מִכְתָּ֥ם SDBH A Miktam לְדָוִ֑ד SDBH of David שָֽׁמְרֵ֥נִי SDBH Preserve me אֵ֝֗ל SDBH O G-d כִּֽי־ for חָסִ֥יתִי SDBH I take refuge בָֽךְ׃ in You
(A mikhtam Dovid). Be shomer over me, O El: for in Thee do I hide myself.
I said unto Hashem, Thou art Adonoi of me; besides Thee I have no good;

לִ֭קְדוֹשִׁים SDBH As for the saints אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH - בָּאָ֣רֶץ SDBH in the land הֵ֑מָּה SDBH they וְ֝אַדִּירֵ֗י SDBH are the excellence כָּל־ in whom all חֶפְצִי־ SDBH my delight בָֽם׃ resides
But to the Kadoshim that are in ha'aretz, they are the glorious ones, in whom is all my delight.
Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after other g-ds; their nesakhim (drink offerings) of dahm will I not offer, nor take up their shmot (names [of idols]) on my lips.

יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מְנָת־ SDBH [is] my chosen portion חֶלְקִ֥י SDBH . . . וְכוֹסִ֑י SDBH and my cup אַ֝תָּ֗ה SDBH You תּוֹמִ֥יךְ SDBH have made גּוֹרָלִֽי׃ SDBH my lot {secure}
Hashem is the chelek (allotted share) of mine inheritance and of my kos (cup [of blessing]); Thou maintainest my goral (lot, allotment by the divine will).

חֲבָלִ֣ים SDBH The lines נָֽפְלוּ־ SDBH have fallen לִ֭י of my {boundary} בַּנְּעִמִ֑ים SDBH in pleasant places אַף־ SDBH surely נַ֝חֲלָ֗ת SDBH inheritance שָֽׁפְרָ֥ה SDBH is delightful עָלָֽי׃ my
The boundary lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly nachalah (inheritance).
I will bless Hashem, Who hath given me counsel; my mind also instructs me in the night seasons.

שִׁוִּ֬יתִי SDBH I have set יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi לְנֶגְדִּ֣י before me תָמִ֑יד SDBH always כִּ֥י Because מִֽ֝ימִינִ֗י SDBH He is at my right hand בַּל־ SDBH I will not אֶמּֽוֹט׃ SDBH be shaken
I have set Hashem always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
Therefore my lev is glad, and my kavod rejoiceth; my basar also shall dwell securely [see 1Th 5:23 OJBC].
For Thou wilt not abandon my nefesh in Sheol; neither wilt Thou allow Thine Chasid to see shachat (corruption, the pit, the grave, the abyss of corruption; see Ac 2:24).

תּֽוֹדִיעֵנִי֮ SDBH You have made known to me אֹ֤רַח SDBH the path חַ֫יִּ֥ים SDBH of life שֹׂ֣בַע SDBH You will fill me שְׂ֭מָחוֹת SDBH with joy אֶת־ SDBH . . . פָּנֶ֑יךָ in Your presence נְעִמ֖וֹת SDBH pleasures בִּימִינְךָ֣ SDBH at Your right hand נֶֽצַח׃ SDBH with eternal
Thou wilt show me the Orach Chayyim (the path of life); in Thy presence is fulness of joy, at Thy right hand there are pleasures netzach (for evermore).
