Malachi 4 — Hebrew–OJB Interlinear

כִּֽי־ For הִנֵּ֤ה behold הַיּוֹם֙ SDBH the day בָּ֔א SDBH is coming בֹּעֵ֖ר SDBH burning כַּתַּנּ֑וּר SDBH like a furnace וְהָי֨וּ [when] כָל־ all זֵדִ֜ים SDBH the arrogant וְכָל־ and every עֹשֵׂ֤ה SDBH evildoer רִשְׁעָה֙ SDBH . . . קַ֔שׁ SDBH will be stubble וְלִהַ֨ט SDBH when I will set them ablaze אֹתָ֜ם SDBH - הַיּ֣וֹם SDBH the day הַבָּ֗א SDBH is coming אָמַר֙ SDBH says יְהוָ֣ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi צְבָא֔וֹת SDBH of Hosts אֲשֶׁ֛ר SDBH - לֹא־ SDBH Not יַעֲזֹ֥ב SDBH will be left לָהֶ֖ם to them שֹׁ֥רֶשׁ SDBH a root וְעָנָֽף׃ SDBH or branch

(3:19) For, hinei, HaYom bah (the day cometh), that shall burn as an oven; and kol zedim (all the proud), yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and HaYom that cometh shall burn them up, saith Hashem Tzva'os, that it shall leave them neither shoresh (root) nor anaf (branch).

וְזָרְחָ֨ה SDBH will rise לָכֶ֜ם יִרְאֵ֤י SDBH But for you who fear שְׁמִי֙ SDBH My name שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ SDBH the sun צְדָקָ֔ה SDBH of righteousness וּמַרְפֵּ֖א SDBH with healing בִּכְנָפֶ֑יהָ SDBH in its wings וִֽיצָאתֶ֥ם SDBH and you will go out וּפִשְׁתֶּ֖ם SDBH and leap כְּעֶגְלֵ֥י SDBH like calves מַרְבֵּֽק׃ SDBH from the stall

But unto you that fear My name shall the Shemesh Tzedakah (sun of righteousness) arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

וְעַסּוֹתֶ֣ם SDBH Then you will trample רְשָׁעִ֔ים SDBH the wicked כִּֽי־ for יִהְי֣וּ they will be אֵ֔פֶר SDBH ashes תַּ֖חַת SDBH under כַּפּ֣וֹת SDBH the soles רַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם SDBH of your feet בַּיּוֹם֙ SDBH on the day אֲשֶׁ֣ר SDBH - אֲנִ֣י SDBH I עֹשֶׂ֔ה SDBH am preparing אָמַ֖ר SDBH says יְהוָ֥ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi צְבָאֽוֹת׃פ SDBH of Hosts

And ye shall trample down the resha'im; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in HaYom that I shall do this, saith Hashem Tzva'os.

זִכְר֕וּ SDBH Remember תּוֹרַ֖ת SDBH the law מֹשֶׁ֣ה SDBH Moses עַבְדִּ֑י SDBH of My servant אֲשֶׁר֩ SDBH - צִוִּ֨יתִי SDBH I commanded אוֹת֤וֹ SDBH him בְחֹרֵב֙ SDBH at Horeb עַל־ for כָּל־ all יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל SDBH Israel חֻקִּ֖ים SDBH the statutes וּמִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃ SDBH and ordinances

Remember ye the Torat Moshe Avdi, which I commanded unto him in Chorev for kol Yisroel, with the chukkim (statutes) and mishpatim (judgments).

הִנֵּ֤ה Behold אָֽנֹכִי֙ SDBH I שֹׁלֵ֣חַ SDBH will send לָכֶ֔ם you אֵ֖ת SDBH - אֵלִיָּ֣ה SDBH Elijah הַנָּבִ֑יא SDBH the prophet לִפְנֵ֗י before בּ֚וֹא SDBH the coming י֣וֹם SDBH Day יְהוָ֔ה SDBH Hashem/Adonoi הַגָּד֖וֹל SDBH of the great וְהַנּוֹרָֽא׃ SDBH and awesome

Hinei, I will send you Eliyahu HaNavi before the coming of the great and dreadful Yom Hashem;

וְהֵשִׁ֤יב SDBH And he will turn לֵב־ SDBH the hearts אָבוֹת֙ SDBH of the fathers עַל־ to בָּנִ֔ים SDBH their children וְלֵ֥ב SDBH and the hearts בָּנִ֖ים SDBH of the children עַל־ to אֲבוֹתָ֑ם SDBH their fathers פֶּן־ Otherwise אָב֕וֹא SDBH I will come וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י SDBH and strike אֶת־ SDBH - הָאָ֖רֶץ SDBH the land חֵֽרֶם׃ SDBH with a curse

And he shall turn the lev-avot to the banim, and the lev-banim to their avot, lest I come and strike the earth with cherem.
