵ֛מָּה SDBH . . . יִקְרְב֥וּ SDBH are to approach אֵלַ֖י Me לְשָֽׁרְתֵ֑נִי SDBH to minister before Me וְעָמְד֣וּ SDBH They will stand לְפָנַ֗י before Me לְהַקְרִ֥יב SDBH to offer לִי֙ Me חֵ֣לֶב SDBH fat וָדָ֔ם SDBH and blood נְאֻ֖ם SDBH declares אֲדֹנָ֥י SDBH the Lord יְהוִֽה׃ SDBH G-D

But the Kohanim the Levi'im, the Bnei Tzadok, that were shomer over the Mishmeret of My Mikdash when the Bnei Yisroel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister unto Me, and they shall stand before Me to offer unto Me the chelev and the dahm, saith Adonoi Hashem;

16

הֵ֜מָּה SDBH They alone יָבֹ֣אוּ SDBH shall enter אֶל־ . . . מִקְדָּשִׁ֗י SDBH My sanctuary וְהֵ֛מָּה SDBH . . . יִקְרְב֥וּ SDBH and draw near אֶל־ to שֻׁלְחָנִ֖י SDBH My table לְשָׁרְתֵ֑נִי SDBH to minister before Me וְשָׁמְר֖וּ SDBH They will keep אֶת־ SDBH - מִשְׁמַרְתִּֽי׃ SDBH My charge

They shall enter into My Mikdash, and they shall come near to My Shulchan, to minister unto Me, and they shall be shomer over My mishmeret.

17

וְהָיָ֗ה - בְּבוֹאָם֙ SDBH When they enter אֶֽל־ . . . שַׁעֲרֵי֙ SDBH the gates הֶחָצֵ֣ר SDBH court הַפְּנִימִ֔ית SDBH of the inner בִּגְדֵ֥י SDBH garments פִשְׁתִּ֖ים SDBH linen יִלְבָּ֑שׁוּ SDBH they are to wear וְלֹֽא־ SDBH they must not יַעֲלֶ֤ה SDBH wear עֲלֵיהֶם֙ צֶ֔מֶר SDBH anything made of wool בְּשָֽׁרְתָ֗ם SDBH when they minister בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛י SDBH at the gates הֶחָצֵ֥ר SDBH court הַפְּנִימִ֖ית SDBH of the inner וָבָֽיְתָה׃ SDBH or inside [the temple]

And it shall come to pass, when they enter in at the Sha'arei HeKhatzer HaPenimit, they shall be clothed with linen; and no tzemer shall come upon them, while they minister at the Sha'arei HeKhatzer HaPenimit, within.

18

פַּאֲרֵ֤י SDBH turbans פִשְׁתִּים֙ SDBH They are to wear linen יִהְי֣וּ . . . עַל־ on רֹאשָׁ֔ם SDBH their heads וּמִכְנְסֵ֣י SDBH undergarments פִשְׁתִּ֔ים SDBH and linen יִהְי֖וּ . . . עַל־ around מָתְנֵיהֶ֑ם SDBH their waists לֹ֥א SDBH They must not יַחְגְּר֖וּ SDBH wear בַּיָּֽזַע׃ SDBH anything that makes them perspire

They shall have linen turbans upon their rosh, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with that [clothing] with which one perspires.

19

וּ֠בְצֵאתָם SDBH When they go out אֶל־ to הֶחָצֵ֨ר SDBH court הַחִיצוֹנָ֜ה SDBH the outer אֶל־ to הֶחָצֵ֣ר SDBH . . . הַחִיצוֹנָה֮ SDBH . . . אֶל־ . . . הָעָם֒ SDBH the people יִפְשְׁט֣וּ SDBH they are to take off אֶת־ SDBH - בִּגְדֵיהֶ֗ם SDBH the garments אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH in which הֵ֙מָּה֙ SDBH they מְשָׁרְתִ֣ם SDBH have ministered בָּ֔ם וְהִנִּ֥יחוּ SDBH leave אוֹתָ֖ם SDBH them בְּלִֽשְׁכֹ֣ת SDBH chambers הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ SDBH in the holy וְלָֽבְשׁוּ֙ SDBH and dress בְּגָדִ֣ים SDBH clothes אֲחֵרִ֔ים SDBH in other וְלֹֽא־ SDBH so that they do not יְקַדְּשׁ֥וּ SDBH transmit holiness אֶת־ SDBH - הָעָ֖ם SDBH to the people בְּבִגְדֵיהֶֽם׃ SDBH with their garments

And when they go forth into HaKhatzer HaKhitzonah, even into the Khatzer HaKhitzonah to HaAm, they shall take off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the lishkhot hakodesh (holy chambers) and they shall put on begadim acharim; and they shall not set apart as kodesh HaAm with their begadim.

