דִּבְרֵ֣י SDBH [These are] the words עָמ֔וֹס SDBH of Amos אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH who הָיָ֥ה was בַנֹּקְדִ֖ים SDBH among the sheepherders מִתְּק֑וֹעַ SDBH of Tekoa אֲשֶׁר֩ SDBH what חָזָ֨ה SDBH he saw עַל־ concerning יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל SDBH Israel בִּימֵ֣י׀ SDBH in the days עֻזִיָּ֣ה SDBH [when] Uzziah מֶֽלֶךְ־ SDBH [was] king יְהוּדָ֗ה SDBH of Judah וּבִימֵ֞י SDBH . . . יָרָבְעָ֤ם SDBH and Jeroboam בֶּן־ SDBH son יוֹאָשׁ֙ SDBH of Jehoash מֶ֣לֶךְ SDBH [was] king יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH of Israel שְׁנָתַ֖יִם SDBH two years לִפְנֵ֥י before הָרָֽעַשׁ׃ SDBH the earthquake

The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Yisroel in the yamim of Uziyah Melech Yehudah, and in the yamim of Yarov`am ben Yoash Melech Yisroel, two years before the earthquake.

וַיֹּאמַ֓ר׀ SDBH He said יְהוָה֙ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מִצִיּ֣וֹן SDBH from Zion יִשְׁאָ֔ג SDBH roars וּמִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם SDBH from Jerusalem יִתֵּ֣ן and raises קוֹל֑וֹ SDBH His voice וְאָֽבְלוּ֙ SDBH mourn נְא֣וֹת SDBH the pastures הָרֹעִ֔ים SDBH of the shepherds וְיָבֵ֖שׁ SDBH withers רֹ֥אשׁ SDBH and the summit הַכַּרְמֶֽל׃פ SDBH of Carmel

And he said, Hashem roars from Tziyon, and utters His voice from Yerushalayim; and the pastures of the ro'im (shepherds) mourn, and the summit of Mt Carmel withers.

כֹּ֚ה This is what אָמַ֣ר SDBH says יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ For שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ SDBH three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י SDBH transgressions דַמֶּ֔שֶׂק SDBH of Damascus וְעַל־ even אַרְבָּעָ֖ה SDBH four לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ SDBH revoke [My judgment] עַל־ because דּוּשָׁ֛ם SDBH they threshed בַּחֲרֻצ֥וֹת SDBH with sledges הַבַּרְזֶ֖ל SDBH of iron אֶת־ SDBH - הַגִּלְעָֽד׃ SDBH Gilead

Thus saith Hashem: For shloshah peysha'im of Damascus, even for arba'ah, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gil`ad with threshing sledges of barzel (iron);

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי SDBH So I will send אֵ֖שׁ SDBH fire בְּבֵ֣ית SDBH upon the house חֲזָאֵ֑ל SDBH of Hazael וְאָכְלָ֖ה SDBH to consume אַרְמְנ֥וֹת SDBH the citadels בֶּן־ SDBH of הֲדָֽד׃ SDBH Ben-hadad

But I will send an eish onto Bais Chatzael, which shall devour the fortresses of Ben-hadad.

וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ SDBH I will break down בְּרִ֣יחַ SDBH the gates דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק SDBH of Damascus וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י SDBH I will cut off יוֹשֵׁב֙ SDBH the ruler מִבִּקְעַת־ SDBH from the Valley of Aven אָ֔וֶן SDBH . . . וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ SDBH and the one who wields שֵׁ֖בֶט SDBH the scepter מִבֵּ֣ית SDBH in Beth-eden עֶ֑דֶן SDBH . . . וְגָל֧וּ SDBH will be exiled עַם־ SDBH The people אֲרָ֛ם SDBH of Aram קִ֖ירָה SDBH to Kir אָמַ֥ר SDBH says יְהוָֽה׃פ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

I will break down also the gate bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from BikeatAven, and him that holdeth the shevet (sceptre) from Bais Eden; and the people of Aram shall go into golus unto Kir, saith Hashem.

כֹּ֚ה This is what אָמַ֣ר SDBH says יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ For שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ SDBH three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י SDBH transgressions עַזָּ֔ה SDBH of Gaza וְעַל־ even אַרְבָּעָ֖ה SDBH four לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ SDBH revoke [My judgment] עַל־ because הַגְלוֹתָ֛ם SDBH they exiled גָּל֥וּת SDBH population שְׁלֵמָ֖ה SDBH a whole לְהַסְגִּ֥יר SDBH delivering [them] up לֶאֱדֽוֹם׃ SDBH to Edom

Thus saith Hashem: For shloshah peysha'im of Azah (Gaza), even for arba'ah, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the golus shleimah (entire exiled population), to deliver them up to Edom;

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי SDBH So I will send אֵ֖שׁ SDBH fire בְּחוֹמַ֣ת SDBH upon the walls עַזָּ֑ה SDBH of Gaza וְאָכְלָ֖ה SDBH to consume אַרְמְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ SDBH its citadels

But I will send an eish on the chomah (wall) of Azah (Gaza), which shall devour the fortresses thereof;

וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י SDBH I will cut off יוֹשֵׁב֙ SDBH the ruler מֵֽאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד SDBH of Ashdod וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ SDBH and the one who wields שֵׁ֖בֶט SDBH the scepter מֵֽאַשְׁקְל֑וֹן SDBH in Ashkelon וַהֲשִׁיב֨וֹתִי SDBH I will turn יָדִ֜י SDBH My hand עַל־ against עֶקְר֗וֹן SDBH Ekron וְאָֽבְדוּ֙ SDBH will perish שְׁאֵרִ֣ית SDBH and the remnant פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים SDBH of the Philistines אָמַ֖ר SDBH says אֲדֹנָ֥י SDBH the Lord יְהוִֽה׃פ SDBH G-D

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the shevet (sceptre) from Ashkelon, and I will turn Mine hand against Ekron; and the she'erit Pelishtim shall perish, saith Adonoi Hashem.

