Dr Phil Goble speaking: I want to speak you to about something called "the flesh". “In my flesh, there is no good thing.” The human nature un-renewed by the Ruach HaKodesh … this satanic “hath-G-d-said?” pride … kind of thing that we have. I began to really notice this about myself when I was seventeen years old. On my birthday May the 2nd, I'm sitting in Oakland City, Indiana, with the Evansville Courier in my hand and on the front page, in the headlines, CARYL CHESSMAN EXECUTED!

Now here I am, a little kid, I'd been in the library reading Cell 2455 Death Row by Caryl Chessman. Here's this guy with this big schnozzola nose and he's been picked out of a line up by one or two of the girls that he raped. He was the “red light bandit,” he's a liar, he's on death row, he's very smart. He's been, he's become a self-educated expert at Habeas Corpus. He's able to hold back the, the, you know the old, you know with his Scythe, you know what I'm talking about? (the Grim Reaper) Talking about (Mr) Death, you see, the wages that (Mr) Sin pays is Death. And here he's been able to get all these stays of execution for all these years and I'd been following this.

But somehow sitting there on that couch, in Oakland City, Indiana, with the Evansville Courier, I sensed in myself that I'm a Caryl Chessman because, it says “Whoever has not believed is condemned ALREADY.” So I'M on death row and also, it's very clear in the bible that “the wages that sin pays is death” and the bible, the bible makes is very clear that, that there is “no condemnation for those who are in Moshiach” but I didn't really believe I WAS in Moshiach. I was … look, for the next ten years the L-rd was going to have to do a lot sifting and He was going to have to do a lot of pruning and He was going to have to basically get me to the point where I would let go and let G-d, where I would give my life to the Lord. But I was not WILLING. I had my OWN plans, “all we like sheep have gone astray.” I was going to go my “own way.” But here's the point I want to make to you today, “what if G-d, wanting to show His wrath and make His power known, endured with much long suffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,” see the thing is, when Sennacherib sends his messengers to Hezekiah (2Kgs 18:17) and says, "What are you doing, trusting in this G-d of yours? What good did THEIR g-ds do THEM, all these nations that I've already subjugated?" And they say, you know the messengers that come out, "Please, speak to us in Yehudit, not in Aramaic." You know, or I'm sorry, just exactly the opposite, "We understand Aramaic, speak to us in Aramaic, not in Jewish, you know, not in Yehudit. Not in Hebrew because the people on the wall, they're listening, you know, and we don't want to get them upset.". So the messenger says, "Look, you mean, you don't think that THEY’RE going to have to eat THEIR dung and drink THEIR urine when we set up our siege works around this city and take Jerusalem? Why SHOULDN’T they hear about it? We're not just talking to you, stupid.". And Sennacherib, he is, he's mocking G-d. He's mocking G-d. "What are YOU going to do about it, G-d? What are you going to DO about it?" There's a little, word, LAMMED AYIN GIMMEL, “mock.” It's used in Psalm 22, that's what they do with Moshiach when He's hanging on the tree. "Hey Yushke!", that's what the orthodox Jews, many of them, do down in Brooklyn, "Hey Yushke, Yushke!". And they spit, they spit, they call Him yushke and they mock Him. And that's what Sennacherib was doing. And G-d says, "I'm going to turn you around, I'm going to put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth.". The Angel of the Lord, the Malach Hashem, strikes down 185,000 Assyrians. Friend, you don't know who you're dealing with.

I'm sitting there in Oakland City, Indiana with the Evansville Courier, looking at this man that I've been following for years and years and years and I'm, in the pit of my stomach, I know he's just gone to hell. I know this lying, rapist, murderer, con-artist has just gone to hell, and I have the fear that I might also go there because I don't think I'm saved.

