Tehillim 23 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

מִזְמ֥וֹר SDBH A Psalm לְדָוִ֑ד SDBH of David יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi רֹ֝עִ֗י SDBH is my shepherd לֹ֣א SDBH I shall not אֶחְסָֽר׃ SDBH want

(Mizmor of Dovid). Hashem is my Ro'eh (Shepherd); I shall not lack.

בִּנְא֣וֹת SDBH pastures דֶּ֭שֶׁא SDBH in green יַרְבִּיצֵ֑נִי SDBH He makes me lie down עַל־ beside מֵ֖י SDBH waters מְנֻח֣וֹת SDBH quiet יְנַהֲלֵֽנִי׃ SDBH He leads me

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the mei menuchot (tranquil waters).

נַפְשִׁ֥י SDBH my soul יְשׁוֹבֵ֑ב SDBH He restores יַֽנְחֵ֥נִי SDBH He guides me בְמַעְגְּלֵי־ SDBH in the paths צֶ֝֗דֶק SDBH of righteousness לְמַ֣עַן for the sake שְׁמֽוֹ׃ SDBH of His name

He restoreth my nefesh; He guideth me in the paths of tzedek l'ma'an Shmo (righteousness for the sake of His Name).

גַּ֤ם SDBH Even כִּֽי־ though אֵלֵ֨ךְ SDBH I walk בְּגֵ֪יא SDBH through the valley צַלְמָ֡וֶת SDBH of the shadow of death לֹא־ SDBH no אִ֘ירָ֤א SDBH I will fear רָ֗ע SDBH evil כִּי־ for אַתָּ֥ה SDBH You עִמָּדִ֑י are with me שִׁבְטְךָ֥ SDBH Your rod וּ֝מִשְׁעַנְתֶּ֗ךָ SDBH and Your staff הֵ֣מָּה SDBH they יְנַֽחֲמֻֽנִי׃ SDBH comfort me

Yea, though I walk through the Gey Tzalmavet (Valley of the Shadow of Death), I will fear no rah (evil); for Thou art with me; Thy shevet (rod) and Thy staff they comfort me.

תַּעֲרֹ֬ךְ SDBH You prepare לְפָנַ֨י׀ before me שֻׁלְחָ֗ן SDBH a table נֶ֥גֶד in the presence of צֹרְרָ֑י SDBH my enemies דִּשַּׁ֖נְתָּ SDBH You anoint בַשֶּׁ֥מֶן SDBH with oil רֹ֝אשִׁ֗י SDBH my head כּוֹסִ֥י SDBH my cup רְוָיָֽה׃ SDBH overflows

Thou preparest a shulchan before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with shemen (olive oil); my kos runneth over.

אַ֤ךְ׀ SDBH Surely ט֤וֹב SDBH goodness וָחֶ֣סֶד SDBH and mercy יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי SDBH will follow me כָּל־ all יְמֵ֣י SDBH the days חַיָּ֑י SDBH of my life וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י SDBH and I will dwell בְּבֵית־ SDBH in the house יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi לְאֹ֣רֶךְ SDBH forever יָמִֽים׃ SDBH . . .

Surely tov and chesed shall follow me kol y'mei chaiyyai (all the days of my life): and I will dwell in the Bais Hashem l'orech yamim (for length of days, whole life long, forever).
