Tehillim 6 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לַמְנַצֵּ֣חַ SDBH For the choirmaster בִּ֭נְגִינוֹת SDBH With stringed instruments עַֽל־ according to הַשְּׁמִינִ֗ית SDBH Sheminith מִזְמ֥וֹר SDBH A Psalm לְדָוִֽד׃ SDBH of David יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אַל־ do not בְּאַפְּךָ֥ SDBH in Your anger תוֹכִיחֵ֑נִי SDBH rebuke me וְֽאַל־ or בַּחֲמָתְךָ֥ SDBH in Your wrath תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃ SDBH discipline me

(For the one directing. With stringed instruments. Al HaSheminit. Mizmor Dovid) Hashem, rebuke me not in Thine anger, neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure.

חָנֵּ֥נִי SDBH Be merciful to me יְהוָה֮ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּ֤י for אֻמְלַ֫ל SDBH am frail אָ֥נִי SDBH I רְפָאֵ֥נִי SDBH heal me יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּ֖י for נִבְהֲל֣וּ SDBH are in agony עֲצָמָֽי׃ SDBH my bones

Have mercy upon me, Hashem; for I am weak: Hashem, heal me; for my atzmot are shaking.

וְ֭נַפְשִׁי SDBH My soul נִבְהֲלָ֣ה SDBH is deeply distressed מְאֹ֑ד . . . וְאַתְּ SDBH O יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַד־ SDBH How long מָתָֽי׃ SDBH how long

My nefesh is also much shaken; but Thou, Hashem, ad mosai (how much longer)?

שׁוּבָ֣ה SDBH Turn יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi חַלְּצָ֣ה SDBH [and] deliver נַפְשִׁ֑י SDBH my soul ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי SDBH save me לְמַ֣עַן because of חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ SDBH Your loving devotion

Turn, Hashem, deliver my nefesh; hoshieini (save me) for the sake of Thy chesed.

כִּ֤י For אֵ֣ין SDBH there is no בַּמָּ֣וֶת SDBH in death זִכְרֶ֑ךָ SDBH mention of You בִּ֝שְׁא֗וֹל SDBH from Sheol מִ֣י SDBH who יֽוֹדֶה־ SDBH can praise לָּֽךְ׃ You

For in mavet there is no remembrance of Thee; in Sheol who shall give Thee thanks?

יָגַ֤עְתִּי׀ SDBH I am weary בְּֽאַנְחָתִ֗י SDBH from groaning אַשְׂחֶ֣ה SDBH I flood בְכָל־ all לַ֭יְלָה SDBH night מִטָּתִ֑י SDBH my bed with {weeping} בְּ֝דִמְעָתִ֗י SDBH with tears עַרְשִׂ֥י SDBH my couch אַמְסֶֽה׃ SDBH [and] drench

I am weary with my groaning; all the lailah flood I my mittah with weeping; I water my couch with my tears.

עָֽשְׁשָׁ֣ה SDBH fail מִכַּ֣עַס SDBH from grief עֵינִ֑י SDBH My eyes עָֽ֝תְקָ֗ה SDBH they grow dim בְּכָל־ because of all צוֹרְרָֽי׃ SDBH my foes

Mine eye is consumed because of ka'as (grief); it groweth old because of all mine enemies.

ס֣וּרוּ SDBH Depart מִ֭מֶּנִּי from me כָּל־ all פֹּ֣עֲלֵי SDBH you workers אָ֑וֶן SDBH of iniquity כִּֽי־ for שָׁמַ֥ע SDBH has heard יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi ק֣וֹל SDBH vvv בִּכְיִֽי׃ SDBH my weeping

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for Hashem hath heard the voice of my weeping.

שָׁמַ֣ע SDBH has heard יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi תְּחִנָּתִ֑י SDBH my cry for mercy יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi תְּֽפִלָּתִ֥י SDBH my prayer יִקָּֽח׃ SDBH accepts

Hashem hath heard my techinnah (supplication); Hashem will receive my tefillah (prayer).

יֵבֹ֤שׁוּ׀ SDBH will be ashamed וְיִבָּהֲל֣וּ SDBH and dismayed מְ֭אֹד . . . כָּל־ All אֹיְבָ֑י SDBH my enemies יָ֝שֻׁ֗בוּ SDBH they will turn back יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ SDBH disgrace רָֽגַע׃ SDBH in sudden

Let all mine oyevim be ashamed and much troubled; let them turn back and suddenly be ashamed.