Friend, let me tell you something out there, if you're not saved, you're going to Gehinnom … Gehinnom, friend. We're talking about fire, EISH OLAM (Isaiah 66:24), eternal fire, it's a place of eternal contempt. It's a place where the mockers will be mocked. Yes, DERAON, DERAON, DERAON, OLAM, OLAM, OLAM (Daniel 12:2), forever and ever and ever. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry G-d, friend. And I was sitting there, a seventeen year old kid … it was going to take G-d ten more years to get me saved, I was a tough customer. But you know what, Gog, of Magog, oh yes, he's sitting there in the Kremlin, he's looking, he's looking at the Black Sea, he wants that Black Sea. He's looking at, what he considers a simpleton, (Neville) “Chamberlain” in the Oval Office, "Peace in our times, I've just returned from Munich, Peace in our times. The Fuhrer, the Fuhrer is not going to invade Poland and Gog is not going to invade the Ukraine. Peace in our times.". Friend, when are you going to get saved? When are you going to see that a simpleton like you has no chance with an angry G-d? You've got to get, you've got to get saved. Hallelujah?

Gog of the land of Magog. He's going to attack Israel and G-d’s going to do the same thing. It says in Ezekiel 39:2, "I will turn you around, O Gog!” I will turn you around. The same thing He said to Sennacherib: "I will put my hook in your nose and I will put my bit in your mouth." And I'm sitting there in Oakland City, Indiana with the Evansville Courier looking at Caryl Chessman, cell 2455 Death Row, San Quentin, the “red light” rapist with a big nose that was easily picked out of a line-up by two of his victims, who said, "Oh no, it wasn't me! It wasn't me! It wasn't me!” Friend, when are you going to stop lying and get saved? When are you going to come to the L-rd? When are you going to understand that if G-d wants to “show His wrath,” he can certainly do it? He can “make His power known” with a reprobate like you. The wine press, yes, you know He's going to trample in anger, those grapes of wrath… He has trampled out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored. And all the hypocrites in Washington, D.C. that sing the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” they don't realize that THEY are those very grapes that are going to be trampled on by the L-rd if they don't repent! Hallelujah?

You say, don't give me the New Testament, but friend, this is Isaiah chapter 63, not just Revelation 14 and 19, I didn't write this book, don't blame me. In some ways I’m still that seventeen year old kid looking at the Evansville Courier, you know, and I think I was looking for a loophole: How is it that possibly I'm not on death row and I'm not Caryl Chessman and I'm not going to go to hell with this guy? How is it that somehow I can get out of this and still go on my merry way? “All we like sheep have gone astray, we've all gone our own way,” I wanted to go my own way. I wanted to go to Hollywood, I wanted to see my name in lights. I didn't care about reading the Bible. I had another script. Friend, I was going to hell and by the mercy of

G-d, by the mercy of G-d, a reprobate like me, a proud, little, selfish, wicked kid like me, the

L-rd saved by His grace. And He wants to save a reprobate like you, friend. Don't give me your religious phony stuff. Give me the Bible. Don't be a Caryl Chessman, giving me a line, he was giving people a line, "Oh I didn't do it, somebody else did it. I hope they find this guy! I didn't do it, I'm innocent". And you know what? He was so smart, he actually got another “habeas corpus,” (related appeal) and the judge said, "Yeah, I'll give him another stay of execution." And the secretary, she got so nervous she was trying to call the Warden, she had the phone number, she misdialed, and while the wrong number was ringing and ringing and ringing, the pellets dropped into the acid under his chair and the fumes, the noxious fumes began to go into his nose and he began to foam at the mouth and then he was in hell fire which is exactly where you're going friend, exactly where you're going. Time has run out for YOU. Can I hear an amen?

Dr Phil Goble: Okay I guess there's somebody out there that wants to get saved. Praise G-d, would you pray this prayer with me right now? Would you just ask the L-rd to come into your heart right now and say Yeshua, Yeshua, forgive me, for all my sins…

Take control of my life.

Save me from the hell I deserve.

Make me a (born again) new person.

Make me a new person.

And I will serve you.

All the days of my life.

And keep the flesh under check.

By staying under the Word.

In a place where the Bible is believed in and faithfully taught.