20

וְרֹאשָׁם֙ SDBH their heads לֹ֣א SDBH They must not יְגַלֵּ֔חוּ SDBH shave וּפֶ֖רַע SDBH or let their hair לֹ֣א SDBH . . . יְשַׁלֵּ֑חוּ SDBH grow long כָּס֥וֹם SDBH but must carefully trim יִכְסְמ֖וּ SDBH . . . אֶת־ SDBH - רָאשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ SDBH their hair

Neither shall they shave their rosh, nor allow their hair to grow long; they shall keep trimmed their rosh.

21

וְיַ֥יִן SDBH wine לֹֽא־ SDBH No יִשְׁתּ֖וּ SDBH may drink כָּל־ . . . כֹּהֵ֑ן SDBH priest בְּבוֹאָ֖ם SDBH before he enters אֶל־ . . . הֶחָצֵ֥ר SDBH court הַפְּנִימִֽית׃ SDBH the inner

Neither shall any Kohen drink yayin, when they enter into the Khatzer HaPenimit.

22

וְאַלְמָנָה֙ SDBH a widow וּגְרוּשָׁ֔ה SDBH or a divorced woman לֹֽא־ SDBH And they shall not יִקְח֥וּ SDBH marry לָהֶ֖ם לְנָשִׁ֑ים SDBH . . . כִּ֣י אִם־ SDBH but בְּתוּלֹ֗ת SDBH a virgin מִזֶּ֙רַע֙ SDBH of the descendants בֵּ֣ית SDBH of the house יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH of Israel וְהָֽאַלְמָנָה֙ SDBH . . . אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH - תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה - אַלְמָנָ֔ה SDBH or a widow מִכֹּהֵ֖ן SDBH of a priest יִקָּֽחוּ׃ SDBH must marry

Neither shall they take for their nashim an almanah, nor a gerushah; but they shall take betulot of the zera Bais Yisroel, or an almanah who was almanah of a Kohen.

23

וְאֶת־ SDBH - עַמִּ֣י SDBH My people יוֹר֔וּ SDBH They are to teach בֵּ֥ין SDBH the difference between קֹ֖דֶשׁ SDBH the holy לְחֹ֑ל SDBH and the common וּבֵין־ SDBH between טָמֵ֥א SDBH and the unclean לְטָה֖וֹר SDBH the clean יוֹדִעֻֽם׃ SDBH and show them how to discern

And they shall teach My people the difference between the kodesh and chol, and cause them to discern between the tameh and the tahor.

24

וְעַל־ In רִ֗יב SDBH any dispute הֵ֚מָּה SDBH they יַעַמְד֣וּ SDBH shall officiate לִשְׁפֹּט SDBH as judges בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י SDBH according to My ordinances וְשָׁפְטֻהוּ SDBH [and] judge וְאֶת־ SDBH תּוֹרֹתַ֤י SDBH My laws וְאֶת־ SDBH and חֻקֹּתַי֙ SDBH statutes בְּכָל־ regarding all מוֹעֲדַ֣י SDBH My appointed feasts יִשְׁמֹ֔רוּ SDBH They must keep וְאֶת־ SDBH - שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י SDBH and they must keep My Sabbaths יְקַדֵּֽשׁוּ׃ SDBH holy

And in a riv they shall stand as shofet; and they shall judge it according to My mishpatim; and they shall adjudicate them in accordance with My torot and My chukkot in all Mine mo'adim; and they shall be shomer to keep My Shabbatot kodesh.

