Tehillim 25 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לְדָוִ֡ד SDBH Of David אֵלֶ֥יךָ To You יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi נַפְשִׁ֥י SDBH up my soul אֶשָּֽׂא׃ SDBH I lift

(Of Dovid) [Aleph] Unto Thee, Hashem, do I lift up my nefesh.

אֱ‍ֽלֹהַ֗י SDBH my G-d בְּךָ֣ in You בָ֭טַחְתִּי SDBH I trust אַל־ Do not let me אֵב֑וֹשָׁה SDBH be put to shame אַל־ do not let יַֽעַלְצ֖וּ SDBH exult אֹיְבַ֣י SDBH my enemies לִֽי׃ over me

[Bais] O Elohai, I trust in Thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine oyevim triumph over me.

גַּ֣ם SDBH Surely כָּל־ . . . קֹ֭וֶיךָ SDBH who wait for You לֹ֣א SDBH none יֵבֹ֑שׁוּ SDBH will be put to shame יֵ֝בֹ֗שׁוּ SDBH will be disgraced הַבּוֹגְדִ֥ים SDBH [but] those who engage in treachery רֵיקָֽם׃ SDBH without cause

[Gimel] Yea, let none that wait [hoping in] Thee be ashamed; let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

דְּרָכֶ֣יךָ SDBH Your ways יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הוֹדִיעֵ֑נִי SDBH Show me אֹ֖רְחוֹתֶ֣יךָ SDBH Your paths לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ SDBH teach me

[Dalet] Show me Thy ways, Hashem; teach me Thy paths.

הַדְרִ֘יכֵ֤נִי SDBH Guide me בַאֲמִתֶּ֨ךָ׀ SDBH in Your truth וְֽלַמְּדֵ֗נִי SDBH and teach me כִּֽי־ for אַ֭תָּה SDBH You אֱלֹהֵ֣י SDBH are the G-d יִשְׁעִ֑י SDBH of my salvation אוֹתְךָ֥ SDBH for You קִ֝וִּ֗יתִי SDBH I wait כָּל־ all הַיּֽוֹם׃ SDBH day long

[Heh Vav] Lead me in Thy emes, and teach me; for Thou art the Elohei of my Salvation; on Thee do I wait kol hayom.

זְכֹר־ SDBH Remember רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ SDBH Your compassion יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ SDBH and loving devotion כִּ֖י for מֵעוֹלָ֣ם SDBH from age to age הֵֽמָּה׃ SDBH they [are]

[Zayin] Remember, Hashem, Thy rachamim and Thy lovingkindnesses; for they have ever been of old.

חַטֹּ֤אות SDBH the sins נְעוּרַ֨י׀ SDBH of my youth וּפְשָׁעַ֗י SDBH nor my rebellious acts אַל־ not תִּ֫זְכֹּ֥ר SDBH Remember כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ SDBH Your loving devotion זְכָר־ SDBH remember me לִי־ according to אַ֑תָּה SDBH . . . לְמַ֖עַן because of טוּבְךָ֣ SDBH Your goodness יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

[Chet] Remember not the chattot of my youth, nor my peysha'im; according to Thy chesed remember Thou me for the sake of Thy goodness, Hashem.

טוֹב־ SDBH Good וְיָשָׁ֥ר SDBH and upright יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ therefore כֵּ֤ן SDBH . . . יוֹרֶ֖ה SDBH He shows חַטָּאִ֣ים SDBH sinners בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ SDBH the way

[Tet] Tov and yashar is Hashem; therefore will He teach chatta'im in the Derech.

יַדְרֵ֣ךְ SDBH He guides עֲ֭נָוִים SDBH the humble בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט SDBH in what is right וִֽילַמֵּ֖ד SDBH and teaches עֲנָוִ֣ים SDBH them דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ SDBH His way

[Yod] The meek will He guide in mishpat; and the aniyim will He teach His way.

10

כָּל־ All אָרְח֣וֹת SDBH ways יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi חֶ֣סֶד SDBH [are] loving and faithful וֶאֱמֶ֑ת SDBH . . . לְנֹצְרֵ֥י SDBH to those who keep בְ֝רִית֗וֹ SDBH His covenant וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃ SDBH and His decrees

[Kaph] All the paths of Hashem are chesed and emes unto such as keep His Brit (covenant) and His Edot (covenant demands, urgings, reminders, testimonies).

