Bamidbar 30 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר SDBH said מֹשֶׁה֙ SDBH Then Moses אֶל־ . . . רָאשֵׁ֣י SDBH to the heads הַמַּטּ֔וֹת SDBH of the tribes לִבְנֵ֥י SDBH . . . יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל SDBH of Israel לֵאמֹ֑ר SDBH . . . זֶ֣ה SDBH This הַדָּבָ֔ר SDBH . . . אֲשֶׁ֖ר SDBH is what צִוָּ֥ה SDBH has commanded יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi

And Moshe spoke unto the Rashei HaMattot (Heads of the Tribes) concerning the Bnei Yisroel saying, This is the thing which Hashem hath commanded: [MATTOS]

אִישׁ֩ SDBH a man כִּֽי־ If יִדֹּ֨ר SDBH makes נֶ֜דֶר SDBH a vow לַֽיהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֽוֹ־ SDBH or הִשָּׁ֤בַע SDBH swears שְׁבֻעָה֙ SDBH an oath לֶאְסֹ֤ר SDBH to obligate אִסָּר֙ SDBH by a pledge עַל־ - נַפְשׁ֔וֹ SDBH himself לֹ֥א SDBH he must not יַחֵ֖ל SDBH break דְּבָר֑וֹ SDBH his word כְּכָל־ everything הַיֹּצֵ֥א SDBH he has promised מִפִּ֖יו SDBH . . . יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ SDBH he must do

If an ish vow a neder unto Hashem, or swear a shevu'ah (oath) to bind his nefesh with an issar (negative vow, prohibition), he shall not break his dever, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

וְאִשָּׁ֕ה SDBH a woman כִּֽי־ And if תִדֹּ֥ר SDBH makes נֶ֖דֶר SDBH a vow לַיהוָ֑ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi וְאָסְרָ֥ה SDBH or obligates herself אִסָּ֛ר SDBH by a pledge בְּבֵ֥ית SDBH house אָבִ֖יהָ SDBH in her father’s בִּנְעֻרֶֽיהָ׃ SDBH during her youth

If an isha also vow a neder unto Hashem, and bind herself by an issar, being in her bais avi in her youth;

וְשָׁמַ֨ע SDBH hears about אָבִ֜יהָ SDBH and her father אֶת־ SDBH - נִדְרָ֗הּ SDBH her vow וֶֽאֱסָרָהּ֙ SDBH or pledge אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH - אָֽסְרָ֣ה SDBH - עַל־ - נַפְשָׁ֔הּ SDBH - וְהֶחֱרִ֥ישׁ SDBH says nothing לָ֖הּ to her אָבִ֑יהָ SDBH [but] וְקָ֙מוּ֙ SDBH shall stand כָּל־ then all נְדָרֶ֔יהָ SDBH the vows וְכָל־ or אִסָּ֛ר SDBH pledges אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH by which אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH she has bound עַל־ . . . נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH herself יָקֽוּם׃ SDBH . . .

And her av hear her neder, and her issar wherewith she hath bound her nefesh, and her av says nothing to her, then all her nedarim shall stand, and every issar wherewith she hath bound her nefesh shall stand.

וְאִם־ SDBH But if הֵנִ֨יא SDBH prohibits her אָבִ֣יהָ SDBH her father אֹתָהּ֮ SDBH - בְּי֣וֹם SDBH on the day שָׁמְעוֹ֒ SDBH he hears כָּל־ about it נְדָרֶ֗יהָ SDBH of the vows וֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛יהָ SDBH or pledges אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH by which אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH she has bound עַל־ - נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH herself לֹ֣א SDBH then none יָק֑וּם SDBH shall stand וַֽיהוָה֙ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִֽסְלַח־ SDBH will absolve לָ֔הּ her כִּי־ because הֵנִ֥יא SDBH has prohibited her אָבִ֖יהָ SDBH her father אֹתָֽהּ׃ SDBH -

But if her av disallow her in the yom that he heareth, not any of her nedarim, or of her issurim (negative vows, prohibitions) wherewith she hath bound her nefesh, shall stand; and Hashem shall forgive her, because her av forbade her.

