And Miryam and Aharon spoke against Moshe because of the Kushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Kushite woman.

וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ SDBH they said הֲרַ֤ק SDBH only אַךְ־ SDBH . . . בְּמֹשֶׁה֙ SDBH through Moses דִּבֶּ֣ר SDBH speak יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הֲלֹ֖א SDBH Does He not גַּם־ SDBH also בָּ֣נוּ through us דִבֵּ֑ר SDBH speak וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע SDBH heard this יְהוָֽה׃ SDBH Hashem/Adonoi
And they said, Hath Hashem indeed spoken only by Moshe? Hath He not spoken also by us? And Hashem heard it.
(Now the man Moshe was anav me'od, above all the men which were upon the face of ha'adamah.)
And Hashem spoke suddenly unto Moshe, and unto Aharon, and unto Miryam, Come out ye three unto the Ohel Mo'ed. And they three came out.
And Hashem came down in an Ammud Anan, and stood in the entrance of the Ohel, and He called Aharon and Miryam; and they both came forth.

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר SDBH He said שִׁמְעוּ־ SDBH Hear נָ֣א now דְבָרָ֑י SDBH My words אִם־ SDBH If יִֽהְיֶה֙ there is נְבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם SDBH a prophet [among you] יְהוָ֗ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בַּמַּרְאָה֙ SDBH in a vision אֵלָ֣יו to him אֶתְוַדָּ֔ע SDBH will reveal Myself בַּחֲל֖וֹם SDBH in a dream אֲדַבֶּר־ SDBH I will speak בּֽוֹ׃ to him
And He said, Hear now My words: If there be a navi among you, I Hashem will reveal Myself unto him in a mar'ah (vision), and will speak unto him in a chalom.

לֹא־ SDBH [But this is] not כֵ֖ן SDBH so עַבְדִּ֣י SDBH with My servant מֹשֶׁ֑ה SDBH Moses בְּכָל־ in all בֵּיתִ֖י SDBH My house נֶאֱמָ֥ן SDBH is faithful הֽוּא׃ SDBH he
Avdi Moshe is not so, who is ne'eman (faithful) in all Mine Bais.
With him will I speak peh el peh, plainly, and not in dark sayings; and the temuna (form) of Hashem shall he behold; why then were ye not afraid to speak against Avdi Moshe?

וַיִּֽחַר SDBH burned אַ֧ף SDBH So the anger יְהוָ֛ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi בָּ֖ם against them וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃ SDBH and He departed
And the anger of Hashem was kindled against them; and He departed.
And the Anan departed from off the Ohel [Mo'ed]; and, hinei, Miryam became metzora'at (leprous), white as snow: and Aharon looked upon Miryam, and, hinei, she was metzora'at.
And Aharon said unto Moshe, Alas, adoni, I beseech thee, hold not the chattat (sin) against us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

אַל־ do not נָ֥א Please תְהִ֖י let her be כַּמֵּ֑ת SDBH like a stillborn infant אֲשֶׁ֤ר SDBH whose בְּצֵאתוֹ֙ SDBH when he comes out מֵרֶ֣חֶם SDBH womb אִמּ֔וֹ SDBH of his mother’s וַיֵּאָכֵ֖ל SDBH consumed חֲצִ֥י SDBH is half בְשָׂרֽוֹ׃ SDBH flesh
Let her not be as one dead, of whom the basar is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.

וַיִּצְעַ֣ק SDBH cried out מֹשֶׁ֔ה SDBH So Moses אֶל־ to יְהוָ֖ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi לֵאמֹ֑ר SDBH . . . אֵ֕ל SDBH O G-d נָ֛א please רְפָ֥א SDBH heal נָ֖א - לָֽהּ׃פ her
And Moshe cried unto Hashem, saying, El (G-d), refah (heal) her now, I beseech thee.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר SDBH answered יְהוָ֜ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi אֶל־ . . . מֹשֶׁ֗ה SDBH Moses וְאָבִ֙יהָ֙ SDBH If her father יָרֹ֤ק SDBH had but spit יָרַק֙ SDBH . . . בְּפָנֶ֔יהָ in her face הֲלֹ֥א SDBH would she not תִכָּלֵ֖ם SDBH have been in disgrace שִׁבְעַ֣ת SDBH for seven יָמִ֑ים SDBH days תִּסָּגֵ֞ר SDBH Let her be confined שִׁבְעַ֤ת SDBH for seven יָמִים֙ SDBH days מִח֣וּץ SDBH outside לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה SDBH the camp וְאַחַ֖ר SDBH after that תֵּאָסֵֽף׃ SDBH she may be brought back in
And Hashem said unto Moshe, If her av had but spit in her face, should she not be in disgrace seven days? Let her be exiled from the machaneh seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
And Miryam was exiled from the machaneh seven days; and HaAm did not set out till Miryam was received in again.
And afterward HaAm removed from Chatzerot, and encamped in the Midbar Paran. [SHELACH LECHA]