25

וְאֶל־ near מֵ֣ת SDBH a dead אָדָ֔ם SDBH person לֹ֥א SDBH A priest must not יָב֖וֹא SDBH by going לְטָמְאָ֑ה SDBH defile himself כִּ֣י However אִם־ SDBH . . . לְאָ֡ב SDBH for a father וּ֠לְאֵם SDBH a mother וּלְבֵ֨ן SDBH a son וּלְבַ֜ת SDBH a daughter לְאָ֗ח SDBH a brother וּלְאָח֛וֹת SDBH sister אֲשֶֽׁר־ SDBH - לֹא־ SDBH or an unmarried הָיְתָ֥ה . . . לְאִ֖ישׁ SDBH . . . יִטַּמָּֽאוּ׃ SDBH he may do so

And they shall come near no met adam to make themselves tameh; but for av, or for em, or for ben, or for bat, for ach, or for achot that hath had no ish, they may make themselves tameh.

26

וְאַחֲרֵ֖י SDBH and after טָֽהֳרָת֑וֹ SDBH he is cleansed שִׁבְעַ֥ת SDBH off seven יָמִ֖ים SDBH days יִסְפְּרוּ־ SDBH he must count לֽוֹ׃ for himself

And after he is made tahor, they shall reckon unto him shivat yamim.

27

וּבְיוֹם֩ SDBH And on the day בֹּא֨וֹ SDBH he goes אֶל־ into הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ SDBH the sanctuary אֶל־ into הֶחָצֵ֤ר SDBH court הַפְּנִימִית֙ SDBH the inner לְשָׁרֵ֣ת SDBH to minister בַּקֹּ֔דֶשׁ SDBH in the sanctuary יַקְרִ֖יב SDBH he must present חַטָּאת֑וֹ SDBH his sin offering נְאֻ֖ם SDBH declares אֲדֹנָ֥י SDBH the Lord יְהוִֽה׃ SDBH G-D

And in the yom that he goeth into the Kodesh, unto the Khatzer HaPenimit, to minister in the Kodesh, he shall offer his chattat, saith Adonoi Hashem.

וְהָיְתָ֤ה In regard to לָהֶם֙ their לְֽנַחֲלָ֔ה SDBH inheritance אֲנִ֖י SDBH I am נַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם SDBH their inheritance וַאֲחֻזָּ֗ה SDBH possession לֹֽא־ SDBH no תִתְּנ֤וּ You are to give לָהֶם֙ them בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH in Israel אֲנִ֖י SDBH for I [am] אֲחֻזָּתָֽם׃ SDBH their possession

And it shall be unto them for a nachalah; I am their nachalah; and ye shall give them no achuzzah in Yisroel; I am their achuzzah.

29

הַמִּנְחָה֙ SDBH the grain offerings וְהַחַטָּ֣את SDBH the sin offerings וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם SDBH and the guilt offerings הֵ֖מָּה SDBH They יֹֽאכְל֑וּם SDBH shall eat וְכָל־ Everything חֵ֥רֶם SDBH devoted בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל SDBH in Israel לָהֶ֥ם will belong to them יִהְיֶֽה׃ to the LORD

They shall eat the minchah, and the chattat, and the asham; and kol cherem in Yisroel shall be theirs.

30

וְרֵאשִׁית֩ SDBH The best כָּל־ of all בִּכּ֨וּרֵי SDBH the firstfruits כֹ֜ל - וְכָל־ and of every תְּר֣וּמַת SDBH contribution כֹּ֗ל - מִכֹּל֙ from all תְּרוּמ֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם SDBH your offerings לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים SDBH the priests יִֽהְיֶ֑ה will belong to וְרֵאשִׁ֤ית SDBH your first עֲרִסֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ SDBH batch of dough תִּתְּנ֣וּ You are to give לַכֹּהֵ֔ן SDBH to the priest לְהָנִ֥יחַ SDBH may rest בְּרָכָ֖ה SDBH so that a blessing אֶל־ upon בֵּיתֶֽךָ׃ SDBH your homes

And the reshit kol bikkurim of all things, and every terumah of all, of every sort of your terumot, shall belong to the Kohanim; ye shall also give unto the Kohen the reshit of your dough, that he may cause the bracha to rest on thine bais.

31

כָּל־ any נְבֵלָה֙ SDBH found dead וּטְרֵפָ֔ה SDBH or torn [by] [wild] [beasts] מִן־ . . . הָע֖וֹף SDBH bird וּמִן־ . . . הַבְּהֵמָ֑ה SDBH or animal לֹ֥א SDBH may not יֹאכְל֖וּ SDBH eat הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃פ SDBH The priests

The Kohanim shall not eat of any thing nevelah, or terefah, whether it be oph or behemah.