כֹּ֚ה This is what אָמַ֣ר SDBH says יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ For שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ SDBH three פִּשְׁעֵי־ SDBH transgressions צֹ֔ר SDBH of Tyre וְעַל־ even אַרְבָּעָ֖ה SDBH four לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ SDBH revoke [My judgment] עַֽל־ because הַסְגִּירָ֞ם SDBH they delivered up גָּל֤וּת SDBH congregation of exiles שְׁלֵמָה֙ SDBH a whole לֶאֱד֔וֹם SDBH to Edom וְלֹ֥א SDBH and broke זָכְר֖וּ SDBH . . . בְּרִ֥ית SDBH a covenant אַחִֽים׃ SDBH of brotherhood

Thus saith Hashem: For shloshah peysha'im of Tzor, even for arba'ah, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the golus shleimah to Edom, and remembered not the brit achim;

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי SDBH So I will send אֵ֖שׁ SDBH fire בְּח֣וֹמַת SDBH upon the walls צֹ֑ר SDBH of Tyre וְאָכְלָ֖ה SDBH to consume אַרְמְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃פ SDBH its citadels

But I will send an eish on the chomah (wall) of Tzor, which shall devour the fortresses thereof.

כֹּ֚ה This is what אָמַ֣ר SDBH says יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ For שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ SDBH three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י SDBH transgressions אֱד֔וֹם SDBH of Edom וְעַל־ even אַרְבָּעָ֖ה SDBH four לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ SDBH revoke [My judgment] עַל־ because רָדְפ֨וֹ SDBH he pursued בַחֶ֤רֶב SDBH with the sword אָחִיו֙ SDBH his brother וְשִׁחֵ֣ת SDBH and stifled רַחֲמָ֔יו SDBH all compassion וַיִּטְרֹ֤ף SDBH raged לָעַד֙ SDBH continually אַפּ֔וֹ SDBH his anger וְעֶבְרָת֖וֹ SDBH and his fury שְׁמָ֥רָה SDBH flamed נֶֽצַח׃ SDBH incessantly

Thus saith Hashem: For shloshah peysha'im of Edom, even for arba'ah, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the cherev, and did cast off all rachamim, and his anger did rage perpetually, and he kept his wrath netzach;

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי SDBH So I will send אֵ֖שׁ SDBH fire בְּתֵימָ֑ן SDBH upon Teman וְאָכְלָ֖ה SDBH to consume אַרְמְנ֥וֹת SDBH the citadels בָּצְרָֽה׃פ SDBH of Bozrah

But I will send an eish upon Teman, which shall devour the fortresses of Botzrah.

כֹּ֚ה This is what אָמַ֣ר SDBH says יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ For שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ SDBH three פִּשְׁעֵ֣י SDBH transgressions בְנֵֽי־ SDBH of the Ammonites עַמּ֔וֹן SDBH . . . וְעַל־ even אַרְבָּעָ֖ה SDBH four לֹ֣א SDBH I will not אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ SDBH revoke [My judgment] עַל־ because בִּקְעָם֙ SDBH they ripped open הָר֣וֹת SDBH the pregnant הַגִּלְעָ֔ד SDBH women of Gilead לְמַ֖עַן in order to הַרְחִ֥יב SDBH enlarge אֶת־ SDBH - גְּבוּלָֽם׃ SDBH their territory

Thus saith Hashem: For shloshah peysha'im of the Bnei Ammon, even for arba'ah, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped open the women with child of Gil`ad, that they might enlarge their border;

וְהִצַּ֤תִּי SDBH So I will kindle אֵשׁ֙ SDBH a fire בְּחוֹמַ֣ת SDBH in the walls רַבָּ֔ה SDBH of Rabbah וְאָכְלָ֖ה SDBH to consume אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ SDBH its citadels בִּתְרוּעָה֙ SDBH amid war cries בְּי֣וֹם SDBH on the day מִלְחָמָ֔ה SDBH of battle בְּסַ֖עַר SDBH and a violent wind בְּי֥וֹם SDBH on the day סוּפָֽה SDBH of tempest

But I will kindle an eish in the chomah (wall) of Rabbah, and it shall devour the fortresses thereof, with war cries in the yom milchamah, with a tempest in the yom sufah (day of the storm);

וְהָלַ֥ךְ SDBH will go מַלְכָּ֖ם SDBH Their king בַּגּוֹלָ֑ה SDBH into exile ה֧וּא SDBH he וְשָׂרָ֛יו SDBH and his princes יַחְדָּ֖ו SDBH together אָמַ֥ר SDBH says יְהוָֽה׃פ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

And their melech shall go into golus, he and his sarim (princes) together, saith Hashem.
