Tehillim 103 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

לְדָוִ֨ד׀ SDBH Of David בָּרֲכִ֣י SDBH Bless נַ֭פְשִׁי SDBH O my soul אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְכָל־ all קְ֝רָבַ֗י SDBH that is within me אֶת־ SDBH - שֵׁ֥ם SDBH name קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ SDBH [bless] His holy

(Of Dovid). Barachi (Bless) Hashem, O my nefesh; and all that is within me, bless His Shem kodesh.

בָּרֲכִ֣י SDBH Bless נַ֭פְשִׁי SDBH O my soul אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְאַל־ and do not תִּ֝שְׁכְּחִ֗י SDBH forget כָּל־ all גְּמוּלָֽיו׃ SDBH His kind deeds

Barachi Hashem, O my nefesh, and forget not all His gmulim (benefits);

הַסֹּלֵ֥חַ SDBH He who forgives לְכָל־ all עֲוֺנֵ֑כִי SDBH your iniquities הָ֝רֹפֵ֗א SDBH and heals לְכָל־ all תַּחֲלֻאָֽיְכִי׃ SDBH your diseases

Who forgiveth all thine avonim (iniquities); Who healeth all thy diseases;

הַגּוֹאֵ֣ל SDBH who redeems מִשַּׁ֣חַת SDBH from the Pit חַיָּ֑יְכִי SDBH your life הַֽ֝מְעַטְּרֵ֗כִי SDBH [and] crowns חֶ֣סֶד SDBH you with loving devotion וְרַחֲמִֽים׃ SDBH and compassion

Who is the Go'el (Redeemer) of thy life from shachat (corruption, pit, grave); Who crowneth thee with chesed and rachamim;

הַמַּשְׂבִּ֣יַע SDBH who satisfies you בַּטּ֣וֹב SDBH with good עֶדְיֵ֑ךְ SDBH things תִּתְחַדֵּ֖שׁ SDBH is renewed כַּנֶּ֣שֶׁר SDBH like the eagle’s נְעוּרָֽיְכִי׃ SDBH so that your youth

Who satisfieth thy mouth with tov; so that thy ne'urim is made chadash like the nesher.

עֹשֵׂ֣ה SDBH executes צְדָק֣וֹת SDBH righteousness יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטִ֗ים SDBH and justice לְכָל־ for all עֲשׁוּקִֽים׃ SDBH the oppressed

Hashem executeth tzedakot and mishpatim for all that are oppressed.

יוֹדִ֣יעַ SDBH He made known דְּרָכָ֣יו SDBH His ways לְמֹשֶׁ֑ה SDBH to Moses לִבְנֵ֥י SDBH to the people יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל SDBH of Israel עֲלִילֽוֹתָיו׃ SDBH His deeds

He made known His drakhim unto Moshe, His deeds unto the Bnei Yisroel.

רַח֣וּם SDBH is compassionate וְחַנּ֣וּן SDBH and gracious יְהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֶ֖רֶךְ SDBH slow אַפַּ֣יִם SDBH to anger וְרַב־ SDBH abounding חָֽסֶד׃ SDBH in loving devotion

Hashem is rachum and channun, slow to anger, and plenteous in chesed.

לֹֽא־ SDBH He will not לָנֶ֥צַח SDBH always יָרִ֑יב SDBH accuse us וְלֹ֖א SDBH nor לְעוֹלָ֣ם SDBH forever יִטּֽוֹר׃ SDBH harbor [His anger]

He will not strive l'netzach; neither will He keep His anger l'olam.

לֹ֣א SDBH He has not כַ֭חֲטָאֵינוּ SDBH our sins עָ֣שָׂה SDBH dealt לָ֑נוּ according to וְלֹ֥א SDBH with us כַ֝עֲוֺנֹתֵ֗ינוּ SDBH our iniquities גָּמַ֥ל SDBH or repaid us עָלֵֽינוּ׃ according to

He hath not dealt with us according to chata'einu (our sins); nor repaid us according to avonoteinu (our iniquities).

11

כִּ֤י For כִגְבֹ֣הַּ SDBH as high שָׁ֭מַיִם SDBH as the heavens עַל־ are above הָאָ֑רֶץ SDBH the earth גָּבַ֥ר SDBH so great חַ֝סְדּ֗וֹ SDBH is His loving devotion עַל־ for יְרֵאָֽיו׃ SDBH those who fear Him

For as Shomayim is high above ha'aretz, so great is His chesed toward them that fear Him.