וְאִם־ SDBH If הָי֤וֹ a woman marries תִֽהְיֶה֙ . . . לְאִ֔ישׁ SDBH . . . וּנְדָרֶ֖יהָ SDBH while under a vow עָלֶ֑יהָ . . . א֚וֹ SDBH or מִבְטָ֣א SDBH rash promise שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ SDBH . . . אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH by which אָסְרָ֖ה SDBH has bound עַל־ herself נַפְשָֽׁהּ׃ SDBH she

And if she had at all an ish, when she made nedarim or utterance of her lips, wherewith she bound her nefesh;

וְשָׁמַ֥ע SDBH hears of it אִישָׁ֛הּ SDBH and her husband בְּי֥וֹם SDBH on that day שָׁמְע֖וֹ SDBH - וְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁ SDBH but says nothing לָ֑הּ to her וְקָ֣מוּ SDBH - נְדָרֶ֗יהָ SDBH then the vows וֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛הָ SDBH or pledges אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH by which אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH has bound עַל־ herself נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH she יָקֻֽמוּ׃ SDBH shall stand

And her ish heard it, and said nothing to her in the yom that he heard it, then her nedarim shall stand, and her issurim wherewith she bound her nefesh shall stand.

וְ֠אִם SDBH But if בְּי֨וֹם SDBH when שְׁמֹ֣עַ SDBH he hears of it אִישָׁהּ֮ SDBH her husband יָנִ֣יא SDBH prohibits אוֹתָהּ֒ SDBH her וְהֵפֵ֗ר SDBH he nullifies אֶת־ SDBH - נִדְרָהּ֙ SDBH the vow אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH that עָלֶ֔יהָ binds her וְאֵת֙ SDBH - מִבְטָ֣א SDBH or the rash promise שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ SDBH . . . אֲשֶׁ֥ר SDBH - אָסְרָ֖ה SDBH has made עַל־ . . . נַפְשָׁ֑הּ SDBH she וַיהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִֽסְלַֽח־ SDBH will absolve לָֽהּ׃ her

But if her ish forbade her on the yom that he heard it, then he shall nullify her neder which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her nefesh; and Hashem shall forgive her.

וְנֵ֥דֶר SDBH vow אַלְמָנָ֖ה SDBH a widow וּגְרוּשָׁ֑ה SDBH or divorced woman כֹּ֛ל Every אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH - אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH pledges to fulfill עַל־ . . . נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH . . . יָק֥וּם SDBH is binding עָלֶֽיהָ׃ on her

But every neder of an almanah, and of a gerushah (divorced woman), wherewith she have bound her nefesh, shall stand against her.

וְאִם־ SDBH If בֵּ֥ית SDBH house אִישָׁ֖הּ SDBH a woman in her husband’s נָדָ֑רָה SDBH has made a vow אֽוֹ־ SDBH or אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH an obligation אִסָּ֛ר SDBH . . . עַל־ under נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH put herself בִּשְׁבֻעָֽה׃ SDBH with an oath

And if she vowed in her bais ish, or bound her nefesh by an issar with a shevuah,

וְשָׁמַ֤ע SDBH hears of it אִישָׁהּ֙ SDBH and her husband וְהֶחֱרִ֣שׁ SDBH but says nothing לָ֔הּ to her לֹ֥א SDBH and does not הֵנִ֖יא SDBH prohibit her אֹתָ֑הּ SDBH - וְקָ֙מוּ֙ SDBH - כָּל־ then all נְדָרֶ֔יהָ SDBH the vows וְכָל־ or אִסָּ֛ר SDBH pledges אֲשֶׁר־ SDBH by which אָסְרָ֥ה SDBH she has bound עַל־ . . . נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH herself יָקֽוּם׃ SDBH shall stand

And her ish heard it, and said nothing to her, and forbade her not, then all her nedarim shall stand, and every issar wherewith she bound her nefesh shall stand.