לְמַֽעַן־ For the sake of שִׁמְךָ֥ SDBH Your name יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְֽסָלַחְתָּ֥ SDBH forgive לַ֝עֲוֺנִ֗י SDBH my iniquity כִּ֣י for רַב־ SDBH is great הֽוּא׃ SDBH it

[Lamed] For the sake of Thy Shem, Hashem, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

מִי־ SDBH Who זֶ֣ה SDBH . . . הָ֭אִישׁ SDBH is the man יְרֵ֣א SDBH who fears יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi י֝וֹרֶ֗נּוּ SDBH He will instruct him בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ SDBH in the path יִבְחָֽר׃ SDBH chosen [for him]

[Mem] What man is he that feareth Hashem? Him shall He teach in the Derech that he shall choose.

13

נַ֭פְשׁוֹ SDBH His soul בְּט֣וֹב SDBH in prosperity תָּלִ֑ין SDBH will dwell וְ֝זַרְע֗וֹ SDBH and his descendants יִ֣ירַשׁ SDBH will inherit אָֽרֶץ׃ SDBH the land

[Nun] His nefesh (soul) shall dwell in prosperity; and his zera shall inherit the earth.

ס֣וֹד SDBH confides יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi לִירֵאָ֑יו SDBH in those who fear Him וּ֝בְרִית֗וֹ SDBH His covenant to them לְהוֹדִיעָֽם׃ SDBH and reveals

[Samech] The secret of Hashem is with them that fear Him; and He will show them His Brit (covenant).

15

עֵינַ֣י SDBH My eyes תָּ֭מִיד SDBH are always אֶל־ on יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כִּ֤י for הֽוּא־ SDBH He יוֹצִ֖יא SDBH will free מֵרֶ֣שֶׁת SDBH from the mesh רַגְלָֽי׃ SDBH my feet

[Ayin] Mine eyes are ever toward Hashem; for He shall pluck my feet out of the reshet (net).

16

פְּנֵה־ SDBH Turn אֵלַ֥י to me וְחָנֵּ֑נִי SDBH and be gracious כִּֽי־ for יָחִ֖יד SDBH am lonely וְעָנִ֣י SDBH and afflicted אָֽנִי׃ SDBH I

[Peh] Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am yachid (alone, lonely) and afflicted.

17

צָר֣וֹת SDBH The troubles לְבָבִ֣י SDBH of my heart הִרְחִ֑יבוּ SDBH increase מִ֝מְּצֽוּקוֹתַ֗י SDBH from my distress הוֹצִיאֵֽנִי׃ SDBH free me

[Tzade] The tzoros of my lev are multiplied; O bring Thou me forth out of my distresses.

רְאֵ֣ה SDBH Consider עָ֭נְיִי SDBH my affliction וַעֲמָלִ֑י SDBH and trouble וְ֝שָׂ֗א SDBH and take away לְכָל־ all חַטֹּאותָֽי׃ SDBH my sins

[Resh] Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and take away all my chattot.

19

רְאֵֽה־ SDBH Consider אוֹיְבַ֥י SDBH my enemies כִּי־ for רָ֑בּוּ SDBH they are many וְשִׂנְאַ֖ת SDBH and they hate me חָמָ֣ס SDBH with vicious שְׂנֵאֽוּנִי׃ SDBH hatred

[Resh] Look upon mine enemies; for they are increased; and they hate me with sinas chamas.

20

שָׁמְרָ֣ה SDBH Guard נַ֭פְשִׁי SDBH my soul וְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי SDBH and deliver me אַל־ let me not אֵ֝ב֗וֹשׁ SDBH be put to shame כִּֽי־ for חָסִ֥יתִי SDBH I take refuge בָֽךְ׃ in You

[Shin] Be shomer over my nefesh, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed; for I take refuge in Thee.

21

תֹּם־ SDBH May integrity וָיֹ֥שֶׁר SDBH and uprightness יִצְּר֑וּנִי SDBH preserve me כִּ֝֗י because קִוִּיתִֽיךָ׃ SDBH I wait for You

[Tav] Let tohm (integrity, guilelessness) and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on Thee.

פְּדֵ֣ה SDBH Redeem אֱ֭לֹהִים SDBH O G-d אֶת־ SDBH - יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל SDBH Israel מִ֝כֹּ֗ל from all צָֽרוֹתָיו׃ SDBH its distress

Redeem Yisroel, O Elohim, out of all his tzoros.