כִּרְחֹ֣ק SDBH As far מִ֭זְרָח SDBH as the east מִֽמַּֽעֲרָ֑ב SDBH the west הִֽרְחִ֥יק SDBH so far has He removed מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ is from אֶת־ SDBH - פְּשָׁעֵֽינוּ׃ SDBH our transgressions from us

As far as the mizrach (east) is from the ma'arav (west), so far hath He removed peysha'einu (our transgressions) from us.

כְּרַחֵ֣ם SDBH has compassion אָ֭ב SDBH As a father עַל־ on בָּנִ֑ים SDBH his children רִחַ֥ם SDBH has compassion יְ֝הוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi עַל־ on יְרֵאָֽיו׃ SDBH those who fear Him

As an av has compassion on banim so Hashem has compassion on them that fear Him.

14

כִּי־ For ה֖וּא SDBH He יָדַ֣ע SDBH knows יִצְרֵ֑נוּ SDBH our frame זָ֝כ֗וּר SDBH He is mindful כִּי־ that עָפָ֥ר SDBH are dust אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ SDBH we

For He has da'as of yitzreinu (our nature); He remembereth that aphar anachnu (dust we are).

15

אֱ֭נוֹשׁ SDBH As for man כֶּחָצִ֣יר SDBH are like grass יָמָ֑יו SDBH his days כְּצִ֥יץ SDBH like a flower הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה SDBH of the field כֵּ֣ן SDBH . . . יָצִֽיץ׃ SDBH he blooms

As for enosh (mankind), his yamim are like khatzir (green grass, herbage); like tzitz hasadeh (a flower of the field), so he flourisheth.

16

כִּ֤י when ר֣וּחַ SDBH the wind עָֽבְרָה־ SDBH passes בּ֣וֹ over וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ SDBH it vanishes וְלֹא־ SDBH no יַכִּירֶ֖נּוּ SDBH remembers it ע֣וֹד more מְקוֹמֽוֹ׃ SDBH and its place

For the ruach (wind) passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall remember it no more.

17

וְחֶ֤סֶד SDBH the loving devotion יְהוָ֨ה׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מֵעוֹלָ֣ם SDBH But from everlasting וְעַד־ SDBH to ע֭וֹלָם SDBH everlasting עַל־ extends to יְרֵאָ֑יו SDBH those who fear Him וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ SDBH and His righteousness לִבְנֵ֥י SDBH to their children’s בָנִֽים׃ SDBH children

But the chesed Hashem is me'olam v'ad olam (from everlasting to everlasting) upon them that fear Him, and His tzedakah unto bnei banim;

18

לְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י SDBH to those who keep בְרִית֑וֹ SDBH His covenant וּלְזֹכְרֵ֥י SDBH and remember פִ֝קֻּדָ֗יו SDBH His precepts לַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃ SDBH to obey

To such as are shomer over His Brit, and to those that remember His precepts to do them.

19

יְֽהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בַּ֭שָּׁמַיִם SDBH in heaven הֵכִ֣ין SDBH has established כִּסְא֑וֹ SDBH His throne וּ֝מַלְכוּת֗וֹ SDBH and His kingdom בַּכֹּ֥ל over all מָשָֽׁלָה׃ SDBH rules

Hashem hath established His kisse (throne) in Shomayim; and His malchut ruleth over all.

20

בָּרֲכ֥וּ SDBH Bless יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi מַלְאָ֫כָ֥יו SDBH all His angels גִּבֹּ֣רֵי SDBH mighty כֹ֭חַ SDBH in strength עֹשֵׂ֣י SDBH who carry out דְבָר֑וֹ SDBH His word לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗עַ SDBH who hearken בְּק֣וֹל SDBH to the voice דְּבָרֽוֹ׃ SDBH of His command

Barachu Hashem, ye His malachim, gibborei ko'ach (mighty ones of power), that do His bidding, paying heed unto the voice of His Davar.

21

בָּרֲכ֣וּ SDBH Bless יְ֭הוָה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כָּל־ all צְבָאָ֑יו SDBH His hosts מְ֝שָׁרְתָ֗יו SDBH you servants עֹשֵׂ֥י SDBH who do רְצוֹנֽוֹ׃ SDBH His will

Barachu Hashem, all ye His Tzivos; ye mesharetim (ministers) of His, that do His ratzon (will).

22

בָּרֲכ֤וּ SDBH Bless יְהוָ֨ה׀ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi כָּֽל־ all מַעֲשָׂ֗יו SDBH His works בְּכָל־ in all מְקֹמ֥וֹת SDBH places מֶמְשַׁלְתּ֑וֹ SDBH of His dominion בָּרֲכִ֥י SDBH Bless נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י SDBH O my soul אֶת־ SDBH - יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

Barachu Hashem, all His ma'asim in all places of His memshalet (dominion); Barachi Hashem, O my nefesh.