וְאִם־ SDBH But if הָפֵר֩ SDBH nullifies them יָפֵ֨ר SDBH has nullified them אֹתָ֥ם׀ SDBH - אִישָׁהּ֮ SDBH her husband בְּי֣וֹם SDBH on the day שָׁמְעוֹ֒ SDBH he hears of them כָּל־ then nothing מוֹצָ֨א SDBH that came from שְׂפָתֶ֧יהָ SDBH her lips לִנְדָרֶ֛יהָ SDBH whether her vows וּלְאִסַּ֥ר SDBH or pledges נַפְשָׁ֖הּ SDBH - לֹ֣א SDBH . . . יָק֑וּם SDBH shall stand אִישָׁ֣הּ SDBH Her husband הֲפֵרָ֔ם SDBH . . . וַיהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi יִֽסְלַֽח־ SDBH will absolve לָֽהּ׃ her

But if her ish hath utterly nullified them on the yom he heard them, then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her nedarim, or concerning the issar of her nefesh, shall not stand; her ish hath nullified them; and Hashem shall forgive her.

כָּל־ any נֵ֛דֶר SDBH vow וְכָל־ or any שְׁבֻעַ֥ת SDBH sworn אִסָּ֖ר SDBH pledge לְעַנֹּ֣ת SDBH to deny נָ֑פֶשׁ SDBH herself אִישָׁ֥הּ SDBH Her husband יְקִימֶ֖נּוּ SDBH may confirm וְאִישָׁ֥הּ SDBH . . . יְפֵרֶֽנּוּ׃ SDBH or nullify

Every neder, and every shevuat issar to afflict the nefesh, her ish may let it stand, or her ish may let it have a hafarah.

14

וְאִם־ SDBH But if הַחֲרֵשׁ֩ SDBH says nothing יַחֲרִ֨ישׁ SDBH . . . לָ֥הּ to her אִישָׁהּ֮ SDBH her husband מִיּ֣וֹם SDBH from day אֶל־ to יוֹם֒ SDBH day וְהֵקִים֙ SDBH then he confirms אֶת־ SDBH - כָּל־ all נְדָרֶ֔יהָ SDBH the vows א֥וֹ SDBH and אֶת־ SDBH - כָּל־ - אֱסָרֶ֖יהָ SDBH pledges אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH that עָלֶ֑יהָ bind her הֵקִ֣ים SDBH He has confirmed אֹתָ֔ם SDBH them כִּי־ because הֶחֱרִ֥שׁ SDBH he said nothing לָ֖הּ to her בְּי֥וֹם SDBH on the day שָׁמְעֽוֹ׃ SDBH he heard about them

But if her ish say nothing to her from yom to yom, then he will have let stand all her nedarim or all her issurim, which are upon her; he will have let them stand, because he said nothing to her in the yom that he heard them.

15

וְאִם־ SDBH But if הָפֵ֥ר SDBH he nullifies יָפֵ֛ר SDBH . . . אֹתָ֖ם SDBH them אַחֲרֵ֣י SDBH after שָׁמְע֑וֹ SDBH he hears of them וְנָשָׂ֖א SDBH then he will bear אֶת־ SDBH her עֲוֺנָֽהּ׃ SDBH iniquity

But if he shall revoke them after that he hath heard them, then nasa (he shall bear) her avon.

16

אֵ֣לֶּה SDBH These הַֽחֻקִּ֗ים SDBH are the statutes אֲשֶׁ֨ר SDBH that צִוָּ֤ה SDBH commanded יְהוָה֙ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֶת־ SDBH - מֹשֶׁ֔ה SDBH Moses בֵּ֥ין SDBH concerning the relationship between אִ֖ישׁ SDBH a man לְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ SDBH and his wife בֵּֽין־ SDBH and between אָ֣ב SDBH a father לְבִתּ֔וֹ SDBH and a young daughter בִּנְעֻרֶ֖יהָ SDBH . . . בֵּ֥ית SDBH home אָבִֽיהָ׃פ SDBH still in his

These are the chukkim, which Hashem commanded Moshe, between an ish and his isha, between the av and his bat, being yet in her youth in her bais avi.
